Now that I think of it, there actually an anime with a protagonist that has a gun for a face. I believe it was called 'No guns life' Don't ask me what it's about, not my genre of anime.
Just in time to be used to fall asleep. Warcrim- Wait, there's no war crimes???? Edit: Nearly 3 minutes into it, I realized that marine count is all that matters in any challenge run.
16:20 Didn't even need to do that. When you get into that area, fly to the right. The mission literally has you circle around and the place you stop at is to the right of where you started from.
Believe it or not but I've seen the chieftain on crow's nest kill himself. On legendary runs I use a drop shield to blockade the door, and on one occasion he let off his hammer directly into the shield, I flew up the ramp away from the blast and when I walked back down he was just dead on the ground.
I'm fairly certain you don't need to kill as many enemies in gravemind as you did. Might be possible to do it without any kills. I watched a laso run recently that involved a despawn trick in the first room, and when I did laso myself I was able to use a similar tactic to prevent later waves spawning in. The Breaking Benjamin room at the end can also be skipped. If you slip past the hunters as they come in, you can just wait in the final area high up. The game will keep checking if the enemies are alive and won't let you proceed, but after about 11 minutes it stops checking and will allow you to trigger the cutscene to end the mission. This is how it was done earlier this month when Jervalin did deathless laso
I think you might be able to lure enemies into killing each other in gravemind but I don't even really remember the mission so I don't think my senile brain is very reliable.
I isually play Halo really slowly and methodically attacking all enemies and hiding and running away a lot (war is scary I don't want to get hurt) but I once played through the trilogy as a more run-and-gun type of thing and it was a completely different experience. A lot more fast-paced and epic than the battle field looting I had become accustomed to. A very interesting change of pace.
I wish spectres were in more of the Halo games as well. Also you can give the elites carbines or beam cannons in the Tartarus fight and they will stay up with Johnson and snipe the brutes. I played coop with my brother, two spectres in that room with a complement of councillors and zealots in the vehicles 😂. With the rage/angry skull they fire those carbines as fast as the smg!
I did halo ce as a pacifist although i used skulls but i feel that it could be easier without skulls because grenades are awful rng and i spared infection forms except on 343 guilty spark where i let them jump on me Edit: final note warthogs give you the kill in halo MCC i had to do this without vehicle backup
you really should, amazing story, gameplay, and soundtrack. a new halo game comes out this year too. best part, you can play halo 1-4 plus 2 spin off games for only 40 dollars by buying the masterchief collection on steam. it goes on sale pretty often too.
*remembers the story of Halo: Combat Evolved* I mean, sure you didn't SHOOT anyone, but not kill? How many actually survived the ultimate goal of the game?
I hate to break it to you, but you could have made Two Betrayals way easier on yourself by clipping the ghost through the broken door. The speedrun strat for that part is mostly pacifist anyway.
I would imagine it'd be very clumsy and every mistake would be worse than the last, it wouldn't hurt until you lost balance once and then it's all so so very downhill.
If you run past them you should be able to activate the console right by the door, sprint past the covenant walking through in the next room and skip all of the Sentinels
There's a really good spot at the back of the room where the Elite with the sword can't hit you, and you can position the 2 Elites and 2 Grunts to friendly fire themselves. If there is a survior, there's a few enemies that patrol outside of the room you can aggro to do it again.
If you give us viewers amenities like timestamps to increase our viewing experience we'll start to expect... what's the word? Qua... quaint? No.... quality, that's the word. We'll start to expect quality out of these videos. Godspeed you rectify this issue. Regards, Concerned viewer
Where'd you hear this one? Granted you'd have to go EXTREMELY out of your way to get an Energy Sword and 1v1 a Hunter, but I found nothing that says that's the case at all.
No worries, I'll be honest my rational decision making when I enter that room goes out the window. Even on Legendary as soon as that guitar riff kicks in it's time to either kill everyone or myself.
You obviously played on MCC why didn’t you show the kill count shown after every mission 🤔🤔🤔 Is it theoretically able to beat halo with 18 kills or did you actually do it
Sorry I just now saw this after 15 years, was adding this video to a playlist. The reason I didn't show the kill count was, to be blunt, I didn't even know that exists. Outside of this video I think I had like ~6 hours in the MCC? I just used to play all the games on the XBox 360 so I didn't know that was there. I did do all of this, and honestly if you're curious on it's legitimacy another big Halo channel did a video very similar to this and he did most of these strategies, although in Co-Op th-cam.com/video/b8YKacEI-z0/w-d-xo.html
With the game breaking bugs? Honestly not too much. I think maybe ~5-10 in total. Without them (also known as playing the game normally), like at least 150-250. It's a massive step up.
If you ask me 5 definitely doesn't exist, 4 is a fever dream, and Reach/ODST doesn't apply because it's a prequel, hence not part of the main series. People refer to it as "The Halo Trilogy" because it's the mainline series of Bungie for Master Chief, not because it's the only games. We aren't going to start throwing in Halo Wars and Halo Spartan Assault into videos.
Lord Hood: "Master Chef, you mind telling me what you're doing on that ship?"
Chef: "Sir, conscientiously objecting to this fight."
He has a gun for a face but can not shoot. Truly this is the ultimate metaphor for the Human Condition. Bravo.
no
Wait I didn't realize you and gunface are two different person... I watched ton of your vids assuming you and gunface are one single person...
Gg ggg
Maybe he doesn't keep it loaded? He'd have to find ammo as he goes though
Now that I think of it, there actually an anime with a protagonist that has a gun for a face. I believe it was called 'No guns life'

Yeah, I think I realized that ~10 minutes in, but sucken cost fallacy hit hard and I didn’t want to re-record it.
Good to see that mittensquad's second channel is still active.
Is that a joke or true
he fucking rippen mittensquad off
@@YankstaNZ There's enough space on youtube for two dead on the inside challenge runners, especially considering how infrequently the two upload.
Like Sseth and Mandalore.
We all know mitten squad and gun face are the same person.
@@YankstaNZ and that's a problem because...? All I see here is more content to enjoy.
Valerian's IQ was indeed the correct answer.
He successfully turned Halo into the experience of being a 12-year-old playing dodgeball who can't throw worth shit.
It's me. I was that 12-year-old.
Same
14:04 The jeffery part killed me lmao
Why does channels with low subscribers have the coolest ways to play games .
Keep it up dude love your content
16:15
Hey letting you know, you don't have to wait for the phantom. You can just fly to the end of the mission and skip the entire phantom part.
Nice video Davey.
No, no, no. Halo: combat evolved. Halo 2: combat evolveder. Halo 3: combat evolvederer, finish de fight.
I was so close with my guess of 20 kills!
I always end up giving the halo 3 marines rocket launchers and fule rod canons. Nothing better when you have a transport hog.
Too underrated.
oh this is a nice thing to get cozy to, nice
21:18 you can despawn the wraith drivers by returning to the prison after god gets the scarab.

So, would you say this was easier or harder than the no damage runs?
Oh wait, you're not Mitten Squad... uh, nevermind.
Awesome job gunface.
If you count Guilty Spark not canonically dying shouldn't you count whatever crew the big AA gun has?
22:25 aww I hoped you'd call it halo combat evolved even further beyond plus ultra
Tactical shoving, now thats a new set of words i'd never thought I would hear^^
OMG that elite actually had both his needlers, you telling me ai dual wielding isn't broken for everyone?
I'm really enjoying this violent criminal organization content.
I don't want to overshare anything, but I want you to know that I stopped sinning to watch this video instead.
I’m glad to hear you aren’t mixing wool and cotton anymore. Truly disgusting behavior.
Indeed, it is good to see someone cease worshipping false idols to instead watch a real one, Davey.
Amen Brother
This is a good video.
I don’t kill anyone.
I have people who do this for me.
he's an arms dealer
I like to call this run "But the aliens are so cool looking!~"
Violent criminal organization indeed

Actually, you don’t need to kill the brutes in the second tower. It’s hard but I got the arbiter up there. 5 less kills.
8:35 Uh, I don't think the nails would bother you much if your shoes are iron bricks... assuming you stay upright at least...
"Hyper Lethal"
so this is the doc dufresne run
Watching this channel, commentary and voice gives me MittenSquad flashbacks. Like your voice is so similar to his.

I would imagine it'd be very clumsy and every mistake would be worse than the last, it wouldn't hurt until you lost balance once and then it's all so so very downhill.
Ok the ark mission you could’ve given them a rocket and a fuel rod gun and they will kill everything
These game titles are great tbh.
Wait, so did this get deleted or not?
I had to contact TH-cam, but it's back up now.
I was going to watch this, but a violent criminal organization told me not to.
Guilty spark becomes cool in the forge books
You just need to dodge the torrents of flood spores 😆
Alternative title: MCC Pacifist%
ooh
I feel like this is what Rocket sloth would make
Watched a few of his videos while editing, have to give the dude credit, he has a fuck ton of determination lol
Yes, but at what cost?
How exactly did you get past the 4 Sentinels at the start of Two Betrayals?
If you run past them you should be able to activate the console right by the door, sprint past the covenant walking through in the next room and skip all of the Sentinels
How did you free Keyes without killing the golden elite with the sword in the room?
There's a really good spot at the back of the room where the Elite with the sword can't hit you, and you can position the 2 Elites and 2 Grunts to friendly fire themselves. If there is a survior, there's a few enemies that patrol outside of the room you can aggro to do it again.
Do this in sc1

I'm going to rule out and ignore all difficult/interesting parts of this challenge. Lol.
There's nothing more interesting then a room that says "Kill 12 guys" and just going "Yep I have to kill 12 guys there goes the counter"?
Now do it laso
How hard would infinite be tho
