Pai *is* so very special! She did this in a few hours - asked fans on Instagram what song she should cover, then came back a few hours later and posted this. That's why the "YES!" at the end, since she nailed it.
The Yes at the end and the look on her face because she knew she nailed it was absolutely priceless!
The Warning masterfully navigated the Pandemic with how they interacted with fans, did free streaming shows from The Warning Cave and then the Danny Day, Pau Day, and Ale Days were just brilliant. They even played games with each other and with some fans on Twitch. They really let us get to know them. No pretenses no PR spin. Just who they are as amazing young ladies and amazing artists. We got to watch them grow over the last two years so much and now they are killing it even more than before. These young ladies aren't just badasses on stage. They are amazing humans.
Drums, check. Piano, check. Pau is a rock star!

Pau's talent is gigantic. She is a very special person, artist, drummer and song writer.
Her sisters Dany and Ale are also overwhelmingly talented.
Their third album is coming and will be a sonic tsunami.

She's also the producer of their live shows. She sets everything up in the software on the laptop she has attached to her drum kit. She learned how to program the software herself. She had it for the entire tour of Queen of the Murder Scene. It's just crazy how much these young ladies really put into what they give us fans.

For a different look at Pau's talent, there's a video of her playing a drum cover of a Kelly Clarkson song, at the age of *10*! So impressive! Great job, guys!
That blew me away!
Just like Ginger,for years,Haley Reinhardt and The Post Modern Jukebox had done the greatest cover of "Creep",but Haley had a full band behind her,and this was until last year during lockdown,when Pau posted this,and my jaw just dropped ! Pau at the piano,all by herself - I had goosebumps,because her delivery was "so very special" (sorry,had to throw that in). Just the way Pau can go one minute from a demure childlike quality in her delivery,to that great raspy voice,to the way she could belt out that chorus - it was all so perfect - and her little surprise at the end was the icing on the cake.
I think Brian Justin Crum did the best cover ever of this song on AGT, but Pau did the best cover of it doing it the way she did it for the fans. Pau and Danny just love interacting with their fans. THey are so genuine. Ale is really coming around too, not that she doesn't like it but she's always been a bit more shy but she's coming into her own as who she is and that's letting her be more comfortable.

When Pau posted this to TH-cam I was like 'Great! I love that song!' I too have heard several covers over the yrs. Some pretty good, others, not so much. But Pau... the ever evolving powerhouse...just blew me away. 1st off, she's on an upright, which has very limited sound quality. 2ndly, she's recording it on a cell phone all in 1 afternoon by herself. But she owns this song now and she knows it, hence the "YES" at the end. You cannot just listen to it once....

This is a haunting rendition of Creep, doesn't it give you the chills it does me. The Warning are a 3 girl group that are not to be under estimated with, there skills and abilities are just amazing. You owe it to your selves to watch more as most of that are originals.

Great reaction. This is not just the best cover, I like it even more than the original. It's her song now. After 23 seconds into the video I always get chills down the spine. Extremely well performed.

This song isn't my favorite (my wife loves the song and was extremely impressed), but that was without question a tour de force. They are definitely *not* concerned with maintaining some image of musical perfection. But that actually makes them all the more impressive as musicians -- and as people. It's not every top musician who will sit down and publicly play something practically off the cuff like this, not to mention do it so well.

@@johnafagerquist8235 Yep, hearing you 100%. Their are some bands who write great songs, but I prefer the delivery of them being covered by other artists. Radiohead and The Grateful Dead are 2 such bands, and Pau did a remarkable job on this 👌

It's not The Warning but it' s close. I loved this cover but at the risk of being kicked out of the Warning Army, Haley Reinhart's version will always be tops for me.
You're mixing Apples and Oranges when it comes to comparing Haley's version verse Pau's. Haley does a more of a 40s jazz/swing style while Pau is pure piano rock ballad.
@@bradleyp3655 It matters not whether it's comparing apples and oranges when picking a favorite. You merely have to decide if you like apples more than oranges. I did not even say that one was better than the other, only that I preferred the other.
