Oh nice... got an Aunty Donna mention.
What about icicle daggers? No finger prints left behind. 😳
For me right now the video was posted 4 hours ago what sorcery is it that you posted this comment an hour before you posted the video
Oh I just realised you premiered this.
Magic.

Modern Rogue: "Everything is a knife."

I love they where actively sniffing glue as she was trying to explain everything
I know why
"SCIENCE!!" (Said high as balls on glue)
The two children in the back of the classroom as the teacher goes over the lesson...
in kindergarten.

@@UXASSAKY ok?
the injury counter is strong with this one
Her bandage wasn't there at the beginning of the video...
So technically back to *0* on that counter.
Well they do start sniffing glue at 2:20 ...
I find your fulsomeness impressive
commented before it premiered, so i was wrong but hey the childling at the end was very injured
@@RyanStonedonCanadianGaming She has a bandage because of the sandpaper. 40 grit will tear through the skin fairly easily

It isnt the end of the school year tho
It’s amazing how they sniff the glue and immediately get weird
Implying theyre not weird without glue vapors.
Wait, AFTER they sniff glue they get weird?

"everything is a knife if you try hard enough"
has the same air to it as
"everything is edible...once"
"everything is edible if you're not a coward"
Some things are edible multiple times.
On this episode of The Modern Rogue, Brian sniffs glue, Annaliese makes a fan, and Jason caresses Dress Pants Robot Man
I don't think anyone would be mad of they started doing top gear style intros like that
The Modern Rogue: Adults Acting Like Children.
Scam School: Children Acting Like Adults. (Josie)

They joke, but that’s about how I feel when my calculus teacher is talking
Lisa is an awesome Geek. Being an Aussie, when she drove that knife into the flower arranging foam, all I could think of was that I hoped she'd say, "That's not a knife, this a knife."
Annaliese: "If it gets fussy and you just want me to just try and figure it out, we can do that too…" I love her so much. 😂🥰
Yes, this dear woman deserves all the gold stars in the universe. You could literally SEE the vapours of patience radiating off of her. *coughs* or that was my glue, I don't know. Making knives out of cardboard is fuuuuuuu nnnnnn.........
Seriously though, I do make crafts and props, and CA glue/superglue/crazyglue WILL burn your eyes with vapour, so do be careful. This isn't "get high" glue, this is "low die" glue. Be safe everybody
I like how Brian just casually takes a big whiff of the container
8:04 I love how jason is using the cut gloves to handle cardboard
I find it uniquely apropos that TH-cam provided me with an ad for a personal injury attorney while I was watching this.
Jason intentiontally sniffing the glue like it's fine wine. Yeah, this year is off to a great start! There are very few jobs where "Professional Adult" can legitimately be listed on your resume as a job title. This is the main one.
Im pretty sure that experiment books where they live have an exception when they write to get help from an adult
As a wise man once said, "One can never have too many knives."
You got to be realistic about these things.
And, yet, literally everyone who sells knives knows this cannot be true.🤔
@@j.pocket i guess you've never met the Bloody Nine
@@christianslattery1954 I imagine no matter whom I meet, it would not stop a knife salesman from feeling as if he has too many knives and needs to sell as many as possible, though.
"one can never have too many knives" - man with too few fingers
Jason hard sniffing the knives is a reason why he's definitely one of my favorite people.
It was absolutely adorable watching them receive the stars.
"Why would you make anything else?
Anything's a knife
If you believe in yourself."
That sounds like evil Dr. Seuss.
"Why would you make anything else? Everything is a knife if you believe in yourself!"
This is the Disney musical I've been dying to see.
You guys should do more medical stuff with the emt couple, like splinting or moving patients on stretchers
Brian is definitely that cool English/history teacher who doesn't overly connect with the subject and instead of teaching spends the whole class talking about all the dumb stuff he did as a teenager.
What you think of hearing "modern rogues": tactical, crafty, quick thinking and resourceful
What a actual modern rogue is:a adult child playing with dangerous items because they're to old to be told not to
“Everything’s a knife if you believe in yourself!”
Ah yes, I see that “Surviving Edged Weapons” has taught them well.
I wanted to thank you guys. 2020 was very difficult for me and your channel and the various videos you shared with us helped keep me going and got me through some of the worst of it. I was always happy to see a new video from you guys and they never failed to make me laugh and take my mind off of things.
"mom said its my turn on the orbital sander"
"mom hes blowing sawdust all over me"
@2:17 I love how we're listening to Annalise explain everything and the boys are over on the side just casually sniffing the glue.
"He looks like the cool science teacher..." that'll sell you weed during detention
Everything is a knife according to Surviving Edged Weapons from Caliber Press
And there is a real risk of police encountering Satanic cultists
Is Surviving Edged Weapons replacing Rich Evans?
@@Synth_DIY BOTW fan ? A person of taste.
I love how each of them got high smelling the glue as she was talking. 😂😂
I worked at a place that made bulletproof helmets and used super glue in a few steps. Let me tell you, if you put a bunch of super glue on Kevlar and then put it in a industrial belt sander, the fumes would knock out a horse.
Also using a heat gun on super glue is incredibly potent.
the resident adults are a great addition to the modern rogue crew
"harder? I'll break off more of the tip!"
Day 2 of reminding The Modern Rogue to do a *radio* video.
Yesssss I just got into ham radio crash course and got my first radio a couple weeks ago
Like making a foxhole radio with a pencil and a razor blade?
A hearty approval of a guest with not ONE but TWO Red Dwarf patches!
We need more Annaliese!
"When you're in an airplane, you don't want shit falling off"
I'm with you so far...
I love how she warns them about fumes and they immediately sniff it
I wander if Brian ever thought that back with "SCAM SCHOOL!!" would turn into him doing 5th grade arts and crafts.
The glue sniffing moment on 2:20 is the best part of this!
Its always fun to see energy you guys bring to these videos, happy new year! Hope to see more content.
I so want "I am uncomfortable with this......let's make a knife" Brian Brushwood on a shirt now

"Middle East Desert of Shenanigans" is the next great cyber dystopia setting.
did this a while back with hardened paper but still am watching because it's modern rouge.
Every time I see these guys make weapons, I think of something my dad said when I was young.
"Give a child a sword-shaped stick, and he will become a man. Give a man a sword-shaped stick, and he will become a child."
loving the red dwarf patch very epic
Annaliese wearing a JMC patch, awesome 😀
Cardboard and CA glue (especially a real thin one like Krazy Glue) is the greatest college dorm prop building supply. I made a prop knife and a full scale 1911 to use as a blue gun with the stuff years ago.
I did enjoy that near the end of the glue history segment, the guys just started sniffing some glue.
The laughter from behind the camera at 20 minutes! It was great
This is the episode where the guys 'accidentally' get high on fumes.
It's nice to have a adult in the room and then you see in the corner of your eye "Jason Murphy sniffing glue" 🤣🤣🤣
Annaliese The Red Dward Patch OMG! Much love! Nice to see ya with the smegheads :P
I love how she is explainig CA glue and you two are sniffing the glue.
I heard Jason say scratch and sniff sooooo now I wanna see modern rogue diy scratch and sniff stickers 😎
Most underrated channel out there. How has it only got 1.3mil subscribers. Madness
You guys should make a video with Kiwami Japan. He makes knives out of everything.
I love how Annaliese is visibly uncomfortable with Jason's knife to the ChILD's throat.
You're right, Annalise IS a treasure.
Shanks Folk, sharpest craft episode eso far, I was glued to my phone the whole time.
never been so early that the video hasn't even been released yet
not saying ive done this today, last week is a diff story, but your method is a good start. Id suggest putting the CA glue in a syringe and doing one tube of the card board at once then move on to the next. def make them thinner in blade profile so the CA can flow better. ya had the right idea of taping off the other side so it wont leak out.
when shaping them look into a 1x30 belt sander.
Bryan channeling the Christmas Spirit of Macaulay Culkin with this haircut
Wow completely forgot about getting my name on the board until today, thanks for bringing those happy childhood memories back!
Is Brian really a science teacher? I will move to your district to have you teach my kid science.
lol the look on her face is priceless, watching these two go into a random tangent.
6:08 Name on the board but only for AWESOMENESS. And everyone gets their name on there at least once a week. It's cheaper than stickers. 😂😂

Fan kul med svenskar här!
Taking paper cuts to the next level. Cuz were a MODERN ROGUE!!!!!!!
Annaliese is correct about the airplane parts. More specifically, the glue is lighter on fabric and wooden parts and if it gets shot off by a bullet it only breaks at point of impact, where airplane rivets hold sections of aluminum together at points, creating weak sections
This was really cool, I’m surprised by how well the knives cut!
Did not expect a random Aunty Donna shoutout! They've really gotten famous recently
I know I am late for the premiere but thatd fine. This video was fun to watch. Thank you, you guys.
This video gave me so much anxiety. And I love every moment of it 🤣
Love that Red Dwarf patch! I have the same exact same one on my laptop case.
Haha Jason with the fumes. Oh I know. Its good stuff. 😂
Omg I love Annaliese's Red Dwarf badges
1:30 _we're not even 2 minutes in, Brian,_

12:56 there's been weirder injuries
14:26 she's just speechless
16:20 16:37 I have not felt more scared for someone since the time y'all went to the ER to get stitches
17:12 ah shit here we go again

22:10 gotta love those psycho jason moments
I'd like to thank the Jupiter mining company for training Anneliese in the creation of paper product weaponry, and coming back to earth to teach it to these two Smeg Heads how.. everything is a weapon!
Around 2:30 when they're just sniffing the glue. I felt that.
Love the Red Dwarf apron
I saw you guys sniffin' that glue, gotta love the look on Brain's face @ 2:26
There is nothing quite like shushing your changeling as you slowly enter your cardboard weapon into it's jugular.
Tonight, on "Forged in Super Glue"
Doug: "So, Brian, let's talk about your little corrugated cardboard knife thing, here..."
9:15 When you chase away the Adult
18:05 your tips keep breaking because you're using the wrong side of the orbital grinder, you should be using your left side so effectively you are sharpening away.
You guys should make cardboard swords and duel and see who is the better swordsman
edit: thank you person who gave me a like, I genuinely appreciate it
2nd edit: OMG 9 LIKES!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!
Just a shoutout for the red dwarf pin on the lady :)
If you sprinkle baking soda over C.A. glue it instantly hardens and you can build up layers to fix cracks or just build up on the glue.
Aunty Donna is a true gem
Love the show guys, I’ve watched every single episode up to date :)
Fun Fact: Heavy exposure to CA glue fumes can cause you to develop a severe allergy to it similar to latex.
So yeah good ventilation and a chemical respirator might be wise in this use case or any where you are using this large of an amount of CA glue. Basically resin casting procedures.
i laughed at the 2 children in the room sniffing the glue @2:20
