I feel like, at least from my experience, "Cringe culture is dead" is usually used in the context of hyperpop, vocaloid, bright colors, and scene fashion. In that context, yeah, people now are less likely to be cyberbullied because they express themselves like that. On the other hand, cringe culture in general isn't dead and people are still being bullied and harrassed over it, and that needs to stop. Youth need a place to express themselves, and calling them cringe is just subtracting from their already relatively small spaces. Just stop being a jerk to minors- it's that easy.

I am here as the very proud cringe culture enjoyer. I love cringe. It's funny it's usually harmless and I don't go out of my way to harass people because they're cringe. I'm not that miserable. But I very much cherish the cringe culture in my heart.

I found this video immediately after making my ocs (and selfsonas 😭) on Gacha Life 2. I literally don’t care what cringe things people do, like it makes them happy. I personally enjoy seeing “cringe” compilations. Not to laugh, but because those people in the videos are just enjoying their lives. I wish that kind of stuff wasn’t stigmatized so much.

I completely agree with all the points in this video! I also noticed that some forms of "cringe" are more accepted than others. Scene and emo styles are trending on social media and more accepted now, even though the same people who hopped onto them would call them "cringe" a few months ago. Also emoticons, ones like :3 or >_< are viewed as cute and silly, but ones like UwU or QwQ are deemed as cringe still. They're the same thing, but one happens to be trending on TikTok right now. People say "Cringe culture is dead", but they only normalize the "cringe" they want to.

This is a great point! Scene and other alternate styles/music have become more mainstream in recent years !

Heres the thing abt cringe culture, the only way (at least from what i seen)is that you have to do those things ironically to not be considered cringe, (POV: The alt kids see you at lunch, barking to make fun of furries for example) basically being self aware that what ur doing is cringe. And let's be real....poeple like that are probably so much more miserable then people who are in the "cringe" type catagory. People love to bring down other people cause they get uncomfortable and upset when they see people be proud of their hobbies
iches. I'm considered a "cringe kid" at my school and let me tell you , the "normal kids" at my school all talk shit and make fun of each other behind each others backs. New drama, daily shit talk sessions that are not even done privately , you name it.....thats not saying all preps and "normal" kids are like that, I met people in the "normal" cagatory and there were absolute sweethearts. I'm just sayin that some people love to glorify bulliying to hide the face that they are not happy with themselves. Misery loves company as they say. Best we can do is live our lifes the way we want to and not let others ditcate how we live.

It’s kinda funny how everyone likes cringe culture until they realize something they do is considered cringe like when they see someone dressed like them get called cringe for not being basic or see a person who’s trans/gay like them get called cringe for not being straight or a fat person doing something and they’re fat thenn it’s not okay for them anymore like it’s not making fun of every group of people who aren’t considered normal

the reason they attack the queers/nerodivergents even though they can ignore them is to flex the fact that their not as "weird" as them. it gives them aura

This was a really interesting watch! Thank you for putting some light on cringe culture so other people can see how it affects people! Ngl I don't see why people keep hating on others just because they find them "cringe". Just let them do what they want! They're not hurting you!

Every single human being is cringe in their own way. Like literally half of or if not ALL of the cringe comps are full of kids. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON INSTAGRAM CRINGE ACCOUNTS. It doesn't matter if your cringe as long as your not hurting others or yourself!! 🎀
