About the bone viewport colors bit: If you select all the bones and hold alt while clicking the color, it applies the same color to all selected. This works with almost any field Blender so definitely nice to know.
I'm not a rigger, I did rigging because I was the only one animator on a small team... lucky it was in 3ds max with CATrig, imo it should be standard option for every software... it's not perfect but it made my life so much easier.
Now we have collection collections. So the collection withe armature has a collection. Like lights in a collection have a layer… pardon why call it collection and not layer like light linking?

3.6 is a lts and 4.0 sereies will get major changes
