We are so saddened by the garbage and things that are hurting the animals in the ocean. That's great they have a center here that helps these turtles recover. We love sea turtles.. they are truly magical!
They truly are. And they do so much on this center. We hope we create a bit of awareness about it, they are doing a fantastic job.

We were so excited. We talked about everything!! Everything! Culture, traditions, family, autism, food, life goals, religion, it was such an amazing experience. And we don't speak Turkish lol or them English hahaha

That turtle hospital is so nice. What a great mission. We can tell that you guys were busy while you were here. Oh gosh, baklava is one of our favorite things.
It was a non-stop 4 days. Now we are back to the same spot during lockdown and we have been put without leaving the hotel at all
It's funny you say that the people at the Bakery wanted to keep feeding you. Butters remembers this little Turkish man and his wife who had a stall at the City Market where Butters grew up who was from Turkey, and they would sell their delicious bread and foods, and would stop people and feed them as they were walking through the market! Turkish food is so delicious!!What a beautiful experience, and just how language is just a barrier, and food unites!

It's the old Turkish style, especially in small towns. We fell so welcomed. Incredible experience
D Malay in d olden days will always have their meal on d floor. Even during iftar at mosques, d Muslim will have their meals on d floor too.

For Lieles is physically hard, because he's very tall and his knees are deteriorated.
For me, it's ok. I can be sitting down in butterfly position for hours.
And i feel actually very comfortable eating like that with more people.
