Thanks for the shout-out Nathan! Really appreciate it. By the way, I saw on your website that you're located in Nashville. I just moved to Tennessee a few months ago, and I really like it here. 😄
just type blender crash course and follow. free one is the best.. paid courses are too long and exactly same as free ones. so, save money and happy 2024 🎉
Damn bro, sometimes. Seeing so many options become very overwhelming for people. So having a video, to guide us is what some people need. Especially when you don't know what each person does. Love how this guy breaks it down to each style! As well
Thanks a lot for featuring me dude! It's so crazy to me that you as my Blender hero now talk about me in a video with praise. A great high to start 2024 on! 🧡

I'm glad someone finally called out Mr. Beast's contributions to Blender. He's such a struggling little channel, but I hope this brings him just the smallest amount of attention so that he can really make something of himself. Wow. Wouldn't that be something? Can you imagine it? Can you?
It’s interesting that Blender Guru is only an honorable mention.. The guy has a vast amount of knowledge in Blender and has been using it over 20 years. He explains things nice and slow. He doesn’t explain things like he is explaining it to himself, which is where 95% of people mess up! He explains it like he is talking to a person that has no idea whatsoever, what’s going on. He doesn’t just tell you what tools to use, he explains how and why they work. If you really want to understand how things are working then I highly recommend him.
I can understand why. I tried starting with him when I first got into blender and couldn't follow it at all. Now that I know a little more I can see how helpful his classes are. But I don't think they are beginner friendly.(At least not for people who learn like I do)
@@gaz0428 that’s interesting because I feel he goes into way more detail and understanding. Maybe too much information was scrambling your brain but I had basic knowledge before I found him and he did more than say use this modifier, set this to this setting. He actually explains how and why things work and he doesn’t do it like he is explaining it to himself like 98% of people.
@@ATLJB86 I tried learn from him couple of times already(since he is so popular in blender community) but somehow gave up on halfway I don't know why. Personally I felt his tutorials are little bit boring(beginner videos). In the end I started Crossmind Studio's absolute beginner 7day tutorial, learned lot from there.
@@ATLJB86 He definitely goes into details but I had the same problem... I don't know why he feels a little hard to follow. I used to get struck a lot of time in his tutorials and just stuck for hours... He's great but maybe after you know the basics.
There is no way in what I could express how thankfull I am for this neatly categorised tutorial oriented video. I’ve been strugling while working on a project of mine because I couldn’t find the tutorials I needed and I got stuck between softwares like Houdini and Maya. You just saved me TONS of hours with this.
What a great starting point for Blender 4 learning! Really couldn't have come at a better time for me. Thank you for all you do and I hope to see much more! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
just a minor note from the beginning of the video when you discuss the two forms of learning Blender you write free and payed. I think you need to change it to free or paid. Payed is a used to refer to the act of coating part of ab oat with waterproof material or to the act of letting rope or chain by slackening it.
I’m starting out and I’m terrified. I have such a grand vision that I know I can realize in Blender but I didn’t know where to start. This helped a lot. Have a great one.

I appreciate how this is showcasing not only what to learn, but where to learn it, as well. Ive never really been able to get much from those “How to start X in 20XX” videos that just give generic advice
This is one of the most valuable videos for the creators' community. I already follow Stache's beautiful story telling and Derrek's high quality content. It looks like there are great talents to explore....
Why is this the best video on internet. Also guys just learn what you like, I got burnt out trying to learn photorealism and just now I discovered stylized graphics and I am having a blast.
As a GCFT Student, the paid course is a great place to start your Blender journey! Do the free Beginner course on their youtube channel, I found it way more fun than the donut and Robby is a great instructor. Another great honorable mention has to be blender bob!
