I got about 90 hours on my Yamaha Raptor 700R didn't do nothing other than Brakes and Tires in the back I'm nervous about the Can-Am I want to get something different because I'm 42 years old but I need something reliable those bikes are so expensive if I'm going to Fork over the money I need a reliability I had a Honda 700xx before that that was freaking great but they discontinue that model that's how I got stuck with the Raptor 700R I do love it
That's a bummer . I really want to get one but have been sceptical of maintenance issues . I have '12 brute 750 it has around 1200 miles on it. No issues yet and I beat the bag out of it mercilessly. I really want just a little more power but want it to still be reliable. I don't ride in mud though . I wonder if that is the cause of most of the issues people are having. Do you do a lot of mudding?
Sweet can am lots of power I gotta 2017 Honda rubicon 800 miles since I got it in November last year 29.50 outlaw 2s ole boy I hangout with keeps up with his can am 1000 xmr he’s gotta fear reduction and a tuned yoshmira exhaust on his with 32 inch terms he blew apart his clutch shot out the belt cover first few minutes of ridin and set his on fire when the transmission line touched the engine 😂😂when he got it they are beast fourwheelers lots of power leads to some problems though but hey my Honda barely pulls my outlaw 2s every wheeler has flaws
Curtis Ivy man I wish I could bud I’d have to get a GoPro and honestly have no clue how to edit my videos or anything I use my phone to record all my vids I’ve made so far lol 😂😂 but I have put it in clay mud up to the tailpipe and she crawled outve the hole when I say crawl literally a turtle crawl 😂😂😂😂😂 hahah usually I don’t go muddin a bunch prolly went maybe twice pretty much all I ride in is a gravel pit that like excavators dig in they got huge ass sand hills and we have no service there and usually don’t have our phones with us but if I do end up with mine on me if I can remember to bring it I’ll video some stuff buddy love your can am and I checked out your videos great content personally I think it is! Definitely earned my sub to you bud I’m thinkin about goin to burdens creek here in Mississippi if I end up going I’ll definitely be videoing!
Curtis Ivy hell Yeah man I’ve never rode in skeg I wish we had it here😫😂definitely need to do a video of it rippin in some holes! Love the way them 1000s sound they pretty much sound like a straight piped truck bad ass mane I was gonna get the 570 renegade xmr but backed out of it I kinda wish I would’ve got one I rode dirt bikes back in the day and was use to shit tons of power my hondy just doesn’t give me that kick in the ass power is here feelin 😂
Curtis Ivy I hear that man my dad had a Yamaha warrior when I was a kid it was bad at the time but compared to the ATVs now it would have no chance 😂😂 what’s the top speed on your 1000?? My cousin has a outlander 850xmr just got it when I got mine his will do 75 maxed out engine being stock I wanted to see if there’s a very big top speed difference
Thinking about gettin a 4x4 can you recomend me one i just dont want any issues new to the 4X4 world have a raptor 700 2016 pls help me not below 850cc thanks
Jesus difs are in hard shape bud lol I have the same but in the 570 1100k no issues yet, mud and wheels make after market difs for these bikes that are bullet proof
Cat Jack yeah I will be getting a mud n wheels in the future. I'm gonna try and nurse this one as long as possible so I'm gonna try seals first and prey for the best. I have a few other things I have to do to it before summer. My throttle snapped and my fan is toast.
Curtis Ivy my buddy had his throttle snap on his 650xmr and stick wide open it hit a tree major damage got er back to normal again now. Hope things look up for ya
Curtis Ivy I like it so far I had a few Honda’s a couple Polaris recently I had a 570 sportsman and it was a complete piece of shit I had 900k on it busted difs and 6 broken axels it was the pearl black limited edition I traded it in on the 570 xmr and couldn’t be more happy it’s got good power mind you your baby would have a lot more snap but it has enough for me I plan on doin a few more upgrades I currently have inch wheel spacers, 2” rox bar riser, yoshimuria exhaust, and the wild boar rear rack. Goin to get arched control arms and a Dulton clutch kit by spring.
