    I know Nur (the biker) in person and she is such a huge personality, what she has not mentioned is that a lot of bikers leave bike equipment they don't use anymore at her cafe and she forwards them to other bikers in need who can't afford them. The Turkish biker community loves her!

    One thing we love about hearing other peoples stories, is that other than the location, is many of us have so many similar experiences in one way or another, and that at the end of the day we really are more similar than dissimilar! Congrats again on your Turkish residency, and it's great you have a Home Base per-se there now! Thank you for taking us with you on this awesome cultural conversation with the people you have met!! Love you guys to the moon and have a beautiful rest of your week! 🤗🥰🌛💖😘

    Turkish is easier to learn than english. We dont even have articles, and u speak out words as how u read them :) I am so glad that u like my country. It makes me feel warm in my heart. Love u guys. Peace.

    • @mariaandbryan
      @mariaandbryan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that is true about the articles but you have your own sounds that arent familiar to us, like the g with the little thing on top, or the different u's or o's, so as we are unfamiliar with that and the sentence structure, it makes it a bit hard for us.
      English can be tricky to pronounce, that is why (Maria) still has troubles even after all these years.
      But we won't give up! We are learning Turkish, yes or yes! Thank you for your love and support!

      @@mariaandbryan I had french at school. this was hard and even German has 3 articles. And ıf a Turk can learn german than everybody can learn turkisch :D
      By the way the g with the small thing above it is just lengthen the vocal before. For the c and ç there is a easy example to remember. The name George in englisch u would writ in turkisch like Corç. The first is soft and the second letter is read strong. Or for the soft c u read it like Joe, Jenkins, Jack, Jerry. And for the Ç u read like Cherry, check, chuck, chocolate ;). Ş = sh e.g shell, shelf, mushroom, sugar. U would write şel, şelf, muşroom or şugar. For ö its read like hamburger - hembörgır, or curry - körri. For the i without point above the ı u read like Frank we would write Fırenk. Imagine there is a letter between F and r while u read, bu t u lengthen it. like Fııı rank. The a in turkish u read like uncle - ankıl, or mustard - mastırd. and the e we read like pencil - pensıl, or regret - rigret. In turkish u read everything like its written. u dont form some letters to different pronouncing. İf u have questions just ask. I am glad to help.

    Hi. Can I ask two questions? first of all, ma'am, are you Catalan or Spanish? My other question is that you have been in many countries before. Hospitality in Turkey surprised you? thanks. i love you sweet couple

    • @mariaandbryan
      @mariaandbryan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Arif!
      Not sure if you are trying to start a fight 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Just kidding.
      I am born in Madrid, but I have lived in many cities in Spain. Catalunya is still part of Spain and I hope it continues like that. But I acknowledge those who want independence and I hope one day we can work something out so we are all happy and proud of being from Spain. Yet I have to confess Barcelona is probably the most complete and beautiful city in Spain.
      We love Turkey and find it the most hospitable country we have ever been to. But we have been to less than 30 countries, so we have a lot to learn and a lot of places to go to.
      Check this video for our views on Turkish Hospitality! th-cam.com/video/Ylf5d0Rwrds/w-d-xo.html
