Nice ride. I built my Evo x over last winter. Car made 707 wheel 504 tq at 37 psi on mustang. 2.2L bored not stroked. Pte 6466 full ETS kit. Waste gates open at 35 psi, I see 40-42 psi commonly. I’m also stock driveline no issues.

You really changed my mind to thinking about selling my Evo X Final Edition in Diamond White. The pretty penny that can be made versus never having it again or the slight, more involvement of daily driving a turbo manual car just makes it all worth it. I don't know, crazy mentality. Evo boys, need help and inspiration. After getting a Rav4 with the significant other and daily driving mindlessly to work, it is sad losing the want to drive sometimes and be lazy or not add mileage. Need some motivation. I do not want to have the car go away, I still feel a heart loss selling my 2005 Subaru STI that was mint, then years later got the Evo X. Crazy, crazy world.

I personally like my 15 better because of blinkers on mirror and chrome interior package and sight n sound packaging but it sucks they took out recaro seats in that year🤷🏻♂️and doesn’t come with 2 pieces rotors like the mr but easily all changeable…..

@@tenaki8 I never said anything like that.. People buy VLANDs because the OEM headlights/taillights look like shit and they're fairly reliable with very close fitment with OEM. Remember that the Evo is not a unique car and is just an upgraded base model econobox deep down - this is coming from someone who owns a 2014 GSR.
It a great engine, just need to throw some money at it, as to the older gen the motors are over engineered and can throw alot of power to it with out opening the engine.... I 🤔

Is every Evo X a lancer ? I’ve seen memes of the older evos like the 9s where they get pissed if you say nice lancer, so is every Evo a lancer ? So like Evo x lancer ?
The Lancer Evolution is a model, just based off the lancer. The differences between the Lancer and the Lancer Evolution are very prominent, mainly what is under the body, aka the engine, drivetrain, etc. Yeah it's a running joke to call Evos a lancer but everyone knows that it's not the case. People can really say the same to WRX owners and call it an Impreza, but they already get enough shit by being called vape gods and all.
Clackson on top gear tested one these car and in a straight it beat a lambo but in the real world driving he put it in 4th gear at around 2000 rpm he raced it against Britains slowest car and it was losing.Thats turbo cars for you and ive had alot of jdm cars i used to import them and even the mighty godzilla was boring because of this and this is all turbo cars not just jdm.

I had a 2.2L ERL motor on my 2012 GSR coupled with a 6266. 650awhp and it was so fun to feel the constant pull in the RPM range.
Love the EVO X mine is the MR, I'm looking to get a second EVO, the GSR next, and I'm keeping them both for a long time.

That’s an unknown answer. To many variables, should last a long time but that depends on how well it was built tuned maintained and driven
