The BGM is Chinese style, and the 1:15 scene is not Japanese style at all, and overall it looks like a Japanese-style different world.
The game creator asked the Japanese why they were unhappy. I ask those who are watching the comments:

There are constant stutters and low frames in the video. This is how you know it was recorded on a console.
PC can have those too. As a matter of fact, I have better frame rate on my XBX than on my gaming PC
Ubisoft games are almost always terribly un-optimized on pc. It can take years for things to fixed or hardware to catch up to run their games decently…

This game has such a high bar set from Ghost of Tsushima there’s just now was Ubisoft can pull it off. If they couldn’t get Vikings right there’s no way they’ll get samurai right

So going back to classic way in mirage was just a one off
The impression I got from all the information so far that playing Naoe (the shinobi) is closer to the older style and focusing way more on stealth, while Yasuke (the samurai) is more combat focused similar to the other newer entries. According to Ubisoft's earlier statements we get to choose who we play the game as, so it could be interesting.

Too OP: Looks like it. Mirage was after all planned as a DLC.
They literally revealed before mirage came out that assasins creed red (shadows code name at the time) would be the last RPG element game.

Not sure if because TH-cam or if it's actually this shoddily optimized.
Hopefully the real gameplay showcase can show this game running in a manner befitting of a new, AAA modern console game (ie: at least trying to get it to run in the realm of 60FPS)
It’s just TH-cam. It’s heavily compressed and the game is confirmed 4k 60fps.
So basically it seems Yasuke is more of a tank with wider combat and can probably 1 v 8, where as Naoe relies on assassination and it much quicker but can probably only handle at most 2 or 3 in open combat. I like it.
I’m gonna enjoy stomping the ground and shocking my enemies. Also heard the combat is like ghost of Tsushima which is fantastic

well, really starting to think Arno deserved a trilogy after the last 5 games and this just adds more points to this idea to me
The dude plays more like ghost of Tsushima while the girl is like a ninja, it looks intriguing but I’ve been burnt by Ubisoft too much so I’ll wait for reviews

First AC I plan on getting since Black Flag. Anything Japanese and Samurai is a must for me. I love Japanese history.

The "Japan" of this game is "Japan imagined by Westerners" and is not historically or culturally accurate.
In the first place, all Yasuke had was a small sword, and there is no record of fighting on the battlefield as a samurai.
He was just loved like a pet by Nobunaga, who loved rare things.
It seems to me that UBI just wanted to make a game where black people massacre Japanese on behalf of white people.

please make it where if i stab someone in the neck with a blade, a number doesn’t pop up and they actually die. This game should have never integrated hit points n a leveling up system. Takes away from the original feel of being an assassin

They somehow need to get support from certain communities though, just like their previous games. The black guy isn't even a samurai to begin with according to japanese history but rather a retainer who is tasked to guard his master.

Toriis are gates to sacred or monstrous places, and are not something to be built casually.
This was probably created by an uninformed AI and released without any checking by Japanese.
