I'm Mexican, and I'm so proud that these ladies represents us in a big and honored way, stepping aside reggaeton, which is the music has always been mainstream in here. Hope these ladies won't be the only band to show that Rock is NOT dead. Greetings and VIVA THE WARNING!
Drummer Pau:
“Choke is about being so overwhelmed by your feelings that you start to drown on them and choke on them and we really wanted the song to reflect that hopelessness you sometimes feel and just offer it to everyone as a safe place to feel those feelings and just like a place of comfort for them.”
David Bendeth did a great job capturing their actual sound. This is the closest production I have seen to their live sound. He did a great job pushing them to give a real performance, and an equally great job recording and mixing it.
The song is about being overwhelmed by emotions.
10/10 song. They are absolutely amazing. Best band in this Universe. Viva The Warning!

This song and the entire new album has been recorded between september and december of 2020 in New Jersey with the legendary producer David Bendeth.
Viva The Warning!!
Three months in the studio last year with the legendary David Bendeth brings out the best sound from The Warning ladies. This wonderful video was all done in their hometown of Monterrey, Mexico.
The people who, uh, inspired Narcisista should take careful note of that latter point. They could, after all, have chosen to do that at some high end facility in the US, but they elected to do it in their home town in Mexico. The swimmer is Natalia Morales; I'm not sure whether she's from Monterrey, but I'm quite certain she is from Mexico.
Such super talent. I don’t know what happened to me they must have been handing out talent when I wasn’t in the room. They are just dripping with talent. Yes Ginger they have grown up in body and musical maturity. Love them ❤️🤘🇦🇺

My first listen to The Warning, I like it. Straight forward Rock and Roll, and the ladies! Bravo! More woman in Metal, I celebrate them all.
This is from their upcoming 3rd album, so you have a good bit to catch up on if you want, plus they did a lot of covers when they were younger. "Younger" being a relative term, since they are 21, 19, and 16 here.

@@johnmiett6032 You should definitely want to catch up on their older originals. This one's stylistically a bit different from anything they have done before, but they refuse to settle into any one particular groove. Their second full-length album, Queen of the Murder Scene, is variously described as a concept album, a rock novel, or a rock opera. The songs stand on their own; there's no filler for the sake of the story line or the length of the album, but there's a genuine plot to it.

Yup, more mature sound and always every Warning song has surprises. Yet also some very typical Warning techniques. An opening which contrasts sharply is something they love to do. And the split second of complete silence followed by an explosion of sound is vintage Warning, just never before at the end of the song.
This is 21st century rock music , and they are the trailblazers ! Cheers .
Hell no, boy. They're not trailblazers. They're basically reviving the nu metal which rose to prominence in the early 21st century. Their style is similar to bands like Disturbed, Three Days Grace or Papa Roach
@@mrtiesthatbind No that is not correct .Disturbed are a heavy metal band .How many different genres and sub genres of music have they done .The Warning have done many different ones from rock , hard rock , some metal , punk , cheerleader punk , prog rock .What other band does that then ? So therefore they are the trailblazers for a new type of rock music .

There is much out there for you to check out from their backcatalogue, and hopefully soon, more from their upcoming forecatalogue!! A "recent" (January 2020) performance from one of their earlier works you will likely like is "Shattered Heart" live from the Whisky A Go Go. Thank you for reacting to The Warning!!

Nice one guys. I'd just got Dust-To-Dust out of my head as my default earworm and about a week later this came out and totally replaced it. This is obviously a produced video, but there's also a 'raw' video of them playing it live in their rehersal space on the channel called "The Warning Army".
That is actually not on their own channel. Someone excerpted it from the Rolling Live Studio interview session. Definitely worth watching!

In the immortal words of Spinal Tap, they turned it up to 11!!!! Great performance. Their new album is going to be a killer.
The songwriting capabilities of DPA are off the charts. They also possess a great ability to use allegories and words to convey feelings. They are sometimes better when using the English language than bands who have it as their native language. And they don´t sound Mexican at all, they are so real and natural. Their presence is staggering and their charisma is huge. TW captures your attention and demands you to listen more and more. They are pure feelings and one reason i think is due to that they are doing exactly what they want, when they want and how. Dany, Pau and Ale always put on a great performance and it is what rock music needs. TW has graced us with their presence, playing their music. They are not a production, like so many other bands. They say "Hey! We are The Warning from Mexico, we want to play for you (and we don´t care what you think because we like it)" . I´m thinking of Narcisista th-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/w-d-xo.html their first song in Spanish which they wrote because people in Mexico didn´t like them they wrote all their songs in English. It´s so in your face "We don´t care Na na nananana na". The Warning is the greatest thing to hit the music scene in a long long time and they are going to be huge role models for young girls and boys, because they have demonstrated how you go about making it without the record companies changing you into something you are not! Ok, 2 remarkable things in this song, the constant change of rhythm (it's fantastic)and Paulina as a composer, besides being a beast on the drums, it's pure and hard rock!
I love this Song. I'm looking forward to hearing the song live. The girls are among those where such videos feel like foreign body to me. As with any other rock / metal band. I am always aware that this is only playback. At least they could have put up a microphone. Live they are unbeatable. For me, this kind of music belongs on the stage. And if that doesn't work, at least pls put a microphone down.

@@Terry_Lacy +1 The more polished sound isn't simply David Bendeth's studio chops; they've upped their game big time, particularly Dany's vocals. She's really coming into her own as a first class rock diva, but unlike, say Pat Benatar or Heart/Ann Wilson, both Pau and Ale can sing, making for three part harmonies that they can do live. In fact, there's a little surprise that I won't spoil since it appears that Mike and Ginger haven't seen that yet.

The gals 'warned us' that the new album was gonna have a much heavier sound. And those of us who are old school, can hear classic Black Sabbath and Deep Purple throw backs that might have been intensional, but maybe not. If you have a good EQ system, you can isolate all the layers the gals have going on, and I think it's very layered and interesting. (especially Ale. Loads of subtle things happening with her bass) This album is gonna be killer!

It's great - but you should probably hear the original first :-) Maybe a double reaction? Apart from that, their whole second album is - while not fully as polished as this and probably future songs - really good. And elevated by its backstory since it's a concept album. Perhaps you could listen to it back to back on your own, in order to experience that story as a whole? They've got some good songs from their first ep and album as well, and more to be released soon, so it wouldn't exactly mean that you no longer have anything by them to react to :-)
