Having a full Teppanyaki lunch course at a Hotel restaurant in Kyoto Japan TEPPANYAKI RESTAURANT LOIN Address: 579 Higashishiokojicho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, 600-8216, Japan
The artistry of these chefs. The food looked so delicious and it was a joy watching him make it. Not a bad price for all you got. Thank you for sharing this! I'd love to go there.
What are you smoking?? The guy just cut up shit and fried it in butter. Let me invite you over to my home and charge you $100 for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Compliments to the chef! That's some good work he's doing. I don't know that I would want to cook in front of an audience but he does it well. The food looks interesting but too pricey for me.
I'm in San Francisco, so things are obviously expensive here, but i agree that 120 for that meal, for two people, with such fantastic presentation and personal service is a fantastic deal. But my sense of pricing is definitely skewed.
Seeing him cut to her reaction is a staple of what makes this channel great. There's a subtle change in the intensity of the reaction that I appreciate about the deliciousness of the food.
at first I thought I'd still be hungry after eating this, but I'm always surprised by how elegantly satisfying Japanese and Korean food is. huge emphasis on nutrition and wonderful colours and flavours, not as carb-heavy as western food. it looks deceptively light. it's like the extra care and attention to detail really enriches the food!
bruh its litterly no food its an actual scam lol just cause it looks fancy doesnt mean its worth it that amount of food with half of it being unedible should be less then 5 dollars
@@chaocrawl you're paying for a multicourse meal, you will get full. If you've never seen or heard if a dégustation before, then I recommend you try ut
I've been to one of these restaurants a few times. This is indeed a mastered skill! Love watching them! And, it's not just visual art, the food is always good!
I've been watching your videos for YEARS!! I absolutely love them. They're soooo interesting and comforting. I feel like I get to travel to your part of the world with each video and meal you share. You are SO appreciated ❤❤❤❤
For what you paid, I dare say you got your money's worth of quality and presentation, as well as an appreciable amount of food, and that's a gold standard, eh? Mrs. Bacons was adorable as always and ugh, she is so PRETTY. Her happy smiling face always makes these videos complete. IMO.
Sometimes I feel like the only person on earth that is allergic to onions and garlic!🤦🏽♀️ I'm also allergic to freaking LAVENDER! Of all things to be allergic too and it's to two of the most popular vegetables used in nearly every dish cooked.then to something that can naturally help to calm someone down! Pretty sure God was having a bad day when it came to checking my boxes.🤦🏽♀️
@mistiewaters2185 oh man sorry about your allergies. I love onion and garlic. You probably couldn't even hug me lol Ive been told to never fear vampires . Buy another soothing herb is fresh chamomile If you can just sprinkle a few seeds willy nilly in the garden. It loves neglect and has the most soothing light herby green applish fragrance when fresh. And to me when it's dried-almost like bananas. Hugs again!
I got some amazing prawns yesterday, frozen for Christmas. I got a lobster and a ham too! I tried some of the prawns, they are tiger prawns, quite large and very meaty, amazing!
Your videos are so fun and interesting! My husband and I are too unwell to travel. Through your videos, we can imagine the smells, tasts, and experiences around the world. Miss Dancingbacon's blouse is absolutely adorable!❤
Thank you very much for taking me along for a visual feast! I'm sure it was all very tasty :P That Chef's skills are very impressive :) Best wishes for the new year!
i honestly think i would have left this place hungry - just because i would have forgotten to actually eat the food over watching the chef prepare it :P This was truly a delight to watch.
I dont know what it is but seeing the chef prepare the food is oddly satisfying. It gives you a feeling of satisfaction and makes you hungry in the process.
I'm not big on the fine dining like experience, as someone who grew up poor, I find it a lot of times to be pretentious but for what you got I think it's a great value for the experience, I'd actually go there for it.
It took me a few minutes to register that those were Abalone because they were so small they'd never be allowed to harvest here in California. Of course, those looked like White Abalone which is no longer allowed to fish, but even when it was the shell had to be 7 inches (about 18 cm) on the long side.
The prices were right! I figured how much per item and it actually comes to about $80.00 each. Fresh high quality food, cooked by a chef to taste. This chef is the epitome of professionalism. The filmography and subtitles were on point. As usual, Mrs. Bacon's adorable enthusiastic smiling approval was the cherry on the top. I have to say that despite I respect Japanese culture, I find it still extrange that the chef would serve first Mr. Bacon and then Mrs. Bacon. In many cultures, this would have been done the other way around. I am still trying to assimilate this values. It is a cultural shock for me. Thank you for sharing. 🙏
I heard these chefs take their jobs very seriously. They are like surgeons AKA doctors. But for your food. It's truly amazing to see how talented they are and how seriously they take their job. 🦐
We don't eat konjac for its taste, it's meant to stabilize your gut, but is not a probiotic. It's popular for weight loss and children's jelly snacks despite being a choking hazard. I was very interested in the salad, which is always my favorite in teppan restaurants. Teppan and salad is heaven to me
🙋♀️ I'm ALWAYS up for a video from Dancing Bacons, I even have a SPECIAL playlist just for all of them!!🤭 NEVER boring, ALWAYS well made, very descriptive, and u always go to the most interesting places--ones I will likely NEVER go to in THIS lifetime--and I find myself anxiously waiting for the next!! Thank u for YEARS of wonderful entertainment and I wish u and Mrs. Bacons a VERY Happy🎄holiday!!! See u in 2024!!!!🥰🎉🌹🎁💁🎀
I think my next trip to Japan will be a culinary tour starting from the Sapporo and going down to Fukuoka. We want to try the regional specialties for each Prefecture.
Felt like I was watching a surgeon perform multiple heart bypasses. Skillful execution with no wasted effort or movement. Everything was purposeful with pizazz! Well done chef!
I can't believe they had an air conditioner next to your table in December! That food looks amazing, and I'm so jealous of the yuzu sorbet. I've never even seen a yuzu in eastern USA, but I do have juice, so I might have to make some sorbet. Thank you for sharing!
The best part of fried rice is the crispy stuff on the bottom of the pan when it’s made properly. And they do that and turn it into a garnish. Brilliant.
The first course could have used maybe some more vegetables. I was more impressed with the way he removed the shell and de-veined the prawns than with some of the clacking and useless flash at some teppanyaki places. The beef course looked to be generous. A lot of places would just have split one of those steaks between two people with no second round. I'd have been like just make my rice all crispy. That looked really good. This was one of the better teppanyaki restaurants I've seen on videos.
The chef has the cleanest, nicest hands I’ve ever seen on a kitchen professional. When I’m working food service, my hands take on the qualities of a full grain leather… IF I use lotion. Otherwise, they’re more akin to beef jerky 😅
You guys are the internet's collective comfort youtubers. ❤ we love you bacons!

I think it's a good deal for the ingredients you're getting, abalone alone is expensive, in fact I've never tried it.
You’re paying for the experience too as a whole not just the meal if you think about it!
Of course you're paying for the experience. I don't have any issues with that. You're getting what you pay for.
I'm in San Francisco, so things are obviously expensive here, but i agree that 120 for that meal, for two people, with such fantastic presentation and personal service is a fantastic deal.
But my sense of pricing is definitely skewed.

Her reaction is always the same.
Her reaction to a McDonalds cheeseburger and a michelin star restaurant is the same.
The fact that Ginger Ale is more expensive than that awesome looking rice dish is crazy
