Definitely one of the downsides of Krita's brush engine, I spent so much time trying to make a custom soft brush that'll behave properly but it's just impossible currently. Still workable but takes extra effort. Btw, your transform/move was more performant in Photoshop because you can't copy paste the group as is from Krita to Photoshop, you actually copy it as a single layer. But yeah Krita's transform/move tool is sluggish by nature.
@@pzthree Yes that is true, I believe PS uses hardware acceleration for transforms amongst many things. While Krita currently uses it only for canvas rendering. Krita's Hardware accelerated transforms is on the possible development list for after ver 6.0 but who knows how long that'll take.

I had noticed that after.... but if I had a similar group in PS it would still draw with no lag.

I just purchased Rebelle 7 when it was heavily discounted and am not looking back.
I don't know where you're getting those performance issues in krita, but in all my computers, Krita rivals photoshop on every level.

@@pzthree aahhh... ok I get it.
I know this is unrelated but give the Quran a read, also use affinity photo its much better
