I'm calling it now, in the long-term, this will turn out being one of the most useful and important videos for content creators and enthusiasts. Thank you for uploading.
What an excellent video. As a photoshop user spending money on various hardware improvements and being disappointed at times, this has been a great explanation of the why. Thank you.
I haven't built fully new system from the ground up for about 8 years and haven't upgraded it in about 5. I just recently got back into wanting to know more so i can do a fully new build hopefully in 2024. I'm about to dive back into my creative side. I'm learning A LOT from your channel about what's out here today to work with. Even a "mid range" system would blow what I have out of the water for the creative work that I would do.
Something to also consider is when working with AI Gen Fill, the response is also based on the quality of internet you have. It is easy to assume everyone has access to high speed internet but there are a lot who don't. :D This impacts the time to AI gen fill.
Which one would you recommend? Applications- Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects, DaVinci Studio (No Gaming) Budget- $3000/- Option 1- i7 14700K + RTX 4070 + 64gb ram + 1TB nvme (Noctua NH D15, Z790, 850w, 32 inch qHD monitor) Option 2- MacBook Pro M3 (16inch, 12 Core CPU, 18 Core GPU, 36GB RAM, 1TB SSD) I work usually late at night and the fan noise on my current PC is much noticeable during those hours. I also found that editing on my IPad Pro 11 using LumaFusion was much more comfortable at Night. Considering the Mac but not sure if 36GB would be enough for making music videos as the need for After Effects arises often.
Just upgraded my Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 from its default 16GB RAM to 64GM and my Cinebench scores goes from 14727 to 21587. Everything goes much faster now. Vegas user here lol, though I am trying to look at Resolve...
The new AI denoise in LRC is kicking my 1080Ti's butt. It's really good, but running a batch of 200 raws with adjustments through it sends my GPU to 99% utilisation for 2 hours or so. Q1 upgrade I hope.
what about Affinity? A lot of people are their products now for photo editing, graphic artwork and vector graphics. Is there anything for these because I use both Adobe and Affinity products for graphics production.
hi, can you please suggest for GPU processor 13500 MB asus B660 ddr4 Ram 3200mhz 32gb air cooler PSU Corsair VS600 80 Plus GPU currently using K2200 from my previous build, want to upgrade for DaVinci (for max 4K & 15 mins videos for YT) & Solidworks with moderate use, is 4060 8gb ok ?? and Zotac for 3+2 y warranty or gigabyte for 3 fans (both are bit similar at pricing in India
Would LOVE to see how NON Adobe Photo editing softwares would benchmark, Like Luminar, or other non cloudbased payment supporting apps..That would be pioneering!
First time I watch a 2 hours video without skipping 😂 I have a question though. I have a gtx 1650 (4gb) gpu and photoshop runs smoothly with hardware acceleration but lightroom is pretty slow with gpu acceleration enabled. You think an 8GB gpu would make a difference or is the acceleration on lightroom still not that reliable? Both softwares are the latest version. Thank you in advance 🙏
we DEFFF need to know how playing TH-cam WHILE using Phsop or LRc is effected, as THAT is how we work. Usually have 20+ tabs open on a browser along with LRc and Pshop

Only 5k views and 200 likes on the 4th day. Such an underestimated video…
Thanks for such useful and unique content Lauri.
I appreciate that!
This is massive; thanks for putting it together.

I’ve been needing a better podcast to listen! Enjoyed the discussion on PC parts. That is my jam!
I love these Windows 11 OEM keys. They were just the same, are fully legit and cost a fraction of the price. Thanks

So is it actually better to convert your h.264 codec into raw for better performance in editing for example?
Who keys is super awesome, Loved it!

For video editors is Intel

This video is great! I wonder if how long it is and how many programs it touches is preventing people from watching.

Very interesting 👌
Glad you think so!
Its nice to know how CS6 desktop version performs. That would be a nice benchmark to have. License still goes for $400+ for legit copy.
great content
Respect to thses guys! I want to know if team blue, green or red has offered to buy this test.
Please stop calling Vegas Sony Vegas. It hasn't been Sony based for years.
Sry. We should thank you first for this content and great job you are doing.
