Dalyan Boat Trip - Lakes, Markets And Turkish Mud Baths (Mel’s On Snake Watch!!!)

- We take a boat trip with Capt Unal and Villa Duran Boat Trips from Dalyan Turkey across Koycegiz Lake to Koycegiz market.
Mel mentioned snakes just before I jumped in the lake! Apparently, they are not dangerous and not that common.
We were not sponsored in any way and Mel chose the Villa Duran boat trips after looking at the reviews on TripAdvisor.
Koycegiz market is held every Monday and it takes just under an hour to sail there.
After the market, we took a swim in Köyceğiz lake and headed to the thermal and mud baths before heading back up the river to Dalyan.

Hello, great few videos on Dalyan! Been before years ago, and stayed at Calbis. Lovely to see its still a great hotel. Visiting again this August. How much would you recommend budgeting roughly for a week stay?
Not sure, as it was a few years ago. I remember going out at night for dinner being cheap.

I know that the Turkish are friendly and are very family orientated and welcoming. From your experience of Turkey, would you say that Turkey would be a good place to visit for a family with two boys (aged 14 & 5) who love the sea and exploring rock pools, and going snorkeling? Oh, and is it cheap?
This was our first time in Turkey and would definitely recommend it. Maybe not this resort with kids as its up river from the beach. The exchange rate is really good for us at the moment.
