Y&T is my all-time favorite band, and Dave Meniketti is by far my favorite musician. I had the good fortune of growing up in Central California, where Y&T played regularly during my youth. I have seen Y&T live over 30 times, and I have also had the great pleasure of meeting Dave on several occasions. Dave is not only a super talented musician, he is also a genuinely nice guy. Dave and Sammy Hagar are two great mysicians that have managed to still keep rockin' long after many other musicians from their heyday should have retired. Dave Meniketti is the reason I picked up the guitar at 10 years old, and I am still playing faithfully 45 years later. I hope Dave can keep on rockin' many years into the future. The world just won't be the same without his amazing voice and excelletnt guitar playing. I am Hoping to go see Y&T at the Warnors Theater in Fresno, CA, in March 2024, one more time. rock and roll hall of fame is just a name now,i heard they are going to change it,since there is not much rock and roll being nominated and its going to be called,(anybody so called music hall of shame)!!!

So freaking awesome!!! First concert I ever went to opening of the Mean Streak tour in like 1982 at Great America amusement park in California! We walked around all day with our Y&T concert muscle shirts on all day! Black Tiger, Summer Time Girl, Winds of Change... this band is heroic to me. Thank you Y&T!
Just saw them in Santa Cruz. Absolutely phenomenal musicianship!! The energy was off the hook. There is still hope for the world with Rockers like this!!!

Dave is an ambassador to the music world. Probably one of the nicest rock "stars" out there... Humble man..that knows where he came from. Close to 70.. And still rocking the rafters.. All American Rock legend..
Dave's got it all! He's so talented, so inspired, a great voice and the most important thing to me is his feeling as a musician. There areno tricks, everything is coming out of him. A true legend 🤟

How in hell did you record all those signature K! enunciation sounds on the end of the word Streak (and others)? It's really cool and a lot of fun to sing along to!
