I have the arrows bigfoot. It's an awesome plane. And the customer service is on its own platform. Horizon hobby customer service is good. But these guys go above and beyond. And when you call them you actually get to speak with someone. And they are polite, respectful and full of knowledge. They back their products 200%.

I got mine and maidened it the other day, mind you this is my very first airplane! It was great to fly, it took right off and was easy to control. I do need to work on my landing skills lol. I lost the prop on my first landing attempt, but it was do to my inexperiance, but there was no other damage on that hard landing. New props should be here today and I can't wait to go fly again. Very happy with the purchase, expecially happy because of the price!
This is a good deal. Add the $12.00 Vector Flight Control along with a Spektrum AR620 receiver or just the Spektrum AR630 receiver and you've got yourself an outstanding trainer. However, I'd agree that if you're OK with the looks (and a screaming motor) the AeroScout is a better choice.

I picked one up and it’s was my first big plane. Flies really good. Dan is a really good guy from hobby zone took care of me when I had a small issue. It really flies graceful when just cruising.

Nate, really enjoy your content. Your vocal cadence and tone is great! Because of you, Ive got 2 planes. Right now they're just bottom of the barrel two channel just to get a grip on things before I jump into an EDF jet. It's sad that the habu STS no longer comes with the real flight or the USB dongle or the battery or charger. I did recently purchase my first transmitter a Spectrum DX 6i but now I'm starting to think I should have went with a DX8. I did reach out to some vendors to try to become an affiliate and not only help promote the retail shops in mom and pop shops and the aircraft they carry, but wanted to do what you do and showcase the different models and try to get people in my area more interested in this hobby because I think it is an amazing one. I plan on getting either the habu 50 mm with safe and ASX3 for a trainer jet. I bought a receiver that also came with a satellite but I'm not sure if it will work in the habu or if I need to get the DSMX 2 or DSMX I think that's what they were called. Any information, tips, or advice you can give me as far as possible ways of finding used in newer condition aircraft that I may be able to purchase or send me in the direction of a forum or a group that I could join to learn more would be greatly appreciated. My TH-cam channels motto is " fly fast, fly fun, go out and get you one. " On this topic any advice for creating a TH-cam channel would be helpful as well. I will continue to point people to your page so they can view your content. I wish you the wife and the new baby and Popeye all the best and great success in the future. Great price, Arrows makes some good planes and this is a perfect trainer for newer pilots. This plane not having flaps makes it better for new pilots it's one less thing to worry about and it looks like it slows down nicely. I got an Aeroscout for my first plane and it was good to learn on but they aren't that durable, if the Trekker is of the same quality as the Bigfoot it's built much better.
Looks like a nice plane. If I was in the US, I would certainly buy one!! But with the duty, taxes and international shipping, it would probably double the cost of the plane. But I do agree with you at $180 for a ready to fly is an amazing deal!

Okay, you talked me into it. I have been a subscriber of your channel for almost two years now. I finally broke down yesterday and bought this plane for my birthday next month based solely on your recommendation. This is my first step into the world of r/c flying. Can you tell me which of your many TH-cam videos I should watch as a newbie pilot? Thank you.
Lloyd I might get some flak for this comment but it definitely helped me get into the hobby. I ran Spektrum AR630 receivers on my first planes (I use a Spektrum NX6 controller). This allowed me to setup SAFE (which makes flying a breeze). It takes a bit of looking to figure out how to setup your own receiver but its well worth it (link below about SAFE setup). The Salyors explain safe on a bunch of other videos. It basically makes it so the plane wont flip upside down and it returns the plane back to neutral position when you let go of the sticks. You can fly it up high and then practice turning off SAFE and trying to fly normal, then flip it back into SAFE as the plane goes out of control for an almost instantaneous recovery = ) Also RealFlight Evolution (flight simulator) was a life saver. Its crazy how realistic the planes fly in the simulator and you can test safe on/safe off (on planes that have it). Sorry that's a ton of info. I just ordered one of these yesterday because of this video as well and I'm excited to try it out.

I have a medium/large yard about the size of a soccer field, I have places to fly with a lot more space but I have to drive there. I was wondering if you think I should invest in the aeroscout, aeroscout mini, big foot, or this plane. I'd much rather drive to fly if the experience and price is worth it. My friend flies one of these and he has had a 35 min flight with his Trekker and none of my planes come near it for flight time the best I have is a Arrows Bigfoot with 10min flights

Doesn't matter to me anymore. As of last year I've become a spectator pilot ( RC & full-scale ). Unfortunately I suffered a cerebral stroke which has resulted in my left-side being partially paralyzed and/or weak. 😢 Even Covid-19 is suspect as a possible cause. 😮

To be 100% honest, I don’t know! 😬 I’ve never even thought about that with Arrows RTF planes. I’d be willing to be their customer service would know, though. They are pretty amazing about supporting their products 👍😎⚓️
I guess they're having website difficulties. I can't even register for an account. Which means I can't put the plane on my wishlist.
And, with it being out of stock, you can't put it in your cart to purchase and wait for it to come back in stock. I seriously want to get a trainer and teach myself how to fly these rigs. This looks like the route I would love to take but being out of stock and, therefore, not being able to pay for it anyway is making it hard to use your link and help your channel out. Oh well... Another good trainer is the apprentice from horizon hobby
He's right, get an Apprentice from Horizon Hobby AND get a Real Flight Trainer simulator....it will save you hundreds of dollars in planes and let you preview how most any plane you'll want to buy in the future by flying it first. Even fly the Apprentice for many hours before actually flying it for real.

I was going to get the Arrows Husky for a first plane based on your video. Is the Husky harder to fly, will it come with safe mode? I love your channel, but it drives my wife crazy when she sees me watching?
Haha, tell your wife my wife flies too and fully approves the hobby!! Maybe she will like it more knowing Abby needs more women in the hobby, but to answer your question the Husky is an awesome airplane! It does not come ready to fly though, so you’ll need a controller and a couple other things like a battery and charger to get going. However, bigger is generally easier! I don’t want my comment to get confusing in any way, so if you need a couple solid recommendations for a first airplane, just say the word! We’ve got your back in more ways than one here on our channel, haha!! 👍💯😎⚓️

As a beginner in aircraft you said its a good beginner plane. But does I have safe? Or if you get into trouble it saves you? Also on them I know you said some has a safe land also? Does that kinda land on it own so you don't crash. Sorry but I haven't flown since I was like 10 and I'm 42 now lol. Just kinda looking for plane and something that will be easy to learn on. Safe is the fence so it flaps wings and turns back around also right? Sorry for all the questions but I know your awesome and take the time to answer new guys like myself ❤

Is HobbyZone out of business? Ordered and never got the Trekker. Can't lookup my order number on the current HobbyZone website and I no longer have an account on the website.
I can’t say with certainty, but we believe they sold the business. I have no idea why, but I believe shortly after this collaboration we did with them, they bailed. I thought they were good people, and just hope I’m wrong about this. But we also haven’t heard from them basically as soon as this promotion was over. Through the recent years they were great!
