Having both of these... both LABS and the Blueprint Series... Fracture Sounds seems to have created free libraries that are teasers for their paid libraries, while LABS from Spitfire Audio was originally a place for some at Spitfire to play around with their own sampling chops. When Christian Henson (now with his own The Crow Hil Company) was still with them, he created several of these libraries. They were originally NOT necessarily free, but you could download them for a MINIMUM donation (as little as a British Pound or a US Dollar), but they finally let them all go for free, while adding more to the series. There are all sorts of instruments in the series, which gives one the ability to write a lot of music without paying for anything. Recently Spitfire turned LABS into a subscription service, but the libraries that were originally free are STILL for free. They appear to have taken some of the ORIGINALS series (libraries that go for 29 dollars, 29 Euro, or 29 Pounds, and have placed them into the paid portion of LABS known as LABS+! Quite frankly, I'd purchase the $29 libraries because they're a great bargain for the money. Another set of free libraries are the Project Sam Free Orchestra (both 1 and 2), and Spitfire Audios BBC Orchestra Free, both providing even more reasonable quality for the beginner... and ALL for free. Since the Kontakt versions work with the FREE Kontakt Player, you won't have to layout any money for these great composition tools. If you don't have enough options there, you can always go to PIANOBOOK and have even MORE free options... and with the free DecentSampler have even MORE free instruments from which to create endless compositions. Cheers!! I hope this helps some of you out there.
Maybe I misunderstood, but Spitfire seems be subscription based and BF has it half off, so if you are looking for such a library, there you go, but I still fail to see how the other plugins are free if you have to purchase a subscription to use them? Again, maybe I am missing something.

Great insight! I have a few of the $29 Spitfire Audio libraries, and they’re great 👍
Nice! How are you resisting?
Doing good….LOL 😂

@@jrc9648 no subscription necessary for the free spitfire labs sounds - just the pay for instruments. I have no subscription.
