After reading into it, the boy was with his father, the boy found the bag of cash and deposit slips but the father called in the police to turn in the bag. They both recieved the award. Good for the dad for teaching his kid moral standards though. If the kid found it by himself alone I am sure his parents would have forced him to give it back.

7:00 reminded me of that time when I was 8 I repelled out of the 2nd story window with nothing but my bare hands and an ace bandage. My parents weren't home and my older siblings were watching some incredibly boring political stuff so my little sister and I went upstairs to our room where we soon got bored of playing with lincoln logs so we grabbed an ace bandage from the first aid kit and tied one end to our bunkbed and threw the other end out the window. We took turns dangling out the window and pulling each other back up. (We didn't actually go to the ground level because 8 year old me had trash upper body strength) Then I decided to go outside and try climbing UP to the window but that's when my older sister saw the bandage from the 1st floor window and slammed open the front door and demanding to know what I was doing so I panicked and ran. It's a large property with plenty of hiding places so when I heard all 4 of my sisters(including my accomplice)run past and look in another place I ran back to the house and hid in the bathroom. My sisters saw me run to the house and into the bathroom but I slammed the door shut just as they got there. (I'm sobbing at this point) As they're trying to break the door down I hear my little sister(backstabbing little brat)saying things like "It's okay!" "You can come out" "You don't have to cry" "Let US in" "You're not in trouble" As if she wasn't helping me repel out the window 5 minutes ago! I don't actually remember what happened next but I don't think I ever officially got in any trouble and my mom didn't even know it happened until a few years later when I was retelling the story. And that's when everybody learned that my little sister WAS involved. TL;DR I repelled out the second story window with an ace bandage and got backstabbed by my accomplice.
