- I'll teach you how to make a spicy, smoky dipping sauce for sour fruit and baby mango. Toasted rice powder (khao khua) is essential for this recipe, so check out my video on how to make it (link below). I love this jeow thick, but if you prefer a thinner jeow then you can add more fish sauce and/or use less khao khua.

Ingredients:
1 Shallot
2 Garlic Cloves
2 Fresh Thai Peppers
1 tsp Dried Pepper Flakes
5 tbsp Toasted Rice Powder (Khao Khua) (Video: • How to make KHAO KHUA ... )
6 tbsp Fish Sauce
3 tbsp Fermented Fish Sauce (Padaek)
1.5 tbs Palm Sugar
1 tsp MSG (optional)
1 tsp Shrimp Paste
