She really ist my favourite singer. But for the last 4 songs of R. Strauss I think she is too young and has not enough experience. Till today the best recording of the 4 last Strauss-Songs is that with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. But this fact makes Asmik Grigorian a little bit more "human". Otherwise she would have been too perfect in her young years.What then could the next years bring?!!
I agree. She is almost too perfect as a singer-actress-dancer. These songs transcend technique. They must be full of wisdom, heart and experience.

@@linusia77 Sad that this was not to your liking, BUT this was done and WELL done for those of us with ears to hear. Your "should not have been done" pronouncement was unnecessary, misplaced and just WRONG.
It's not perfect, but what is it worth singing this incredible masterpiece on the stage of an empty hall, no one to listen to you?
