As a born and raised Arkansas resident, I completely agree with this. I just hope they somewhat involve Arkansas or some other neighboring states, you know? Because like you said, the south is RICH with folklore and history. Whether it’s the backwoods or the bayous, people always have a story to tell as long as there’s someone willing to listen.

Looks to me that the fingers line up perfectly with the music. Awesome trailer. Hoping we get to explore some awesome Blues culture with some original Black characters. This gives me Supergiant vibes, and as they're my favorite developer, that's extremely high praise. Very very very cool.
I was just listening to the original "Death Don't Have No Mercy" by Blind Gary Davis, and this popped up, looks interesting, It's good to see the blues make a resurgence with such a reverence to the art that this "Shakin Bones" character seems to hold in his design, and direction.

See, I don’t know if the newer generation knows this, but we call this stop motion because Claymation popularized it, which existed far before spider man had movies. Why do you think that into the spider verse invented not having a smooth frame rate? This game looks nothing like into the spider verse. No cartoon effects, no 2d animation except for the title but that doesn’t count. I love that movie too but it wasn’t even the first movie/tv show to start doing this, many smaller studios had done 2d/3d animation before, and this game is based on claymation, one of the first types of animation.
I'm rooting for this game, especially as it's the same studio that made We Happy Few... hope it's different this time and lives up to this gorgeous trailer!!
