I have been a boat fan my whole life, mostly rides in jet and Marine applications, the v drive has long been my shooting star. I just can't get enough of this. I don't own boats but this video is by far the most intense and actual real life " hey guy you are in a v drive doing 90mph" that I've seen.. So simple, so fast, so epic.
A really good friend of mine here in NorCal has a Raysoncraft with the dual pedal trim plate circle racing set up. Hes running a blown 572 with dual Holleys and its absolutely insane. I have a 65 Hallet V Drive with a 521 Ford Stroker with trick flow heads and some other go fast stuff and I run 92 mph on gps at sea level here and he passed me like I was in reverse. He said hes run 121 mph but I think he's just guessing. It's fast and wow does it handle with those trim plate pedals. It's a beautiful boat. Speaking of beautiful boats , nice job on yours . Its fantastic
Back in the early seventies a gentleman at Lake Tahoe had a similar wood deck rayson craft. He had a Chrysler Hemi in her and it was blazing fast and rode very well. Congratulations on the beautiful boat!
had an old flat bottom 20 footer with 283 and i put a 2 stage power glide in her just about pulled your arms out of there sockets when it changed iunto 2nd
Dang that sucker sure does ride nice and love the deck. My BGF would not have liked being driven that fast n that tough water. Is the hull a Rayson Craft?

You and your dad built a masterpiece. Enjoyed seeing the countless hours of work you guys spent on it. Outstanding enjoy it.
Now that was freakin spectacular!!
Nothing better than running a properly set up grand National Rayson Craft.
Amazing build! Put my name on the next one! Awesome work guys!
I had 15ft. Hydro stream with a 150 mercury Out board and chopper Prop. This is much nicer. Love it ☮️❤️

all i can say is, badass!
Curious what gears you have in the v-drive? Have you topped it out and see how fast GPS says it goes?
