I always eat at Tonkatsu Suzuki when I visit Japan so I'm happy to see you showing it. Funny that you got the same seat I did last time, LOL. I always get the tenderloin/shrimp set myself.

Sapporo draft is my favorite, but then I've only had Sapporo, Asahi, and Kirin beers. I tried the Kirin Lager with sashimi last month at a little sushi restaurant in Interlaken, Switzerland. Both were good. All of the dishes you had looked delicious. I don't know if I can get Yebisu in the States. I see that it's made by Sapporo so should be pretty good.

The second place you visited looks great: different sakes and different small dishes, that is something that I would also enjoy. When I am in Japan, I like to try new things, where I dont even really know what it is ("something" ;-)).
I also like Udon and Tempura a lot. But for me, Tempura should be crispy, so it should always be served on the side, and not in the bowl of noodles. Here it looked fine, but sometimes its so soggy, and than I dont like it.
I like Sapporo, and plan to check out the museum this February
make sure to visit the tasting room and get the 3 beers combo, its great fun
For Japanese beers, I may be a spoiled bastard. Among my favourite brews are beers from Ise Kadoya, Yo-Ho brewing, Craft Beer Base (Osaka), Harvest Moon, Fujizakura Heights, Hitachino Nest, Baird Brewing, ... and many more.

What I don't get is why Solo Travel san has only about 3OOK subscribers while Solo Solo Travel san has more than 1.2M... They both have great content, and they've both had their channels for about the same length of time. Maybe Solo Solo san's sense of humor is gaining him more followers?? I like them both.

They both have their merits and great videos. I think STJ San will gather more as time goes on, he's gained quite a few in the past year or so. He's got a great premise for videos.
I don’t like the other guy, he’s trying to be a little too funny and the episode where he made fun of those elderly ladies was the last straw for me. Plus he’s not a solo traveler, he’s always with his mom or dad or both. 🙄

Hello there liked Sapporo beer but it's not brewed in Japan, I read. In winter, I'm a big sake drinker to keep myself warm. This cafe has done very tasty looking dishes. I would choose the Karaage chicken. Looked delicious. Thanks for sharing your eating experience. PS-- you're brave to eat....something *wink*

In Europe where we drink a lot of European beer we usually remove the foam that is on the top of the glass, so we get to the real flavor of the beer sooner
