❤🎉❤Thank you😮!! beautiful harmonies, Corey Wells lead in this, so soulful, Chuck Negron high notes with such power and high 5 octave range! Stunning! 🥰
OMG!!! Turned 70 yrs old yesterday; and still have that album!! 70’s had the greatest music!, Not like the crap today! (Not intended to hurt feelings) No cell phones and computerized music like today! Check out Santana; ZZ Top; Chicago; JimCroce; James Taylor; Dobie Brothers…….etc. My daughters love this music; because they heard it heard it in my womb!!😂
So glad you’ve discovered Three Dog Night! Some of us do understand that there is still some good music being produced today. We’re just frustrated and astonished that so many people younger than us don’t even know about the amazing music we grew up with. As you seem to be starting to understand, the competition for radio airplay was intense in the late sixties and early seventies. You had to be really good or really lucky (or both) to make it as a musician. I think musicians inspired each other to raise their level of excellence. I honestly think that if today’s musicians were to discover some of the older music they might also be inspired to raise their game. Back to Three Dog Night. As you can see, they had three incredible singers, each of whom sang the lead on some songs. That gave them a lot of flexibility in their music. My favorites are “Joy to the World” (not the Christmas carol) and “Never Been to Spain”.
I'be watched probably 13 reaction videos in the past 12 hours currently on my favorite song by Three Dog Night, a great group from the '60s and '70s. I am so happy that you chose the '69 version rather than the 1975 live concert version. This one encapsulates and really is the version that made it famous! The live concert while it's good it's very drawn out and a bit excessive for me. Great reaction btw!❤
Back in those days everybody had music appreciation, vocal and instrumental music in public school. If a student didn't turn out to be a performer at lrast they could recognizr good ones and have a better appreciation for their talent and hard work. The young people of today have been ripped off and dumbed down by deteriorating public education. Thank you for showing this!
Please react to the band BOSTON. Their first album was the best album of 1976. Every song on the album was a big hit. More Than a Feeling Foreplay/ Long Time Peace Of Mind Rock and Roll Band Hitch A Ride

You dont know about Three Dog Night. This band is bad ass!!!!!
Back then musicians were real, no audio tricks. There was a great fusion of every type of music. Funk, rock, soul, and jazz. And everyone enjoyed it.
Yeah, these guys could really sing. Thanks for sharing this one.

Like the soul....listen to them do, try alittle tenderness
That's why we say the music was better in the 70s.
Watch the 1975 Eli’s Coming.
Most of today's music sucks and it's not your fault. What we hear now is just corporate crap mass produced to push out cheaply and in volume.
yeah, they just looking for the new thing everyday
Listen to some Greta Van Fleet. You won't regret it. And it will give you faith in the new generation.
