I've shot guns all my life, but never had actual training. This has really opened my eyes to all the ins and outs of the training you can apply to firearms. Thank you
@Nathaniel Shrock Getting gun classes isn't absolutely necessary to train firearms proficiency (you should probably get one once a year), T.REX ARMS has a lot of really good videos on how to train at home (dry fire, airsoft), and on your own at a shooting range (either a private one or one where boomer fudd RSOs aren't riding your backdoor for shooting more than one round a minute or practicing drawing from concealment and shooting, although even in shooting ranges like that you can still practice _some_ skills). There are other guntubers that also give solid advice on firearms handling and related stuff, Matt primarily does just entertainment videos with little to no real world application value, except maybe, the "how bulletproof is x" video series.

For some sad reason, he will not address the attack on firearms on this channel. His reach is the biggest in the community and he never brings any of it up
Fun fact: the Sand Viper and the newer Pit Viper each have a custom-made frame with "fangs" near the end of the rail. Basically, there are two extremely sharp points that are used as a standoff device if the gun runs dry for use in hand-to-hand CQB.
Quick side note: leaving mags loaded doesn't help loosen them up. Springs only wear out by compressing and decompressing, not by remaining in a state of constant compression or decompression. This is why you're able to keep magazines loaded for years at a time and the springs act the same way as when you initially loaded them. If you want to loosen those mags, gotta work that spring multiple times.
@@Samsungsmartcooker That’s called the “appeal to authority” logical fallacy. How do you know this guy isn’t a mechanical engineer with 20years of designing springs for Associated Spring?
when i was a CMT(Combat Marksmanship Trainer) for the Marine Corps, bringing the weapon from the holster up into your workspace and then punching out like how he was saying wwas what i taught as well. he called it scooping but we called it bowling. its interesting the different terms between different instructors. but that class seems like it would be a helluva lot of fun and its always good to learn something.
This was good stuff. It actually helped me with my draw and finding the sight as well. I was also bringing it up in front and doing the whole "where is it" thing. He showed me how to put it in line with my eye and that took time off of finding the sight. I'm no comp shooter but time off anywhere is faster all around. And that gun looks 🔥🔥🔥

This is my favorite dr video although I like them all, in this video I confirmed I was properly challenging myself and also learned how to properly draw and find sights on target far more efficiently. Would love to see more vids like this and of kct training programs. Thank you for what you do Matt and "team" and making this content possible. Sincerely, Vermonster
Oh wow, didn't know Demoranch was so inexperienced with red dot sights, glad to see he got some proper training and tips for how to see with one, it's nice watching our good mad lad grow, very wholesome video
Would love to have seen Tom shoot the TT 2011 and get his reaction/impression. I would also love to see Tom on your range shooting a course with something he isnt comfortable with.
Be cool to see him browse the bunker and pick some interesting stuff then send it at the ranch
Matt… you Sir have done more for the beginning shooters/gun owners than most people on the internet.
THANK YOU 🙏🏻
How? When there are literal trainers on TH-cam that teach for a living.
@@ja0298 Getting people into guns and wanting to learn more is the first step. People don't just wake up one day wanting to learn shooting tactics if they don't already have an interest in firearms.
I remember watching you and your brother from the very first videos and it is insane to see how far you’ve come professionally, successfully, tactically, and all the other “lly’s”! Proof that hard work pays off! God truly blessed you! Happy to see it all happen and grateful to have been able to watch it all unfold into one of the greatest TH-cam channels! Thank you Matt and Family!!! Shaka brah 🤙🏽
This is good content. I know your audience is younger, but it's also good to show stuff like this. Shooting for drills, and maybe even talking a little 2a advocacy every once in a while. It could go a long way helping
Yeah, glad to see him sharing the importance of training and skill development.
I agree with that 👍
I agree especially with the 2a advocacy. We need to talk more about it in general I think.
For some sad reason, he will not address the attack on firearms on this channel. His reach is the biggest in the community and he never brings any of it up
@@LibertySpam because he’s smart and talking politics is bad for business in this style of channel and his age demographic across both channels
Absolutely would love to see more training videos. Very informative.
Great video, loved this style! Although, amazing to see a $7k gun fail to eject at 2:58 😛
good eye, missed it the first time round!
I retract my reply ig I was wrong
@@Samsungsmartcooker ah yes, because physics work different for famous people...
leaving the rounds in my p365 did something to make it easier
@@Samsungsmartcooker Not even anime, my dude.
@@Samsungsmartcooker That’s called the “appeal to authority” logical fallacy. How do you know this guy isn’t a mechanical engineer with 20years of designing springs for Associated Spring?
Loved this, Matt! Training vids are always great, we can learn a lot even though we're not there with ya.
I really enjoyed this. It's fun to learn from some one in a class and you keep lighthearted as well which keeps it fun. Great video!
when i was a CMT(Combat Marksmanship Trainer) for the Marine Corps, bringing the weapon from the holster up into your workspace and then punching out like how he was saying wwas what i taught as well. he called it scooping but we called it bowling. its interesting the different terms between different instructors. but that class seems like it would be a helluva lot of fun and its always good to learn something.
I really enjoyed the content of this video. Having continued training and practicing I think should go hand in hand with choosing to conceal and carry a firearm. I picked a few pointers from this that I am going to include in my own practice. I feel like this could be a very helpful for a lot of people I hope you continue with it. Thanks for the great video!
i definitely want to see more content like this, always good to mix it up a little bit
Definitely want to see more
Nailed it matt! Definitely want to see you do more of these training videos, shows off your skill basis more
Would love to see more vids like these. Training like that teaches you so much, and its a blast.
Brilliant video, really enjoyed it. Great to see that a person that has sent so many rounds down range, can still learn and be willing to learn.
The KCT guy is nailing his teaching skills.
Love this Content its nice to see something off from the Ranch
Hell yes more of this and his classes. I'll be looking forward to running this class in the future.
I love your content keep up the good work👍🏼
That was fun to watch. He seems like a good teacher.
i wanna see you go through timed tactical simulation courses like the one Keanu Reeves did to practice for John Wick🔫
EVEN THE PPL THAT COMPETE REGULALRY TRICK OUT GLOCK 34S OVER ANYTHING ELSE! BUY GLOCK. SAVE THAT MONEY FOR A BENELLI M3
@@NoMMAdd_Soap nobody asked
@@NoMMAdd_Soap Pretty sure they do that because setting it down it doesn't have a manual safety to forget? auto DQ. Someone correct me if im wrong
@Shimakaze f. Your right no one asked what I would do with that 7k. But that doesn't keep me from expressing my freedom of speech. Thank you for expressing your freedom of speech. It's wonderful 😊.
@PATRICK FROM ATLANTA I can't form an opinion on this as myself being a avid Glock 34 and Glock 40 fan have never shot on a competitive level outside of the Army training grounds. And I guess you can blame the Army for my Glock Fandom while my first service pistol was the heavy Baretta 92fs I later was able to carry a Glock 19.
Do more of the tactical course training. It was very entertaining. Also keep your traditional videos as well
I really enjoyed this episode..
I'd love to see more things that focus on tactics or even just how to become a better shot in different types of circumstances...
It would honestly be really cool to do a running series and have some different trainers and knowledgeable people come on and do episodes that center around such topics.... For instance, I've gone on a binge of watching Lena Miculek videos where she's really talking about becoming a better shot and different ways to train.
That was awesome I absolutely love training videos because it doesn't matter how long or how much you shoot you can always get better and learn new tactics so I definitely liked it 👍🏼
That snake storm cut scene was A+ lmao
Damn!!! That is the most beautiful thing I have seen this month!
Also I would love to see some heli training
He should just do a collab with Pork Choppers.
definatly would love to see more of this kind of video especially with more types of firearms
Do this weekly. Stick with Kilo as well, learn everything you can. Loved this content, not ashamed to say more than most.
Great video as always!! Really enjoy seeing the training content. Keep it coming!
Yes ! More videos like this Matt !
I love that demo and kentucky r coming out with so many vids lately
Love the content. I've always wanted to take a class like this but just settle for shooting paper at the house. I definitely need to invest in some steel targets. Your skill and adaptation to new training techniques is amazing, looks like you picked it up quickly even going against your previous training. Love seeing this and learning from it.
I just bought a 6" rifle-rated steel target on amazon for like $30: with free shipping, you can't beat that with a stick!
@@tedley70 You can literally beat that with a stick...... just go outside, pick a stick up, and start beating your steel target.
Loved this video. Looking to get a pistol and seeing how these tactics are preformed will help me feel more comfortable when I take my first class or learn to shot
The combination of a new and interesting firearm mixed with new and interesting scenarios for you and us, really made it a great video. Would love to see more of these throughout the year.
AWESOME content Matt!!! I've always wished you were a little more "tactical". I shoot competition but I cut my teeth with defensive/tactical shooting. I would love to see more! PLEASE do a carbine course!
Ya this was cool! And it’s actually good training for real situations and he definitely knows his stuff.
I thought it was a torture test for a second. Got light headed😄
been watching since you were still doing home-made slugs/shotgun rounds, i love your quirky demo ranch videos, but also watching you being properly trained was quite enjoyable too!! keep em comin
This was my favorite episode so far. A lot of learning and fun, please do more. Helicopter class would be awesome.
Scam
This was AWSOMEEEE!!!!
I would love to see more videos like this.
The drawing and lining up the site as you push out was some good advice. Need more little things like that. Great video. 😎👍👍
