When you look forward to go to bed early because you love the early mornings...Well then you've made it!!! That is the goal in life. It took me 50 years to get there😂❤
If I had a nice view I would agree with you. When I was in France on holiday by the sea I often woke up really early, sat on the sofa overlooking the sea with a coffee or mint tea and just enjoyed the view. If the weather was good I would take a thermos cup, buy a croissant at the boulangerie and walk along the beach. Perfection for me. I’d be living there if I could.
Take your time! Don't feel pressured to be going faster. People have an unrealistic expectation of how long this type of work takes. It's obvious you're working hard and making important progress! I've really enjoyed the honest and realistic updates.
Thank you @JonasStanford . It is all getting there in time. At least I am not camping like some on YT do on these type of things. That looks very hard.
I loved this video. Especially the walk around Arezzo. Ive loved the little towns around Firenze. That Antique market break sounds like just the ticket you need. You are building a beautiful life for yourself and your family. wonderful video work. Bravo. Thank You.
Like someone said, going to bed early to get up to those stunning mornings is what it's all about. It's 5am here and I'm up already planning my day. I could watch your videos every day, living in a stunning part of the world & renovating that pretty house. Take care, keep us entertained. Love from Spain 💙
Thank you @patriciapadgett4696. I can now see the benefits of that wonderful Spainish siesta to have a little nap after a busy early start. It is such a lovely lifestyle.😊
Retirement is not that far along. It will sneak up on you before you know it. Specially when you have such involved projects. You certainly have a good head start. Such a beautiful journey you have taken on. I’m all in cheering for you.

People will come and go but if you engage them early with your persona they will hang about and you do that well already, keep it up! . Richard, I believe you got it right this time. Bravo for realizing it’s the outside that drew you to Italy. You will never regret putting your attention to the outside first. You just made yourself a gorgeous latte in very decent surroundings. That and a bed and I think you’re in heaven.
I think you are right @Here_kitty_kitty1-wg9xd . Keep it simple. Having hot water and nice good bed to rest in is all that is needed at the moment. Relaxing outside, day or night, is magical.😊

honestly the whole video/channel could be just that view with the rolling countryside and sunsets and i’d still thoroughly enjoy it!! 😅 love seeing the different aspects of life in italy, the format works great
Who ever said you are taking too much time......either has never done this kind of a remodel, or has no other life. I love the pace at which you are moving, life is too short if you rush. Well done A by the way, just finishing up a remodel here in California we are now about a year, and we have a crew. Just to make you jealous......trucks can pull right in the drive way and have a fork lift for placement.
Hi @davidlanders2853 , i am jealous. I just had a delivery of 600 floor tiles....I have to wheel barrow them to the house from the corner of the land and am about to film some of it this afternoon. These things do take way longer than in planning.😂 Happy new remodel. Question is - do you have your eye on the next remodel and when will you be doing all the madness again?🙌
Richard, another awesome video! It's inspiring seeing how your video-making skills keep improving, with the beautiful lighting and scene framing and positioning of your camera to get varied shots, and great musical background overlaid with sounds from the market. The best though, is watching you move through your life, working away towards a dream, making decisions and progress while always keeping the self-humor close to the surface. Time is just a construct, so enjoy your lucky present. Wishing you steady happiness, from across the sea to your far west, Lee
Morning Richard Can it get any better? You're mastering the video part and music to go along. Perfecto! You got a talent for it and you're a natural on camera. TH-cam at it's finest - we are hooked on all aspects of your journey. Beyond far better than a travel show on PBS that has aired for decades, even the reno shows - be proud. Amazing progress on the house - understandable frustration with the town council logic ( if you want to call it that) and piles of paperwork, so vent away. The rear of the house with sunset views is NW - and your vision of a terrace is pivotal. But is there a plan for a small morning terrace, to share your coffee with the intimate quite of the morning sunrise? The market in Arezzo part was like you invited all of us along. What a fabulous place. Personally I'd be in big trouble there, antiquing and auctions are a passion - getting that great find. It just kept getting better, all the outdoor restaurant patios, so warm and relaxed - the life. Yes, many have wasted their youth. For the most part what ones values at 20 is very different when 30, 40, 50 etc. But most still waste their life, rushing around in traffic mayhem, and fumes, into their offices, and then back into their homes - rarely do they look at the sky or catch the sunset. So this escape from the rubbish Manchester winters is unfolding to the realization of outdoor living space not just the house. Equal measures. Winter in Canada is like being in a chest freezer, very cold, dark, feeling boxed in and super long. Hard to breathe when your life feels that rushed and restricted. Richness is measured in health, well being, and the simple things in life. Marche has it in spades. Well done.
Great to see the progress. Awesome achievements given you split your time travelling between UK and Italy, a job to pay the bills and working on the house to make the Italian dream come true.
Its more about where it is and the outdoor space than the house itself. I have just spent two months in Italy trying to get as much done as I can myself, achieved 30% of what I wanted, but loved every minute
30% sounds like a massive achievement going by the timescales I get given for materials and deliveries.😂 Shade on the terrace - yes - I hope to have a frame and then grow something over it all. There will be plenty of shade around the place.😎
I just happened upon this channel and am loving the work you are doing. Thanks for letting us tag along on your adventure! Keep the Italian House Renovation videos coming!
Loving your videos. Always look forward to what your plans are, but most of all Loving that you are enjoying the place and the journey. Many sacrifices made to do this . Keep it up. Love your natural delivery.
2 years ago I was renovating a bathroom and I had to remove walls of 6" tiles that had been there 20 years +. I started with a hammer and chisel like you. 1 hour later with bloody and hands and hardly any progress I went out and bought a cheap screwfix sds hammer drill with chisel attachment. That felt like the best purchase ever as 3 hours later the job was done!
Hi @MisterPerks . These tiles lead me down the same path. I purchased a hammer drill the following day. It is a great tool but now I am finding old stonework and nice bricks it is too harsh and it breaking the bricks...so back to the hammer and chisel for the softer stuff. In saying that...I will be putting that hammer drill to some great use soon enough.😁
Unless the people telling you to speed up the work are paying for the house, they can bug off. 😂 Some of us appreciate the realistic time frame, the real-life situation of living in two places and figuring this out as you go. (Side note: I read every book set in Italy that I can get my hands on. Just finished Four Seasons in Rome by Anthony Doerr. Might make for a nice sunset or sunrise read with your giant coffee.)
Live the experience and enjoy the moments, fantastic sunsets. And you know when you're tearing down walls and tiles it is a lot easier to have a trash can or a wheelbarrow to throw stuff in as its coming off. Sure beats picking it up off the floor, some hits the floor but a lot less. Stay well, keep putting the videos out, they are great.
Hi Richard, I'm new and just subscribed. Beautiful views from your property. I'm learning a lot from your videos, so thank you. --John, Burlington, West Virginia, Usa
I am enjoying your journey. You don’t have to rush to get things done. Completion is the step before starting over again. I’ve been in my house for more than 20 years and I’m redoing things we have already finished. Changes never end. Thanks for the video.
I giggled watching you stride through the antiques market; not a purchase made. Us women would be loaded with stuff n still keep eyes peeled for more in probably 1/10th the time you took. 😂😂
You are doing great Richard One man can only do so much And you live in two countries It will take time but will be beautiful Thank you for sharing g the market Loved seeing all the vendors shops and cafes Enjoy your videos glad I found your channel Take care and see you in next video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video Richard. It's funny how the people watching the people doing always have better plan for them. You're becoming quit the videographer. Thanks for your work!
Thanks @thomasbrynwood8592 I appreciate the feedback and tips and smile at some of the ideas that some have. I suppose it is hard as I don't show everything on camera and the landscape side is hard to show properly on TV as everything looks flatter than it actually is!😂
It's amazing what charming pieces you can add to your place from those markets. It's definitely worth the trip, especially when you are making changes, you can also get some inspiring ideas.👍
My thought all along was, wow, this guy sure does a lot of MANUAL labor. Not only within the house, but clearing brush, and most everything outside, to me seems over the top labor intensive. Even the "flood control" during the heavy rains, moving the mud with a shovel & your feet. Not trying to be a "nay-sayer", keep up the good work, I enjoy your trials & tribulations. It's so easy to comment sitting in a comfortable chair & watching someone else doing all the work, . . . .
Hi @2quintly . I am building up my tool collection as I go as I don't have the budget to throw money at everything quickly. I paid over 1,000 euros for that water run off to be made - it collapsed and caused that issue at the back of the house. I wish I would have spent that 1k on tools but did not know at the time. Clearing those barns has been hard work with all the junk and stuff left in the undergrowth. Once it is cleared up I dream of a nice sit on machine to keep it all in line. 😂
Holy cow, Richard. Sometimes I think your name isn't Richard, but Sysiphus 😂. A man with a mountain of work ahead of him. I'm glad you treat yourself to a break now and then and enjoy wonderful Italy.
I feel the same way, it's your project, I'm just happy to have to opportunity to see how you get on. The more important thing is that you are doing what you enjoy. That said, I can't wait to see how having a door leading out the other side is going to change the whole feel of it.👍😂
Watching intently, then thought I heard wrong so went back a bit, I’m near hay and yep all book shops, much prefer your current surroundings and culture 😊
If the new door opening is not as high as you want think about creating a step down from the interior of the house. Then you will be at ground level and the same level as the outside. Hope this is understandable.
Thanks @PaulAngelico . Yes - it is. Thank you. I think there are a few options that will present themselves once I see the new floor finish level and what lintle space I am left to play with on the inside. I have ordered a 2m high (frame) door unit which should be a nice doorsize.👍
@@threeacresofmarche I bought a home in the historic district in Scalea 2 years ago. Watching your channel motivates me to finish it. The people, the food, the lifestyle. It’s been a great journey. Best of luck with overcoming all of the challenges.
Just a regular person doing some regular things, yet a world of viewers so drawn to follow your journey! I guess it's not so regular for someone to take the steps to make the dream come true. My husband and I were not too far from Marche last week, visiting some beautiful villages, always dreaming of what it might be like to buy a place in Italy and make it home.
Thanks for the offer @gardenbrewing4478 . Its a can of worms project so be careful what you wish for!😁Joking - I hope you get your dream project one day soon.🙌
I often think taking your time is the way to go. It’s only when you get to know the house, the land and the seasons do you know what will be best. Rushing is a sure fire way to make mistakes I think. I’m enjoying watching your journey and don’t mind how long it takes.😊
Take your time. Think it's part of the appeal that it's not some rush job. Best to think it through and do it at own pace as is more than just a renovation job to turn a quick profit.
Happy to see you got to Tuscany! Arezzo is fab for when you get round to decorating, but the market can be pricey, head into the permanent stores to find better bargains.
Hey Rich!! Gr8 ep. Don't know bout the latte in the morning?? (ha haha) short black(an expresso) you had the coffee and macchinatta right (fresh ground mmmmh) LIVE YOUR DREAM MATE. Don't mind the haters, most of us watchin' you are livin' it (a dream) with you awesome. Yeh! the wiring and permit (welcome to gov red tape. welcome to Italy/Europe. Actually happens everywhere (some guy just wants his cut??) Love what your doin'.I personally want to see your journey, all of it. nice day at the beach, thoughts behind knockin down the wall etc etc. It is interesting to me. Cheers love it carry on bit by bit!
Twenty years ago we were making plans to move to that area ..my wife's grandparents came from there and Genoa... but unfortunatly ill health and accident put an end to that dream. Your videos are great to watch
Hi, just a point about doors opening inwards it limits the space you can put furniture, I have my conservatory door opening outward and have a settee close to the side of it, hope that’s a help. Tony 🇬🇧
Hi @anthonytodd3408 . I know what you mean but each door will be quite narrow so not big double doors as such. The frame will be 1m wide. It had to be the same size that is there at the moment. Also, I was advised that inward openers are more secure and I don't have any plans for furniture in that space. It should be ok.😊🤞
I'm in the same boat as you. I purchased a villa in Sicily that was nothing but a shell of a home, pretty much gutted. Took 2 years to rebuild the house, using contractors for most of the rebuild. I am still working (IT) and spend 3 - 4 months in the US and 6 - 8 months in Sicily. I have a couple more years left to work before retirement, retirement can't get here soon enough. Piano, piano, it's the Sicilian way and you'll get there eventually.
Hi @posttoasty7552 . Great to hear from those that are further into the process than I am. This digital nomad visa could be good to get there sooner while still working. I am looking into that at the moment.
I agree @seamusegan9956 . I have not taken the render or brick away to see what I am dealing with yet but think a steel beam will give me lots more height.👍
Hi @JR-kz2xn . Thank you. I am never sure how to take some comments so try and see the positive and questions in them. I don't get many horrible ones to be fair...they just get ignored. There are far too many nice, kind people to reply to.😊
This was terrific. My goodness all those neat antique/ household goods. Lot of treasures. Beautiful town. Church. Weather, Thankyou. PS did you get your fireplace stove project done for now? Thank you , great ❤
Hi @beverlymartin1414 , the fireplace should be fired up and tested this week. It took a while for tiles to be delivered but I am filming all of that now.👍
Hello Richard, my husband and I have been following your adventure. Thanks for the hard work of making the videos. We are planing to retire in Italy in a couple of years, but still unsure about which region. We're in San Diego California, USA -
Hi @patriciagaribay2796 you are at the fun stage of having too much choice! Everywhere is lovely so hope you find the place that get you what you need and the lifestyle that you are looking for. It is all here. Best wishes.😊
A good way of finding the hidden places with the bargains is asking the locals when you go do your normal shopping. You'd be surprised how much is out there without being advertised.👍
I loved the are around Sienna and the Tuscan landscape.Take your time and do it bit by bit.Its a lot of work to do in one go.I would consider doing the outside sitting area first too BUT remember to include shade.
Hi @bertibear1300 . I hope to get some of that area cleared in the summer. The farmer will help once the crop has been harvested. I think the outside space and that door will change everything. Plenty of natural shade in the plans also.😎
Well done. It's a great feeling to see progress. From cleaning to burning the over growth and trimmings. Nice second use for the rubble. Hopefully no more Rats. Very nice looking town.
As it comes, it's not a race. The double doors onto a patio area would be my no.1 priority, especially with those sunsets, a nice haven once interior work begins.
Hi @patriciagaribay2796 Yes, plenty of treasures but I was window shopping for when the house is past the building site stage. This market has an amazing eclectic collection but the main part is furniture.
Hi @CatherineH.-gf7mm . I have not seen any but I am sure they are there. Someone else suggested that the actual antique shops are cheaper than the market stalls....I will take a look in those next time. Facebook marketplace is big here.
The French door entrance sounds like a great plan. Is a dormer type remodelling of the roof possible to allow for a bay to overcome your height problem? It will be interesting watching you solve this. Views are great and your camera choreography is consistently exceptional in a very understated way. Nicely done.
Thank you @KymHammond . The dormer idea is a possibility although that would change the roof shape and would probably open the door to permission issues again. It is a last resort option.🤞
I enjoy the whole process. Take your time. Not sure if you have to get permission but you could raise the roof in that one section to fit the door in. It should only change the pitch of the roof a little bit in that section. It would even be nice if you did about 2 meters wide and carried it out to give a slight awning over the door.
Hi @GalaxyZander . There would be planning permission required for that change. I am sure it would be no issue, but that process would need a lot of paperwork. Also, I think that an awning would have to come out of the allocation of space and it seems that no extentions are allowed under the current rules. I am sure there would be a way but I will try make it work with what is there first and fall back to the permission game/dance/merrygoround if I need to.😁
Going by the comments I get this is similar to other parts of Italy (and other countries). I think extending an existing dwelling has one set limitations but knock down and start again can be looked at differently. I am no expert so can only tell from my experience.👍
HI @columroche435, as soon as I posted this I double checked myself....I googled it as I just took it for granted that it was an English town and did not realise that it straddles the border. *apologies to all Welsh watchers.😊
You have probably thought about this already. the picture window view is sighted directly across where the outdoor terrace will be. If you ever run a sunshade, umbrella, etc on/over terrace it could block the view. Only mentioning because I experienced a similar issue in the past.
Hi @ibindermann , you are right - planning the shade and a view can br tricky. I think I have a plan and luckily have the space so that not all relaxing areas need to be adjacent to the main house. The cosy but well lit winter view is a biggy.👍
Thanks @arekk.29 . I sent the drone over it flying low - I think there are quite a few out of place, broken or missing. I need a better ladder to get me up there and get them fixed / realigned. I might wait for some help....just in case. No leaks though - amazingly!🙌
I’m gunna need a couple BIG suitcases when I go over for holidays, I was a couple wine demijohns & a years supply of marvis toothpaste to bring home to Aus. 😂
Hi @TheCatsafrican The two doors should not take much space inside (1m wide frame) so they will take up a little more space than the current windows that open inward. I plan on keeing this area furniture free also so did not mind too much. This way you have have doors open and shutters closed so that the air can flow on hot days.
That door you want to put in the lounge area, here's an idea for you to make it professional, I assume the floor is timber and joists and bearers, plan on a full size height door/s just cut back the floor in the longe to take one or two steps possibly with a short step down landing if swinging to the inside, you can make it look like a feature inside, I assume you have the room and it wont destroy the look, I think it can come up well.. of course the floor will need some structural support to accommodate...
HI @alias_EP . Thanks for the tips. The floor is solid block concrete. There is room inside for a step, should I need one when I get into it. The order went in a while back with a delivery date estimate of before Christmas....I have just had the call that they are ready for delivery so that could be my next job I tackle.😁
Hi @jasperbrouwer . Ideally that would be a good route but the rules around those things were way to complex and costly so making the best from what is there seems the sensible, and less stressful, way to go.😂
When you look forward to go to bed early because you love the early mornings...Well then you've made it!!! That is the goal in life. It took me 50 years to get there😂❤

Richard tieni duro💪💪💪. Stai facendo un lavoro enorme, sei bravissimo
Grazie🙌
Unless the people telling you to speed up the work are paying for the house, they can bug off. 😂 Some of us appreciate the realistic time frame, the real-life situation of living in two places and figuring this out as you go. (Side note: I read every book set in Italy that I can get my hands on. Just finished Four Seasons in Rome by Anthony Doerr. Might make for a nice sunset or sunrise read with your giant coffee.)
Thanks for the book tip @jennifernewell2530 I will give it a go.🙌
Live the experience and enjoy the moments, fantastic sunsets. And you know when you're tearing down walls and tiles it is a lot easier to have a trash can or a wheelbarrow to throw stuff in as its coming off. Sure beats picking it up off the floor, some hits the floor but a lot less. Stay well, keep putting the videos out, they are great.
Good tip @frankn4618 . Thank you.👍
Perfect to end my evening, thanks!
Hi Richard, I'm new and just subscribed. Beautiful views from your property. I'm learning a lot from your videos, so thank you. --John, Burlington, West Virginia, Usa
Hi @oo-py9wk Thank you for subscribing and watching.🙌
I am enjoying your journey. You don’t have to rush to get things done. Completion is the step before starting over again. I’ve been in my house for more than 20 years and I’m redoing things we have already finished. Changes never end. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching @dono9879
I giggled watching you stride through the antiques market; not a purchase made. Us women would be loaded with stuff n still keep eyes peeled for more in probably 1/10th the time you took. 😂😂
😂 @SuperDutch64 . I think my next trip may be different. I did not know what to expect but think I will be spending quite a bit next time!🙌
I gave you a 'like' just for the late start and hangover. It's just what I would have done ; )
Enjoying this renovation, you are doing a great job.
Thank you @dtaylor9673😁
Incredibly inspiring thank you for sharing your journey

Great video Richard. It's funny how the people watching the people doing always have better plan for them. You're becoming quit the videographer. Thanks for your work!
Thanks @thomasbrynwood8592 I appreciate the feedback and tips and smile at some of the ideas that some have. I suppose it is hard as I don't show everything on camera and the landscape side is hard to show properly on TV as everything looks flatter than it actually is!😂
All caught up now . Keep em coming.
Thanks for the binge watch @WelshVilliageDad😂🙌
My favorite kind of day ...exploring a market and the town!
Its a great place - if you've not been its a great day out.🙌
@threeacresofmarche I haven't been but hope to soon. You're increasing my to do list!
Another enjoyable video thank you.
Thanks for watching @susbs
Italy is the best place in the world

I feel the same way, it's your project, I'm just happy to have to opportunity to see how you get on. The more important thing is that you are doing what you enjoy. That said, I can't wait to see how having a door leading out the other side is going to change the whole feel of it.👍😂

Thank you @CasaPeperoncino . That is lovely to read. I will try and keep it as honest and raw as I can without over sharing too much.😁
Watching intently, then thought I heard wrong so went back a bit, I’m near hay and yep all book shops, much prefer your current surroundings and culture 😊
I don't know why I mentioned it now looking back at the video. Yes, its nice, but I agree - this place is slightly better.😂
Your background music on this vid was very good Richard.
Thanks. I subscribe to Artlist for all the music.

Sounds like you had a nice trip and Italy worked its magic if that is how it left you feeling. Lets hope your dreams come to fruition one day soon.🤞
Love the channel mate. A little bit of me believes it’s me haha. One day, maybe : ) Cheers from Boldon, UK.

Thanks @Del213 . Yes, this is a family home to enjoy for many years to come.😊
Arezzo is great.

Fabulous thoroughly enjoyable loved it.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you @dawnedawe5337
Happy to see you got to Tuscany! Arezzo is fab for when you get round to decorating, but the market can be pricey, head into the permanent stores to find better bargains.
Thanks @nicolenienaber2974 . I will do that next time. Someone else suggested the very same...good tips! Thank you.

South Africa is the same, you can have terrible wiring without having a earthing system, but make one change and you have to replace all of it.😌
Twenty years ago we were making plans to move to that area ..my wife's grandparents came from there and Genoa... but unfortunatly ill health and accident put an end to that dream.

I have never been in a house in Italy that has outward opening doors. Lol
@@kdclothesNot a thing in NY either, but common in Florida. More hurricane resistant.
@@michaelplunkett8059 It's common all over Italy.
Dude! Your videomaking skills have taken a big leap forward. Well done.

Steel beam for a lintel/header will give you more head height for the French doors!
I agree @seamusegan9956 . I have not taken the render or brick away to see what I am dealing with yet but think a steel beam will give me lots more height.👍
You do you and take all the time you need/want. Don't lose any sleep over the whiners you're bound to get on social media.
It took a while for tiles to be delivered but I am filming all of that now.👍
Next time you head over to Arezzo you should take a short detour to Civitella en Val de Chiana….. beautiful.
Thank you @brianeaton3734 . I will head back over to that market again so thank you for the tip. I will add that to my explore list.👍
To save yourself time, you should lay down tarps so less cleanup. Might even put the wheel Barrel there to catch as much as you can.
Thanks @livingworkingoutsidebox
As it comes, it's not a race. The double doors onto a patio area would be my no.1 priority, especially with those sunsets, a nice haven once interior work begins.
It took a long time in permission...and now it is ordered it will be another long time in coming. Delivery in November, maybe December!😂🤦♂️
Great stuff Richard
Thanks @nautilusshell4969
Arezzo was a nicely done vlog
Thanks @simonkelly2339
Oh, would have liked to see the antiques market! ...did you find any treasures?
Hi @patriciagaribay2796 Yes, plenty of treasures but I was window shopping for when the house is past the building site stage. This market has an amazing eclectic collection but the main part is furniture.
Maybe try the charity shops? Assume they have them in italy? Good work you are doing....looking forward to the next scrap haul off :)
On one of the blogs I watch they go to a charity shop in Malan area at least once a month, you'd never believe how many bargains they have found.👍
They have a swap system at the local waste drop off place. Anything not broken is left to see if somebody else wants it - free. Lovely.
O melhor café 🎉 mas sem leite😂😂😂
I enjoy the whole process. Take your time. Not sure if you have to get permission but you could raise the roof in that one section to fit the door in. It should only change the pitch of the roof a little bit in that section. It would even be nice if you did about 2 meters wide and carried it out to give a slight awning over the door.
Hi @GalaxyZander . There would be planning permission required for that change. I am sure it would be no issue, but that process would need a lot of paperwork. Also, I think that an awning would have to come out of the allocation of space and it seems that no extentions are allowed under the current rules. I am sure there would be a way but I will try make it work with what is there first and fall back to the permission game/dance/merrygoround if I need to.😁
@@threeacresofmarche is this allocation thing an Italy thing or just in your area thing. Seems foreign to me the type of rules you are subject to.
Going by the comments I get this is similar to other parts of Italy (and other countries). I think extending an existing dwelling has one set limitations but knock down and start again can be looked at differently. I am no expert so can only tell from my experience.👍
Plenty of work ahead at the property, good luck. Hay-on-Wye of course is in Wales.
HI @columroche435, as soon as I posted this I double checked myself....I googled it as I just took it for granted that it was an English town and did not realise that it straddles the border. *apologies to all Welsh watchers.😊
James Hoffman just had a heart attack after seeing your coffee scene
😂 I just googled him @etymology3 That made me chuckle. I will reach out to see if he wants to colab on my next coffee clip segment.🙌
I always would prefer a kitchen door to the garden...
Me too @Ida-fz3ir . I think that will be the single biggest improvement to the flow of the place.🤞
did you learn Italian already? Thanks for the inspiring and professional videos
Hi @manuelafrank6406 I am learning as I go. Slow progress. I am at the understaning more than I can confidently reply to stage.👍
@@threeacresofmarche ok, I really understand. Ciao, una bella giornata
Put the lintel directly under the wall plate for max headroom and or form a internal step if you have enough room :)
Richard, Roof is mising one tile 2:57. Left top corner.
I'm sure demijohns will be ok as acarry on, once they lift the liquid ban.😂
@@threeacresofmarche I can always book another seat and dress it up as a small child 😂
😂🙌
design wise, doors should open to the outside where there is room, instead of taking up wall space inside
@@threeacresofmarche well just a bit more hammering, structural made easier....
It’s not the easy option, but you can raise the roof a bit to create height for the door. Just for that section.
Hi @jasperbrouwer . Ideally that would be a good route but the rules around those things were way to complex and costly so making the best from what is there seems the sensible, and less stressful, way to go.😂
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Thank you @mariushegli🙌
