  • This video shows you the solar power system that I installed at the Shed/Mini Cabin in the Mountains of West Virginia. I talk about the different components that I used for this small solar power system.

"HIIIIII!" (As we travel through the same mountains on a scenic drive.) Someday, we may need to take advantage of such a setup. My father-in-law's family owns such a cabin in Clay County.

Nice setup doing the same thing be careful with those agm batteries they are quite temperamental going to switch to 6 volt batteries flooded ditching the agm they pack more amp hours then 12 volt do those panels adjust for angles have 3 Trina 315 watt panels and a 60 amp charge controller powering fridge freezer TV fire stick and a echo looking forward to more videos

You're going to need a lot more panels and battery capacity to take advantage of that charge controller lol. I've got 1000 in panels and 6 12v batteries wired in 24 volts. I'm adding another 1500 watts of panels. And still won't use my 2000 watt inverter. But, a great start!

Yeah I plan on expanding the number of panels and adding more battery storage. I knew when I bought the inverter that I would never need that much power. The Charge controller is a 20 amp . Which I may need to upgrade at some point but for now its sufficient.
