What an awesome video man . My man colt 45 had a good day out of school fishing 🎣 with his dad . I really like how you & colt take the time to spend time with each other on the kayak 🛶 fishing 🎣 barefooted 👣 together , catching twin fish 🐟 together , & using the same fishing rod together on the water as father and son man . I love taking all 6 of my boys kayaking 🛶 , kayak camping 🏕 , & kayak fishing 🎣 man . I am very close with all of my boys & i love spend & doing things with them . Tell your wife man that colt 45 should have at least 1 day out of the month from school . He can go to school for 1 hours ain't get an early dismissal from school . At least he show up to school just not for long . Good video buddy thanks you for sharing this video buddy .
I caught a nice bunch of bluegill yesterday and one bass. Water in the high forties. Late in the sunny afternoon I saw some fish eating something off the top. This is a pond maybe a couple acres. Never did see what they were after. There’s only bluegill, bass and a few catfish in it. I was using a 1/64 oz jig with a Berkeley honey worm tipped with a panfish nibble six feet down. NICE CATCH GUYS!!!!!!!
I love watching y’all fish. I fish Hamp mazel lake Suwannee creek. That’s where I was raised. Love that you do this with your son too!! Great investment in his life. Y’all take care.
@@jimmyhallgospelmusic my Grandpa used to take me out there when I was young…beautiful place to fish! Really appreciate you watching and taking the time to drop us a comment. It really means a lot!!
As an old man (and lifelong fisherman), I will admit to missing school, work, weddings, and even one anniversary when the fish were biting. All great trips that I do not regret except for the anniversary... THAT WAS A MISTAKE!!!
love seein u w colt 45 bro as a father myself thats the way ! priceless moments and he will forever be greatful to have a cool dad like you ! keep up the hard work!!! much love frm Atlanta
Another fine mess of fish! Hey, it doesn’t hurt to miss a day of school or work every now and then. That young man can learn some lessons sitting in the front of that kayak with his daddy that he won’t learn in school. Y’all finishing out the bug bite strong! Thanks for sharing with the rest of us!

Y'all making me jealous! Came over here from John Dalton, Creek Fishing Adventures. I was thinking about ordering a few, what size are you mostly using, the regular or jr? Also, I think these will catch trout up here in NE Ga, whatcha think!?
@@keithblackwell9514 Glad you’re here Brother! We mostly use the Regular of Big Back size. I’ve fished them a little around Blairsville(not in any major trout streams) caught several panfish on them.
@GABOYOUTDOORS glad to join in! Sounds alright on the size. Do you mind me asking about how wide does the bug sit when on the water? Regular size and jr? Like 1.5 inches, etc...thanks brother! I like that tannin south ga water👍🏻
Ah you good my man. I just love fishing, but work gets in the way, lol! I don't get to go a ton during the school year, but I've been struggling lately in the Chattahoochee River, a few minutes away, and I love ultralite bream/crappie, bass fishing from my yak too. Your lures look really fun to try. Are they for sale in any stores up this way, or are you mainly south GA.
Hello. Can you tell me which ultralight casting rod you use? I bought a Zebco Delta but can’t find a 5’6 ultralight casting rod. Only a St Croix but I’m not going there lol. Thanks! Love the videos.
@@mrdrayman769 it’s a no name model Zebco. The same kind you find on the 202 combos at Walmart that run about $15 bucks or so. It’s more of a light action. Colt uses a green Zebco hot cast that is also sold at Walmart for under 10 bucks. We don’t usually put a lot of money into our bug fishing rods either…a Croix is nice but I’m like you that would definitely be overkill for this style of fishing. Try to find something light or medium light….ultralight seems to get kind of whippy when you cast and it takes away distance in my opinion.
Thanks! Here is a video of me fishing just your spider in my parents pond. Love it. Time to reorder. th-cam.com/video/c8uBRvkRgHU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=f20ztEQixnlcmpko
Georgia born 'n raised. I like your channel, but if you keep naming these places on the internet... you're gonna need to bring your own rock to stand on to fish 'em. I know this one isn't a secret or anything, but the internet is a mighty big place with plenty of people ( tens of thousands ) who don't mind travelling to fish a good spot. So, FWIW..... maybe you could just say "South Georgia river" and not actually hand out GPS coords?
Colt learned more with Dad fishing than a weeks lessons in school ! Nice trip Guys !
Appreciate that Bro😎
