Wait, what? To me it was kind of a neutral accent with a maybe-not-so-subtle Asian tone. Some parts you could hear the British accent but not the whole time.
Wouldn't say actively, but there are hints of the Southern Brit accent coming through in a couple words. Also it's funny to me when non-Brits say "British accent" like mate which part of Britain? Because there are very distinct accents in different parts.

Why are they referring to it as Persian instead of Farsi? Is Farsi now an antiquated reference term for the name of the language? I’ve always only heard it referred to as Farsi.
All the french fellows saying "I'm really impressed with their accent!" the accent accent accent accent. I'm french, and yes these girls have a good accent, my point is that I'm also a poliglot and I had the chance to live in other contries. And I learned that WE french are not perfect. My people is always complaining about the accent of the foreigners in french, and always say "If you are not going to speak it perfectly, don't speak it!". I used to be that kind of stupid, ignorant Frenchman. But living outside my country and learning other languages made me very very humble, and I realized how heavy and ignorant I was before. We French always complain about the accent of others, but we never realize that our French accent is so strong that when we speak other languages we have an accent that is too strong and very characteristic. We never really manage to speak another language without an accent, no matter how soft it is (which is usually strong) we always have an accent. So now I find it ridiculous that French people complain about other people's accents when they speak French, but never realize how badly we speak another language. I am ashamed of the people of my country. Congratulations to these two women not only for their intelligence but for the humility they show.

I love this comment. It sounds so genuine and heart-warming. I remember going out with a French friend who ordered a glass of red at the nightclub but got white instead. I asked him why didn't he tell the barman that he mistook the order, he just accepted it as no-one understands his English with a French accent in a noisy nightclub! Mahya's Chinese accent is really lovely, she has such a good understanding of intonation, and while it’s not perfect, it’s a lot better than many learners I’ve heard!
My advice for any new language learners: 1. Talk to yourself in the language you're learning. Even if it's really weird, it helped me translate English to Romanian faster and also learn vocabulary faster. It doesn't matter how limited your vocabulary is.
I talk to myself all the time when I'm at home anyways, so I don't think it's weird at all. I agree it helps a lot to get more fluent and practice pronunciation. I went a step further and switched my inner monologue to English, which helped me gain a lot of fluency and confidence in the language that school never managed to. I occasionally practice my Dutch by talking to myself as well, since I don't have any Dutch speakers around.

@thornback Not quite true. French and Spanish are quite different. I speak French and a bit of Spanish, but my Spanish is influenced by my Italian knowledge, not my French. Truth is, if you know more than one language, it is easier for you to learn another foreign language, especially if they have common roots, like for instance, Italian (my mothertongue) and Spanish, or German (where I grew up) and English. My daughter instead speaks also Portughese, Chinese, Dutch, Korean and wants to learn also Arabic :)
@@sasino Her chinese is most parts sounds native, but in every fifth word or so, the intonation is a bit off (like she uses a first tone instead of fourth). Her speaking overall is very smooth, though.

English is like the easiest of all languages they speak! I'm french and i have an advanced level of English despite the fact that I've never been in an eng speaking country for more than one week.

But since French and English have a bunch of similarities, English is certainly easier for a French native speaker than it would be for a Chinese native speaker. But because of all of the media available in English, certainly, anyone could learn it.
I mean I’ve never lived in an English speaking country yet out of 3 and a half language I’m most comfortable speaking English. It’s all about personal interest. I talked to myself a lot in English since people around me spoke either my mother language or the language of the country I currently live in. It was a great way to broaden my English vocabulary but I did look insane when I had full on conversations with myself in my room

I only know like 4 languages and sometimes the words kept mixing up in my head, it's very interesting to see they can just say what they want in any languages without any hesitation😲👏👏👏
The catch is: practice 🙈🤣 I speak Norvegian a bit but I have no one to practice with. My bf is a German teacher (we are Romanians) so when he speaks to me in German my mind mixes up words from Norvegian with those from German. I notice I do the same with Italian and Spanish. So it is really important to give time to a foreign language. To be honest: I know how, I just don't have the time nor the motivation....
I've got the same problem. I'm French living in Germany for 1year now and I have the feeling that I lose progressively my english by speaking all the time german. When I speak english, german words come first in my head 😑 it's so annoying, I admire people who can switch languages without this problem.
Same here. I’m Persian living in England, lost my fluency in English after learning Turkish which was my third language. Turkish words messes my mind when I’m speaking English or even my mother tongue, Persian 😟 I’m so jealous of these two, also really impressed

I'm a Pakistani and I can fleuntly speak Urdu, Turkish and English, intermediate level in French and Persian and now I'm beginning to learn Korean. Watching these two ladies filled me with a fire and I feel impatient to start learning and perfecting other languages. It feels so cool to be able to think Ina different language. For me, I'm quite good at Turkish and catch myself thinking in it and sometimes even speaking it in place of my native tongue Urdu before I realize it

I want to correct something. As a french person myself, I have learnt English, Turkish, spanish, persian and arabic. I can confidently say that Turkish, arabic and persian are nothing similar. Though persian and arabic are quite similar to each other, the thing is, Turkish has nothing to do with the other two languages. Only there have been massive influence of words to turkish from arabic&persian due to the switch they made to islam from an ancient Turkic religion; which is Tengrism. So, it's true they have words in common, but Turkic culture and grammar of the language is immensely different than arabic and persian

What impressed me the most is the fact that you speak languages from different language families. Those languages are so different yet you nailed them all! For me, after learning German, it’s easy to also learn Dutch. Chinese and Japanese also have vocabulary in common. But it really takes talent and practice to speak languages from different origins well. Fantastic achievement!

This is so beautiful, I’d love to learn at least three languages. At the moment I am studying my native peoples language which is called Gamilaraay it is an Aboriginal Australian language. This inspires me so much, thank you ☺️

I live in Australia and I had to basically stop learning my mother tongue because I had to get used to living here. I'm now starting to leaen about my culture again but once I am comfortable enough with that I really want to learn an aboriginal language because I live in their land and I want to be able to communicate with the people who lived here for ages.
Chinese is the only language i speak, but I'm trying very hard to learn English, and that's enough for me. i don't see the point to learn 3 or 4 languages, that's totally useless.
As a native Arabic speaker, I am shocked how impressive their accents were. I can say that the iranian girl is an expert speaking the Iraqi accent, if I saw her in the street I can't differentiate her from natives and that is rarely happening in Arab countries. Also the Chinese girl did an incredible job, she did speak a mix of Syrian-Lebenese accent, pronounced so correctly and professionally.. The Lebanese accent in arap countries described as the most romantic accent in Arabic so it is so adorable 💕
I’m French, and while they have a noticeable accent, it sounds more like they were raised in France in a foreign family. I’ve absolutely heard this kind of accent in natives. Some grammar mistakes were made, but nothing too bothering. They’re doing so great

turkish,arabic and persian are three extremly differnt languages with some similar word due to the history. perisan is an indo-european language more similar to kurdish,hindi or even french since they are all indo-european languages.turkish is an altaic lanuage similar to central asian languages like turkmen,kazakh or even chinese.Yes turkish is more similar to chinese then it is to persion or arabic.and finally arabic is a semitic languge part of the semitic branch and it similar to hebrew,assyrian languages.
Turkish is not similar to Chinese, AT ALL. Maybe you meant Japanese or Korean? Also Altaic languages do not form a language family, it is not proven that they have the same root. Turkish is a Turkic language along with Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Yakut language and many others.
Turkic languages MAYBE are closer to Mongolian, Korean, and Japanese, but not Chinese. If there are similar-sounding words, it's probably because of loanwords in the East. I think it's fair to say that Turkish is just as different to Chinese as it is to Arabic and Persian.

the Chinese girl's Arabic is sooooo impressive, like im half pali and half Algerian born and raised in London, so I speak multiple dialects, and I thought that was impressive, since I've never spent more than 3 weeks at a time at an Arabic speaking country. her pronunciation and accent are remarkable, even better than her English, I dare to say, props to her, honestly, I'm seriously impressed. i also love how they change the speed of their talking depending on how much they know of the language; they were talking fast in French, Chinese and Arabic, but when it came to Turkish they stepped in the breaks. these girls have inspired me to continue studying languages. im currently fluent in arabic and english, im at a conversational level in Italian, french and Turkish and im also learning russian. i have a Moldovan friend who is helping me a lot with that so, essentially, im quite pleased with the fact that i didn't need subtitles for 4 of the languages for me, i find it a lot easier to imitate accents than words. for example, people say it's impossible for a french person to say you have a good accent, but i find that was quite the opposite, people generally think i speak teh language because of my accent, even though i have a very limited vocabulary in comparison to the entire language. i find that it's best to adopt slang in french to impress these baguette people. i do this by listening to French songs, i love soolking he's my favourite person ever, but also having conversations with people in french. im half Algerian so my dad is fluent in french as well. i think it helps if you flood your surroundings with the language you're learning so that you can really get used to it. i just want to learn italian quicker, since i listen to a lot of italian drill as well, and it's really close to french, i just wanna be able to say im fluent in more than 2 or 3 languages. anyways, i need to get off youtube because im writing an essay at midnight. thank you for listening to my ted talk, this was your speaker imane bouziane, graphic designer, economist, sociologist, and future polyglot, i hope you've had a great evening, good day, and good night!

Am I struggling with, or just being lazy with learning a third language… I think it’s the latter for me. Oh my gosh, this was an eye opener for me. Bravo ladies. Bilingual is not a big deal quite honestly. I’m very ordinary compared with rest of the population. But in my mother country being bilingual is highly praised for. I think they need to realize how ordinary being a bilingual person is. Well I guess it’s hard because most of them only need to know one language for their entire lives…
I’m sad I stopped practicing my native language (Toisanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin) and what I learned in school (Spanish). It’s really hard to make time to practice when you aren’t surrounded by the language. Most of my closest friends are monolingual. I used to grow up with immigrants or children of immigrants so we commonly spoke in our home or native languages. I think that kept the language part of my brain active. Someday I hope to pick it back up. I too am just lazy. Not incompetent.
Well you have to be cautious with elitism in there... I don't know what country is your mother from, but in mine it's hard for the majority of people to know our own mother language, let alone a second one. It's not always that simple, thus it's not ordinary to be a bilingual, depending on your context.

Hi guys, I am so in awe of you both! I speak 7 languages at a high level. I was born and raised in Australia, so I speak English, but my parents are from Sri Lanka, so I grew up with Sinhala as well. I studied French in high school, then went on to learn Arabic (MSA), Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish at university, and have just completed my Russian studies while I am doing my Masters degree in translation. I am currently studying Turkish, Greek, Thai and Tamil, but you have both encouraged me to start learning Persian. Thank you guys so much for the amazing video and I can't wait for the next one!

The most important thing I take from learning other languages (and thus other cultures) is that I became more openminded and more soft hearted. It was my dream to learn exactly 9 languages since I was kid cause I had it easy learning new languages but I kinda just gave up on the way, not having the motivation, it's amazing to see that you two speak 9 languages and it gave me the motivation to continue.
I'm Persian and the fact she can speak Persian so fluently is so impressive. She even knows some very hard words and how to use them correctly. Her accent is almost nonexistent except for a few words. I am very impressed on the fluency and how little time she needs to keep conversation. I've seen polyglots speak Farsi very staggered with a lot of stops and thinking. But she has no issue at all. Great work! I only speak 3 languages although I am learning Korean and Japanese. I'm going to check some more of your vids for tips!

I just realized the way you can tell when English isn’t someone’s first language is the lack of saying filler words like… “like”! Listening to them speak English it sounds great but I realized how much I say like compared to someone who is learning English 😅 It sounds so much clearer when they speak lol.
The trick is to learn the filler words and sayings as well 😉 and most importantly learn how to wrongly pronounce foreign words like saying crossaint the American way. That's when people stop being able to tell if this is your language or not
Their English is excellent. Very clear, and easy to understand. I was talking to my sister, and telling her that the quickest way for me to notice a speaker is not native, is how flat the R sounds are. Just that the R spoken is a giveaway for me. I have learned a couple of languages and I can guarantee that my accent is atrocious. LOL My Hebrew is not so bad, but I always feel like I sound like the over exaggerated Pepe LePew (cartoon character) French accent when I speak, LOL And I try not to sound like the Leprechaun from the Lucky Charms cereal commercials back in the 70s, when I speak Irish, so it comes out very flat. Haven't figured out how to fix that yet.
This was so entertaining to watch! I speak Bulgarian, English and Japanese. I also understand Russian and Macedonian because of their similarities to the Bulgarian language. Truly inspirational! Makes me want to pick up Korean or Spanish next haha
I'm impressed! My younger sister is a polyglot that speaks 7 languages including English, French, German, Romanche (High German Swiss), Turkish, Mandarin and Cantonese. I pale in comparison at two languages (English and Spanish) although I can sing in Italian, German, French and Latin. This video is well done!
Not sure if you are confused but Romansh is not "High German Swiss" and while it is one of the national languages of Switzerland it is a latin based language with only 60k native speakers and within that there are 5 dialects, the speakers of each dialect generally prefer to speak a version of swiss german between each other rather than Romansh as many of the dialects are not mutually intelligible.

Some parts you could hear the British accent but not the whole time.

Also it's funny to me when non-Brits say "British accent" like mate which part of Britain? Because there are very distinct accents in different parts.

Why are they referring to it as Persian instead of Farsi? Is Farsi now an antiquated reference term for the name of the language? I’ve always only heard it referred to as Farsi.
All the french fellows saying "I'm really impressed with their accent!" the accent accent accent accent. I'm french, and yes these girls have a good accent, my point is that I'm also a poliglot and I had the chance to live in other contries. And I learned that WE french are not perfect. My people is always complaining about the accent of the foreigners in french, and always say "If you are not going to speak it perfectly, don't speak it!". I used to be that kind of stupid, ignorant Frenchman. But living outside my country and learning other languages made me very very humble, and I realized how heavy and ignorant I was before. We French always complain about the accent of others, but we never realize that our French accent is so strong that when we speak other languages we have an accent that is too strong and very characteristic. We never really manage to speak another language without an accent, no matter how soft it is (which is usually strong) we always have an accent. So now I find it ridiculous that French people complain about other people's accents when they speak French, but never realize how badly we speak another language. I am ashamed of the people of my country.

I love this comment. It sounds so genuine and heart-warming. I remember going out with a French friend who ordered a glass of red at the nightclub but got white instead. I asked him why didn't he tell the barman that he mistook the order, he just accepted it as no-one understands his English with a French accent in a noisy nightclub! Mahya's Chinese accent is really lovely, she has such a good understanding of intonation, and while it’s not perfect, it’s a lot better than many learners I’ve heard!
My advice for any new language learners:
1. Talk to yourself in the language you're learning. Even if it's really weird, it helped me translate English to Romanian faster and also learn vocabulary faster. It doesn't matter how limited your vocabulary is.
I talk to myself all the time when I'm at home anyways, so I don't think it's weird at all. I agree it helps a lot to get more fluent and practice pronunciation. I went a step further and switched my inner monologue to English, which helped me gain a lot of fluency and confidence in the language that school never managed to. I occasionally practice my Dutch by talking to myself as well, since I don't have any Dutch speakers around.

@thornback Not quite true. French and Spanish are quite different. I speak French and a bit of Spanish, but my Spanish is influenced by my Italian knowledge, not my French. Truth is, if you know more than one language, it is easier for you to learn another foreign language, especially if they have common roots, like for instance, Italian (my mothertongue) and Spanish, or German (where I grew up) and English. My daughter instead speaks also Portughese, Chinese, Dutch, Korean and wants to learn also Arabic :)

English is like the easiest of all languages they speak! I'm french and i have an advanced level of English despite the fact that I've never been in an eng speaking country for more than one week.
@@anais.s7656 Considering their individual native languages, English probably isn't the easiest out of the whole bunch. But since French and English have a bunch of similarities, English is certainly easier for a French native speaker than it would be for a Chinese native speaker. But because of all of the media available in English, certainly, anyone could learn it.
I mean I’ve never lived in an English speaking country yet out of 3 and a half language I’m most comfortable speaking English. It’s all about personal interest. I talked to myself a lot in English since people around me spoke either my mother language or the language of the country I currently live in. It was a great way to broaden my English vocabulary but I did look insane when I had full on conversations with myself in my room

The catch is: practice 🙈🤣 I speak Norvegian a bit but I have no one to practice with. My bf is a German teacher (we are Romanians) so when he speaks to me in German my mind mixes up words from Norvegian with those from German. I notice I do the same with Italian and Spanish. So it is really important to give time to a foreign language. To be honest: I know how, I just don't have the time nor the motivation....
I've got the same problem. I'm French living in Germany for 1year now and I have the feeling that I lose progressively my english by speaking all the time german. When I speak english, german words come first in my head 😑 it's so annoying, I admire people who can switch languages without this problem.

I'm a Pakistani and I can fleuntly speak Urdu, Turkish and English, intermediate level in French and Persian and now I'm beginning to learn Korean. Watching these two ladies filled me with a fire and I feel impatient to start learning and perfecting other languages. It feels so cool to be able to think Ina different language. For me, I'm quite good at Turkish and catch myself thinking in it and sometimes even speaking it in place of my native tongue Urdu before I realize it

I want to correct something. As a french person myself, I have learnt English, Turkish, spanish, persian and arabic. I can confidently say that Turkish, arabic and persian are nothing similar. Though persian and arabic are quite similar to each other, the thing is, Turkish has nothing to do with the other two languages. Only there have been massive influence of words to turkish from arabic&persian due to the switch they made to islam from an ancient Turkic religion; which is Tengrism. So, it's true they have words in common, but Turkic culture and grammar of the language is immensely different than arabic and persian

What impressed me the most is the fact that you speak languages from different language families. Those languages are so different yet you nailed them all! For me, after learning German, it’s easy to also learn Dutch. Chinese and Japanese also have vocabulary in common. But it really takes talent and practice to speak languages from different origins well. Fantastic achievement!

People say Chinese is hard, but when you compare it to Arabic, Turkish and even Italian (my native language), it's much simpler, grammatically speaking
it's verz impressive how they both have almost perfect pronunciation, these languages are all very different but they are really good at all of them.

I live in Australia and I had to basically stop learning my mother tongue because I had to get used to living here. I'm now starting to leaen about my culture again but once I am comfortable enough with that I really want to learn an aboriginal language because I live in their land and I want to be able to communicate with the people who lived here for ages.

As a native Arabic speaker, I am shocked how impressive their accents were. I can say that the iranian girl is an expert speaking the Iraqi accent, if I saw her in the street I can't differentiate her from natives and that is rarely happening in Arab countries.
Also the Chinese girl did an incredible job, she did speak a mix of Syrian-Lebenese accent, pronounced so correctly and professionally.. The Lebanese accent in arap countries described as the most romantic accent in Arabic so it is so adorable 💕

I’m French, and while they have a noticeable accent, it sounds more like they were raised in France in a foreign family. I’ve absolutely heard this kind of accent in natives. Some grammar mistakes were made, but nothing too bothering. They’re doing so great

turkish,arabic and persian are three extremly differnt languages with some similar word due to the history. perisan is an indo-european language more similar to kurdish,hindi or even french since they are all indo-european languages.turkish is an altaic lanuage similar to central asian languages like turkmen,kazakh or even chinese.Yes turkish is more similar to chinese then it is to persion or arabic.and finally arabic is a semitic languge part of the semitic branch and it similar to hebrew,assyrian languages.
Turkish is not similar to Chinese, AT ALL. Maybe you meant Japanese or Korean? Also Altaic languages do not form a language family, it is not proven that they have the same root. Turkish is a Turkic language along with Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Yakut language and many others.

Turkic languages MAYBE are closer to Mongolian, Korean, and Japanese, but not Chinese. If there are similar-sounding words, it's probably because of loanwords in the East.

the Chinese girl's Arabic is sooooo impressive, like im half pali and half Algerian born and raised in London, so I speak multiple dialects, and I thought that was impressive, since I've never spent more than 3 weeks at a time at an Arabic speaking country. her pronunciation and accent are remarkable, even better than her English, I dare to say, props to her, honestly, I'm seriously impressed.
i also love how they change the speed of their talking depending on how much they know of the language; they were talking fast in French, Chinese and Arabic, but when it came to Turkish they stepped in the breaks. these girls have inspired me to continue studying languages. im currently fluent in arabic and english, im at a conversational level in Italian, french and Turkish and im also learning russian. i have a Moldovan friend who is helping me a lot with that so, essentially, im quite pleased with the fact that i didn't need subtitles for 4 of the languages
for me, i find it a lot easier to imitate accents than words. for example, people say it's impossible for a french person to say you have a good accent, but i find that was quite the opposite, people generally think i speak teh language because of my accent, even though i have a very limited vocabulary in comparison to the entire language. i find that it's best to adopt slang in french to impress these baguette people. i do this by listening to French songs, i love soolking he's my favourite person ever, but also having conversations with people in french. im half Algerian so my dad is fluent in french as well. i think it helps if you flood your surroundings with the language you're learning so that you can really get used to it. i just want to learn italian quicker, since i listen to a lot of italian drill as well, and it's really close to french, i just wanna be able to say im fluent in more than 2 or 3 languages.

Am I struggling with, or just being lazy with learning a third language… I think it’s the latter for me. Oh my gosh, this was an eye opener for me. Bravo ladies. Bilingual is not a big deal quite honestly. I’m very ordinary compared with rest of the population. But in my mother country being bilingual is highly praised for. I think they need to realize how ordinary being a bilingual person is. Well I guess it’s hard because most of them only need to know one language for their entire lives…
I’m sad I stopped practicing my native language (Toisanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin) and what I learned in school (Spanish). It’s really hard to make time to practice when you aren’t surrounded by the language. Most of my closest friends are monolingual. I used to grow up with immigrants or children of immigrants so we commonly spoke in our home or native languages. I think that kept the language part of my brain active. Someday I hope to pick it back up. I too am just lazy. Not incompetent.
Well you have to be cautious with elitism in there... I don't know what country is your mother from, but in mine it's hard for the majority of people to know our own mother language, let alone a second one. It's not always that simple, thus it's not ordinary to be a bilingual, depending on your context.
As a language learner, one of the most sobering quotes that I’ve ever heard was “the majority of the world speaks at least two languages”. I’m not even sure if it’s true, but it’s definitely believable.

Hi guys, I am so in awe of you both! I speak 7 languages at a high level. I was born and raised in Australia, so I speak English, but my parents are from Sri Lanka, so I grew up with Sinhala as well. I studied French in high school, then went on to learn Arabic (MSA), Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish at university, and have just completed my Russian studies while I am doing my Masters degree in translation. I am currently studying Turkish, Greek, Thai and Tamil, but you have both encouraged me to start learning Persian. Thank you guys so much for the amazing video and I can't wait for the next one!

It just motivates me to go on studying, seeing other language lovers. Go on studying; the more languages, the merrier! The most important thing I take from learning other languages (and thus other cultures) is that I became more openminded and more soft hearted. It made me realise how much people have in common, and how little we differ. Every human loves being talked to in his native language, every human loves being listened to, having a good conversation, smiles, and to share a glass (of tea or coffee).

I'm Persian and the fact she can speak Persian so fluently is so impressive. She even knows some very hard words and how to use them correctly. Her accent is almost nonexistent except for a few words. I am very impressed on the fluency and how little time she needs to keep conversation. I've seen polyglots speak Farsi very staggered with a lot of stops and thinking. But she has no issue at all. Great work! I only speak 3 languages although I am learning Korean and Japanese. I'm going to check some more of your vids for tips!

I just realized the way you can tell when English isn’t someone’s first language is the lack of saying filler words like… “like”! Listening to them speak English it sounds great but I realized how much I say like compared to someone who is learning English 😅 It sounds so much clearer when they speak lol.
The trick is to learn the filler words and sayings as well 😉 and most importantly learn how to wrongly pronounce foreign words like saying crossaint the American way. That's when people stop being able to tell if this is your language or not
Their English is excellent. Very clear, and easy to understand. I was talking to my sister, and telling her that the quickest way for me to notice a speaker is not native, is how flat the R sounds are. Just that the R spoken is a giveaway for me.
I have learned a couple of languages and I can guarantee that my accent is atrocious. LOL My Hebrew is not so bad, but I always feel like I sound like the over exaggerated Pepe LePew (cartoon character) French accent when I speak, LOL And I try not to sound like the Leprechaun from the Lucky Charms cereal commercials back in the 70s, when I speak Irish, so it comes out very flat. Haven't figured out how to fix that yet.
This was so entertaining to watch! I speak Bulgarian, English and Japanese. I also understand Russian and Macedonian because of their similarities to the Bulgarian language. Truly inspirational! Makes me want to pick up Korean or Spanish next haha

I'm impressed! My younger sister is a polyglot that speaks 7 languages including English, French, German, Romanche (High German Swiss), Turkish, Mandarin and Cantonese. I pale in comparison at two languages (English and Spanish) although I can sing in Italian, German, French and Latin. This video is well done!
Not sure if you are confused but Romansh is not "High German Swiss" and while it is one of the national languages of Switzerland it is a latin based language with only 60k native speakers and within that there are 5 dialects, the speakers of each dialect generally prefer to speak a version of swiss german between each other rather than Romansh as many of the dialects are not mutually intelligible.
I'm a polyglot too and I can speak berbère(native tong), french, arabic, english and a little of German. I consider you guys as my idols and now I'm trying to learn Korean and turkish too. I'm so impressed by your arabic accent wow 😍😍😍
