I’m dealing with a wound now (that won’t heal) because of lack of circulation. I ate a bad American diet growing up (lived on carbs!) and now paying for it. I’ve changed my diet too this past year. I’m supposedly not pre diabetic (I was close to it) but still have venous disease. I’m eating lots of veggies and fruits, don’t smoke, don’t drink, don’t eat carbs, try to eat low fat but still have issues. When you get over 65 it’s hard to avoid disease. It comes on quick so take care of your health NOW before it’s too late.
If I were you, I would fast for a few days, under medical supervision, in order to put your body into full regeneration mode and make sure no bad food gets in, for a while. Before you do this, you would want to go on the keto diet in order to fat-prime your body. Obviously, not medical advice, but look into it yourself. Also, did you do a biopsy?
@@SebastianTheHappyCrab no biopsy but going to drs and they recommended wound care at a hospital nearby. My dr just made a referral and they will call me for an appointment very soon. It’s feeling a little more hopeful. I think your idea of a fast is a good idea. I may try it. Perhaps drink juices only. Perhaps even raw veggies. At least no meat as just today Apple News said 2 slices of ham a day can increase your diabetes, even eating chicken can. Fish is best. Accordingly, I’ve been eating terribly till about last February when I got test results back and started to change. Well thanks for your advice.

Thank you Doctor I did lean from you give more education today and remind me all the things I should to take care myself to live longer and healthy this is priceless ❤.
Beans, carrots, dark chocolate, dark teas are high in oxylates. Not all of us can handle the lectins, phytates in beans. A grain free diet has helped my autoimmune disease.
I had the same problem. Kidney pain from calcium oxalate for 3 years. Started taking potassium citrate, magnesium citrate, and calcium citrate. Kidneys pain free after 2 months.
I don't eat meat or dairy. I eat beans all the time. No problem if I don't eat too many - 1/2 cup a day. All plant foods contain protein, some more than others. Plants have vitamins, minerals & fiber (meat does not have these).
I am a vegan, non smoker or drinker, very busy, fairly fit 62 yo woman (on HRT) but my cholesterol is 257. I took statins for 3 months and could hardly walk after just a few weeks. Not all cholesterol is due to diet

I make a bean dish. The basic ingredients are: fresh chopped onion, fresh chopped garlic. Fry onion first, then low heat to sauté garlic in extra virgin olive oil. Add can of black beans (the only bean i Don't drain or wash), can green beans, chik peas, kidney beans, i rinse them 3 or 4 tmes in can. I get light red kidney beans and wash until no more red liquid. Small can chopped mild green chilies, 1/2 bar cream cheese (i tear it in pieces), parmesan cheese, mexican cheese from Albertsons. I also get non-gmo frozen corn by flavRpak. Then optional: 2 tbs. Hemp hearts, 3 pinches tumeric, 2 or 3 pinches cayenne pepper, dried ground leeks, fresh ground black pepper, celery seeds about 2 pinches, light sprinkle cumin, black sesame and white sesame light sprinkle, dried parsley, basil, light sprinkle poppy seeds, paprika. La Victoria red taco sauce mild. You can add or subtract from this list based on your tastes and health needs. I always have at least the tumeric and cayenne and black pepper and paprika. I usually add the hemp seeds. The rest i was trying to get as many healthy plant foods in this dish. The spices count as plants. I'm a great lover of corn even though it is not good for you. I also add a can of drained, chopped asparagus when i have it. I love it. I first made it when i was out of something to cook and just started adding things i like; beans and cheese and chilies. It kind of just grew from there to include many healthy ingredients. If you use hard cheeses like Gouda, parmesan, and cheddar even healthier. I'm not a perfectionist or anal about strictly only whole foods. I just aim for trying to add healthy items to my diet. You could add shredded carrot and chopped celery. The possibilities are endless. I counted 21 plant foods. And that makes it super easy to get the suggested 30 plants a week. The more plants, the better. It makes a big skillet that lasts me for 3 or 4 days. Maybe I'm weird, but it works for me. For stir fry, i use EVO, chopped zuchinni, chopped yellow squash, chopped garlic and onion, shredded carrot, 2 pinches tumeric, black pepper, and dried parsley and basil. Yummy! You can add guacomole and or sour cream to top if desired. Or throw it in a taco.
Are you sure this much food eating from a can is healthy? So many chemicals come with your food and some may cause Parkinson's disease or shakey hands😢 Also, pesticides are another trouble from beans to veggies but lately, if I haven't got frozen chickpeas then bought in a can very rare. Thanks for the recipe🙏⭐️💯

@@S_Bellew most diabetics have loss of sensation in their feet due to neuropathy and applying heat could be dangerous since they may not feel the heat.
I have diabetes for many years now yesterday my toe has turned blue and the top of my foot is very red but getting my self to the Dr and pray that I can get it sirted
Start taking cayenne pepper (to increase metabolic rate) and some supplements that cause circulation. A good one (for the periphery areas like your toe) is bilberry and grape seed extract. There’s a host of leg circulation formula, supplements out there and one is iherb you can order from quickly/fast delivery. Massage your foot, and wake it up by walking as well to pump your blood. Point your toes over and over. That brings blood circulation to your foot. Fight it with all you got! Try different methods like sonic vibration red light devices (Iherb has a cosmetic one), hot and cold water fomotations are also helpful if there’s swelling. You want to try to get circulation and sensation. At the very least for pain and regaining circulation-a tub of rice and beans-stick your foot in it and move around to gain sensation. It sounds like you need a disability clinic which your dr could prescribe. A tens unit which would give your toes a small shock or acupuncture are possible treatments to bring back circulation. But first access the situation by making a drs. appointment.

Dear Dr. Li. Thank you soooo much for your information which is very helpful. Your knowledge is phenomenal and truly appreciated. Blessings to you and your family
Dr Li. Hi from a reader of your books, this was excellent! Well worth the 35 minutes. It should be pretty similar but consider doing a video on varicose veins
Could you do a video on Venous Insufficiency and the foods or supplements that can help it? It would really help out to hear your point of view on this subject, surprisingly there aren't many videos or knowledge available online on how to treat it with food and diet. I usually find some "easy fix" videos that suggest Gotu Kola or Diosmin but i feel like something is missing, and that i can't find anyone who describes the whole picture and how to organize a diet to fully heal this illness (if it's possible), or at least stop it from getting worse. I would really really appreciate if you'd consider doing a video on this topic! (i really appreciate your videos on books so far, they have been very helpful in helping my parents get in better shape and health. Thank you!)
@@littleboots9800 jumping makes the symptoms worse. Gravity pulls the blood in the veins against the course it makes to travel up to the heart. So a rebounder wouldn't work. I guess it would be good to help with lymphatic drainage but it makes blood pool in the veins more so it doesn't work for vein problems
I discovered by accident that smoking pot makes heart rate go up but blood pressure plummet in just a few minutes. How can that be? I think it must be vasodilation (blood vessels opening up). That is, if a pump (the heart) speed goes up but the downstream pressure drops, the pump must be relatively unloaded. I'd invite others to test this finding. I think it would make a good PhD thesis.

I will eat the food you recommend.
My feet numb most of the time, my legs get crammed in the night when I stretch.
What could be the best help? I do have worry.
It hard to get to the helpful foods for holding a medical class first because you know so much but thanks !
This was a exceptionally excellent video! Thank you so much for your time!
Thank You A lot! I am in my 70s and still work! I will certainly add some foods You Suggested
Bravo❤
Thank you Doctor I did lean from you give more education today and remind me all the things I should to take care myself to live longer and healthy this is priceless ❤.
Beans, carrots, dark chocolate, dark teas are high in oxylates. Not all of us can handle the lectins, phytates in beans. A grain free diet has helped my autoimmune disease.
doesn't cooking them eliminate the harm from oxalates...
@@anitaparker9831 I don't know about cooking, but eating them with dairy is supposed to help bind oxylates.
Watch his video about lectins, it started from an old myth. Lectins actually hold your body together, you wouldn’t be alive without lectins.
Does Atorvastatin have side effects ? Walking ?
No. I take that.
Never had problems walking. 😊
Informative
Dr. Li I can never find the recipe you often mention😂where would I find them🙏Love your guidance to better health❤️
And yoga poses, esp inverted poses!!! Hugely beneficial to circulatory system!
Legs up the wall &/or up on couch etc
Yoga poses are hugely rejuvenating
This is an exceptionally good video. Will follow the advice.
Thank you Dr. Li! ❤ Your work and your videos are much appreciated!
Amen. Abba Father, sorry that I have been distracted from my total dedication the past few days. O Holy Spirit please help me to to recover from the distractions the evil one is determined to deceive me with. I ask this in the Owernof the Blood of Yeshua. ❤❤❤
Thank You so Very Much Doctor William, for your Sharing your Knowledge and Wisdom to Help the Society for a Better Living and Health and Longer Life,Thanks Again Dr.
So many chemicals come with your food and some may cause Parkinson's disease or shakey hands😢
Also, pesticides are another trouble from beans to veggies but lately, if I haven't got frozen chickpeas then bought in a can very rare. Thanks for the recipe🙏⭐️💯
1) cut carbs,
2) take salt with full minerals...Himalayan, etc,
3) proper fats (think sardines, free-range-eggs, etc.),
3) Get sun, walk barefoot outside, totally dark bedroom to sleep. Bed is not for Television; sleep, sex only.
4) never eat more than twice daily...humans aren't designed to "live to eat, but rather, eat to live".
Ok...send me a $$ check...I just saved your life! LOL...I won't hold my breath.
Saturated fats ARE NOT our enemy.. this guy had made some good points...dome wrong. Period.
Are you kidding? Im one person all that would last me a month or more. I don’t even use can stuff Tks but no tks
So what is the result of this meal?
It seems like a very tasty dish, thank you for sharing.
I am learning so much from you. Thank you so much. My stomach looks flatter and less bloated already! Just had my steel cut oats. They were soooo good and I feel amazing!!! Thanm you so much
Also purchase a foot heating pad and sleep with feet on it every night . Use only the low setting. Heat improves circulation to the feet.
I like that idea!
@@donnalee2310 not good for diabetics though
@@wendymilam9914- why?
@@S_Bellew most diabetics have loss of sensation in their feet due to neuropathy and applying heat could be dangerous since they may not feel the heat.
I have diabetes for many years now yesterday my toe has turned blue and the top of my foot is very red but getting my self to the Dr and pray that I can get it sirted
Don't want to frighten you but it sounds like kit may need to be removed. You left it too long.
Please consider a keto diet. And try your best to control your glucose. Good luck
@@sandramace648 Sandra this is going to be very hard but a lot of us will be praying for you to have a great outcome.Keep us informed as to what happens and just try some of the suggestions to improve your health.
I had a bad toe issue about six years ago and was scheduled for amputation. I saw a Chinese Doctor and prescribed me do flushing twice a week for six weeks. I did and I kept my leg till now. It is a Chinese approach to cleaning the colon to start healing.
Get up regularly and do a little walk about if at a desk for long periods!
Thanks for your care and compassion ❤️
Thank-you for great information young man, keep doing what do we lame people need all the help to last little longer.
Dear Dr.
A wonderful fresh presentations of how I can improve my health.
Thank you Dr Li
Thanks Dr Li. You’re Amazing!!
Thank you!)
Get a rebounder.
Thank you, Dr. Li. Cheers to a healthy productive life ❤
Dr Li thank you so much for your full of information vlog about blood flow, may Allah SWT give you long life and good health.
I heard beans cause gout or arthritis. How true is Dr. Li? Thank you so much for what you're doing. I'm a big follower.
Highly educational. Thank you Dr 🙏
Love to hear the lectures especially those that improve circulation and improve our health. Some of the drinks you mention do have a high glycemic index. I love them but as a DM II kinda have to watch what we eat. Would you mind to expand the implications to us DM II population. Other than that, continue your work informing us about getting healthy. I’m so close to reversing my DM II. Thanks
Please keep up on the latest research!

I am pre diabetic. I suffer peripheral neuropathy combined with sciatica which is more pronounced in my right leg. On the contraty my underfoot has intense sensitivity (pain) even to the slightest prick. Yes , i suspect poor blood circulation but combined with something else! Nerve damage ? I will try your diet tips . Thank you.

I am dealing with blood clots on my left leg causing it to be swollen with itching most of the time. What should I do to get rid of this without surgery.
Baby aspirin daily.
Shallow clots are less serious than deeper ones. Deeper clots (called DVT) can be dangerous if the part of the clot breaks off & travels to the lungs. My husband is in hospital for this now!
