Its quiet interesting how we reject the reality of our situation and expect to be able to observe it, control it and even change it. I used to be financially depressed until I read a book that made me realized that the secret to making a million is making better investments.
May I ask which investments are good? I've been looking at a few different ones but want others' opinions as well
What I think everyone need is an adviser, who can help you get in and out of any investment at any time and you'd sure be in Profit. With this I feel anyone can basically achieve financial freedom

What actual apps are you two using?
If you’re feeding all of this into openai’s service, do you still own the data? What can they do with that data you’ve uploaded? What are your thoughts about legal ramifications of having an assistant answer for you?
I'm only about a quarter of the way through this but so far you guys are raving about these ai models. I haven't yet seen any skepticism or concern as to where this might be leading.

Preston, love the show. Love Jeff's ideas on deflation. I agree that prices of good should go down due to better processes and tech. However, I think Jeff has a blind spot or I haven't heard it said yet by him on the shows I've heard him on. That is that new industries will emerge. If we still only had farms and houses then yes, no one would work more than a few hours a week. The world we live in now has smart phones, computers, power tools, video game systems. All of these require increases productivity. So increasing productivity means we will have more abundance of goods but not necessarily a falling work load. Someday we may plateau and therefore that vision could be realized. For now, I don't see people's work load going down.

What does Jeff mean by "circular economies" and "untouched"?
Sort of like how a small town that did all their expenses w/ ea other.. they can just use BTC & their lives wouldn’t b affected by what happens in th larger economy. (If u agree w/ people on a currency of exchange other than th dollar u can detach from th chaos that will happen ther).
The one concern that I have is thst when I create my own model, does the assistant have a bias that could slightly shade "who" I am creating? In other words, if I am conservative, will my model be as conservative as I am? Or if I am a Christian, will my model through my assistant, share my beliefs in the same way? Or, will the assistant through its programming, change the beliefs of my model slightly?

I'm a crane operator. And I think my job will be taken over by a self operating crane in 10 years or less. But I'll be retired on my Bitcoin long before that.
the impacts these agents will have on mental health is astounding. we'll have personalized deeply intimate psychotherapists guiding our state of mind, mode of behavior, thought patterns, and decision making. our mental health issues will be addressed, which will benefit society immensely. imagine a future where each individual has a chance to experience true personal happiness, complete contentment. with joy for life guiding our actions and goals, what would we build individually and collectively? could we see peace arising en masse? i think so!

If prices also fall in fiat terms (not just btc) due to AI, then where would we see rising prices as a result of money printing? It has to show up somewhere.
Inflation is too much money chasing too few goods, so if we vastly increase the number of goods and only majority increase the dollars, it's possible price inflation wouldn't be widely seen.
It would show up in scare assets as savings would continue to flee to better stores of value.
@@Life_as_GameThe money printing has to accelerate at an even greater rate to keep up with the deflation from AI, or else the credit system would collapse from the deflation. Jeff talks about it in many of his interviews. I think it's possible people will get lower prices from AI even in fiat terms, similar to how we get cheaper TVs, but we see higher prices in other sectors like real estate, energy, and food. It'll be interesting because AGI presumably impacts ALL sectors.

Exquisite! Here’s my reservation, my friends, I deeply see the truth, and everything you’re talking about, and I want so much to see that this decentralized bitcoin sovereign world as a reality. That said, I have this doubt. There has been so many amazing visionaries from Tesla, Reich, Lao Tsu… and generally, their vision, their thinking, their realizations are mostly completely missed by most.
I want so much for this vision you speak of to be seen and come to be true… I am a Bitcoiner , and I am in all the way, but I have these dark dark doubts. Tell me something that will vanish these doubts.

I also want to train an AI agent, but not to be me, but feed it the knowledge of a wise man who is no longer with us. He wrote many book, so I'd like to train the AI bot to act as that person. It would be great to ask that person for his opinion on certain things. But I don't hear or see any reference here on which exact tools Jeff and Preston are using. How do I get started?
If you do some searches on "building knowledge-based AI chatbot". You'll find a lot of tools that can help you. You can drop files from the person you are trying to convert into an Ai (ex. Books, novels, writings, etc..). You can even convert transcripts from podcasts or speeches as well.. I hope that helps a bit.. you can also have the AI use the data to answer in the persona of the person if you would like.
The wisest thought that is in everyone's minds today is to invest in different income flows that do not depend on the government, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest and trade in gold, stock and digital currencies. C. Kevin insights and charts are productive.

I wonder if it is even accurate to think of jobs as being “replaced” or “taken” as that implies there is a living human willing to do these jobs for the given wage, which is often not the case these days. As the silver tsunami hits and the young population dwindles, it will be less of a case of AI and robotics “taking” people’s jobs and more of them filling in for otherwise uncorrectable population gaps as the labor shortage intensifies
When artificial general intelligence is achieved on a wide scale, how could they not conclude that Bitcoin is the best money available... or even come up with something better themselves?

Imagine if Elon said something like this…everyone who purchases something from us using bitcoin will be able to maintain a share of any future price appreciation of the bitcoin as they pay for a specified period of time…. It’s almost as if in this completely flipped financial world of bitcoin…we will go from loaning money and collecting interest to one of loaning value and sharing interest to the people we do business with? I mean business have to incentivize people to use the Bitcoin system in order to grow the value in the system…and here’s the crazy part…both systems probably exist for a very long time…have to give that some more thought
