I owned a Kia Sedona 2017 LX...I put almost 20,000 miles never have any single issue with my minivan. The mechanic I talked before maintained a Kia Sedona 2015 that it had 500,000 miles.....the used his van for Uber & lyfe....he used Mobil 1 synthetic oil & filter & it drives flawlessly...the mechanic told me it was a solid minivan.... Honda Odyssey has too much hype they have transmission problems....the center console of my SEDONA it is really better than Honda & toyota sienna...the seats really comfortable.... you could win the race in the freeway while driving the sedona :-)

I have just bought 2019 Odyssey because of my previous experience But honestly Sedona has really nice cool features over Odyssey Second row seat Gloves compartment Front desk panel And so on I really like it I wish I did more research on Kia Only one thing missing in this video Where is spare tire ? These Kia Sedona are really good. However, it is hard getting an LX with this package. :( We got the 2018 Kia Sedona LX with no packages. No leather seats, bigger screen, or sun shades.
My wife and I just purchased a used 2017 Sedona LX with everything that in this video but exterior is black. Same interior. 18k miles and away paying 20500 out the door. They are out there. Least in the Indianapolis area.
I was looking for how to install the car seats. Where were the anchors located, can you fit 3 child safety seats in the 3rd row, things of this nature.
Very nice video thanks for that, but just one input when you are reviewing any car or van just have 2 minutes in the end to compare it with rest of the competetition like honda odyssey or toyota sienna or dodge caravan and a quick comparison. i will never spend 34000 dollars for kia, i got odyssey with 423000 kms on it. you should also give your comparisons so that all the companies are at toes and give the best at reasonable price. thanks
It is an LX but it has the optional leather seats. Check out Kia’s website and experiment with the build and price program. It’ll show you all the options.

I used to do reviews in the past, i know it happens, but you should be better prepared. Will give you few clues. Single people dont buy minivans, this is a family vehicle and needs to be reviewed as such. To review a family vehicle, if you are not a parent, you need to watch some reviews from parents reviewing similar vehicles,to see what they focus on. You spent 35 minutes focusing on details,which a parent dont care about at all. At least carefully study the specs from the website in the very least,which you never did,otherwise you would focus on the things you read. You never focused on the selling points of the vehicle either, not to mention the key features, which this vehicle is packed with. This things while not looking the best is packed with tons of new technologies which you just mention,instead of reviewing in details. While saying all thing , dont get me that im all negative, in fact i like your energy you spent filming 35 minutes, so i honestly wish that you improve. As i said, nobody is perfect and we all learn, so learn to focus on the proper things. Next time, tighten up the review, focus only on the needed things and the new technology feature and demo the key things in details, while cutting time from the things nobody care of.

Comfort is easy - spend time describing the seats, by the way also learn the terminology - are first and second row just seats or captain chairs - you should answer this. I know the answer already, but there is difference. Headroom, legroom, trunk space, foldability/seat configuration (space is a huge thing in the family vehicles segment). Then safety - go all the way for any feature falling in the category. Basically - first study the website for this make and model - they listed pretty much everything you should start with. For anything extra - watch other reviewers - there are wonderful 2018-2019 Sedona youtube reviews done by dads. If you are not a parent, will be difficult for you, so watch what dads talk about. Finally you go for the additional features - towability, AWD and so on. Also - I know what is to film and talk at the same time, as I do it all the time, so for some of the scenes it would be great to get a tripod - helps alot. And finally - if you feel like some scene is not done well or could be improved, don't hesitate to do multiple takes. No idea what program you edit with, but there are some easy programs to help you start with, so if you have multiple takes for the same scene, you have a choice to make a better video. But seriously - first spend time memorizing everything listed for this make and model on the website, including everything listed for this trim and the other trims and compare your trim to the others, then spend time watching other reviewers on youtube doing reviews for this make and model and other makes and models. Minivans are very specific. If you want to start - better get a regular sedan, so Kia Rio, Kia Forte, Honda Civic, Mazda3, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra - these are the compacts - the ones people mostly get. If you are not a parent, you would be easier first to review one of these. Once you are comfortable, go for a SUV, so Kia Rondo, Kia Sorento, Toyota Highlander, Mazda CX5, Honda CRV. When you are comfortable with this too, you could go for something more specific, like an all-terrain vehicle like Jeep Wrangler or a truck like Chevy Colorado/Silverado, Ford F150 or a minivan like the Kia Sedona, Honda Odissey, Toyota Sienna or Chrysler Pacifica. Also very important - check other reviewers video duration - these are usually kept in the interval 10-20 minutes max. People rarely have the time to watch longer videos, especially the parents :) This is a tricky part, I know, so it will take you several takes to figure out the proper speed at which you should talk, also will take you time deleting lots of things you wanted to mention, pauses between phrases and so on in order to make it. Go see on the TV or youtube any video vox-pop or just a reportage (news especially) - copy the style of the reporter and the video. This is important, but will help you alot. And last - you should mention any high-tech new goodies, if any and Sedona is packed with lots of them. But as I said - go first study the Kia website. No matter if you use your smartphone in full or not - there are cool connectivity features for example - you could demo some of them. Oh yeah - you should demo at least half the things you talk about for a max effect.
