The hunters in this game actually feel like they have always been intended to be like, they are genuinely terrifying. They hurt. A lot. Like, a lot. They are honest to God horrifying. Even on lower difficulties. They hit hard, they are actually really good at protecting their backs and other parts of their bodies, and when they rage upon their brother’s death, they go fuckin ham. I love them and I hate them as it always should’ve been
First time I've ever focused on making sure both of them are nearly dead before one is killed. It's easier dodging two than dealing with an enraged one.
Yeah I couldn't do my typical tactic of hit them in the back and bait them to do that turn around attack. you can still do that to the first one (not on the special hunters though) but when the other one goes into a rage that's not really an option anymore.
I found it pretty easy to just shoot them in the knees, it feels a little bit like cheating , but the knee weak spot is pretty big and it only takes a one or two clips from a mangler to down it.

I’m doing my own (non recorded) “challenge” run of using only the Sidekick for the main missions. And it’s actually not much of a challenge. That thing is amazing. I did a few side objectives with other guns just so I could see how they felt, and honestly I prefer the Sidekick to pretty much all other weapons. The Commando is a close second but the only thing that could beat the Sidekick in my mind is the DMR. Commando’s close but it’s not the DMR.
I love using the Sidekick, both in multiplayer and in the campaign. That low bloom is incredible, there's definitely a few other weapons I prefer but it's really high up there for me.

Considering that you use all equipment, fusion coils and melee weapons I kinda think that the challenge should be named "can you beat legendary halo infinite without shooting" or without guns (and grenades) or something. Still this is incredibly impressive tho, you've earned a sub here
Against Hyperius and Tovarious there are some marines you can save near one of the AA guns (I forgot which), save them after you're done with the 3rd AA gun. In the hills above the AA gun (either eastern most or western most, again I dont remember) you can find a volatile skewer. Give it to the marines and the twin brutes are super easy, just keep their focus on you while your marine buddy does work with the skewer.
I played Legendary through with just a Mangler. Now I feel inept lmao, nice work Davey. If you're confused about Halo 5's story, basically, Cortana comes back to life, turns evil, takes control of a bunch of massive Forerunner constructs called Guardians (the things that destroy the Brute homeworld) and while she's at it, turns most of the AI across the universe to her side, and that's about it, although very summarized.
For the purposes of future runs in the first mission you don't have to defeat the enemies guarding the generators you could just destroy them and leave
Lost Planet as a game series was weakened by a grappling hook, but only because 3 replaced the Anchor with a grappling hook. The Anchor was a better grappling hook tho, so it's only made worse on a technicality.

I think I know how the glitch happens, when you grapple the game moves you down into the ground, normally you would pop back up but when an enemy is very close you that can’t get stunned, the enemy’s foot literally shove you into the ground
My Titanfall 2 knowledge kicked in when I heard there would be a grapple hook, odd part is that Titanfall 2 is unplayable without a mod that is unavailable to console players (which is what I am) and I miss the game, it was really fun and it was fun having giant mechs

Brute Chieftains in somewhat close quarters are just pains in the ass to deal with. I've been playing on Normal, and for the record I beat all of Bungie's games on Legendary multiple times and I beat Halo 4 on Heroic (Im not enough of a masochist to do more than that serious Halo 4's Promethean combat sections are unbearable) but Infinite, Christ I don't know if I'm just getting old or if the game is actually just harder but I don't think I've died on Normal difficulty like this since I was 9 playing the Library 😂.
It took me several hours to kill Tremonius on Legendary, without doing any sort of challenge, PURELY because the game decided save checkpoint where both jackals are right in front of me, already shooting, in a fully open space, and Tremonius has a clear path to charge me. So many deaths just because of that checkpoint
Tbh I'm tempted to see/do a "Zoom & Boom" run Nothing but grapple and fusion coils, Skewers, and Rockets. If you can't lunge at them, blast them to kingdom come. Polar opposite lethal measures 💥
Anyone gonna tell him that the arcane sentinel beam is way more broken than the volatile skewer, and is obtained from an easier high value target than the brute chieftain with the volatile skewer? After all the pain he suffered through, I think it’s best to only whisper about it lol
If you made it a melee only run instead, not only would it make it less tedious, particularly due to the gravity hammer, it would also reduce the amount of enemies that you couldn't defeat. Would probably lose the core throwing though.....

I dont bother using the other abilities. I only use grapple. But before you get on to me. I AM ON FUCKING CONTROLLER. WHICH REQUIRES 2 BUTTOM PRESSES THEN A THIRD TO ACTIVATE IT. AND I HIGHLY RELIED ON MOBILITY.
I on the throwing booming stuff is no different than tossing a grenade. I can grapple a grenade, so how it it different? Other than a small vulnerability window. That said, I use grapple bombing as much as Spartanly possibly. Sentinels are so much fun.
If you can hold coils why didn't you make a mountain of coils and when the first boss walks into them, just throw one at the pile and kill him. I did that before I knew anybody else has that idea as well and was so proud of myself. It's legal for you too.

The Sniper-back is even better. 100% accuracy at 200 meters, it’s the same range as jackal snipers.
