Hello my dear friends, I am happy to show you the beautiful ancient city of Petra in this video.🇯🇴🇯🇴🇯🇴 In this video, I speak mostly in Arabic because the idea of my travel vlog is to experience and understand the culture and people through the language.

I would like to share with you my experience with a Bedouin family on top of the mountain. I learned some Bedouin dialects, which is super fun. I want to thank my Bedouin friend Ahmed and his family for their kindness and hospitality.

I agree it's so inspiring to see people succeeding in learning many complex languages ! And the result is beautiful ! You have no connection with other cultures if you speak only one language. Personally I'd love to speak Arabic but it's so hard lol

Just recently discovered your channel and immediately subscribed. My mother tongue is Arabic (Levantine dialect - Egyptian /Lebanese). Your Arabic is spot on. I am currently learning Mandarin and Farsi. ☺
Egyptian and lebanese are not the same dialect. Egyptian is very different. Lebanese and Syrian are the same.
She is so gorgeous. I really like the adventures. Her Arabic is really good. As a linguist, I can assure you that her knowledge of such complicated languages like Arabic and Chinese (arguably, the most two complicated languages in the world) creates more neurological connection in the brain. People like that are usually smarter than the average person by default.

You inspire me so much, I currently only speak English and a bit of German but my partner is Arab and I am desperate to learn. I also studied some linguistics at uni and find everything about languages so beautiful. I’m 27 but I’m going to make it my goal to learn as many languages as I can !

Yes, East / South East Asians are also historically connected to the Middle East too for over a thousand years. We have a long relationship.

I'm focusing on standard Arabic, but I would like to learn Syrian Arabic (my husband is Syrian). My Arabic sounds not natural at all 😄. I just found your channel and i am SO happy I did! I have always been in love with learning languages ever since I was in high school teaching myself Italian and throughout the years trying to learn German, Spanish and Swedish but never stuck to it because i wasn't doing it right.
