For the baked potato eggs, I wonder if pre-baking the potatoes, then scooping out the center, filling with the egg mixture, then popping in the oven again would work better? Kind of like twice-baked potatoes.

Do you ever use Spectrum vegetable shortening for frosting or baking like pie crust? I think it is supposed to be not hydrogenated but wondering what you think of Spectrum since you do food and product reviews or if you have an opinion. I like iced coffees and will use eggnog milks or chocolate milks or other creamy concoctions with my coffee. Strata looks yummy.

eggnog with no alcohol is a waste of calories. You better go skiing or shoveling snow alll day long in order to feel like it's worhty it. I loved it growing up in Brazil ( Rio Grande do Sul, the most southern state of Brazil) "cause temperatures went waaay below zero C and we have had no insulation or heat system. Fireplaces and propane heaters everywhere.... I was having cognac in my eggnog at age 6???? damn European Heritage....🤣🤣🤣

Baked the potatoes alone about 20 minutes and then add just egg and cook 20 minutes more. Potatoes need at least 40 minutes to fully cook!
