Engine oils are tested at 100 degree Celsius. Always use oil as per owner manual.
We cannot use thicker oil in hybrid cars, it will decrease fuel economy. 0w20 is recommended for all hybrids irrespective of the weather conditions

@@adeelnasir4453 depends on which oil grade you are currently using.
If you are using 20w50 than try switching to 10w40. And see if it reduces oil or not. If not than continue using it and if it reduces than go back to 20w50.
@@jibrankhattak4409 i am currently using 10W-40 oil and thinking to switch either to 10w-30 of havoline but i don't know weather its synthetic formula or not or switch to 5W-30 shell two type available in market one is synthetic formula and other is fully synthetic which one you suggest

It will give better starting and improved fuel economy.
Just keep on eye on the dipstick after 1000kms if it reduces oil or not.

Mere pas bhi 2002 vti oriel prosmatec hai petrol. 200k+ mileage hogaya hai. Castrol Magnetic 10w40 use kar raha hun. Alhamdulillah pura oil nikalta hai. No oil burning, leakage etc.Bohat acha oil hai Castrol Magnetic 👍

5w-30 is best grading for all New Engines Till 100k mileage. After that go for 10W-40. Please dont use 20w-50 that will ruin your engine.
20w50 has never been energy efficient. It should only be used in light commercial vehicles like pickup vans now adays
