    I have a 1.2 million miles detroit 60 12.7l and I don't drive without Lucas products. I use 2 gallons of Lucas oil additive at every oil change plus constantly every day every time I fill up my good old truck I add this Lucas additive. So my Lucas motto is .... LUCAS OIL , YOU GOTTA HAVE IT!😍😍😳😀😇 ....Good VIDEO thanks

    After trying Lucas in my Honda 50hp outboard, it began to start easier after sitting for a while and ran much smoother. It definitely improved the engine's performance. I am convinced it delivers what it promised. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

    I've been using this on my Acura Vigor for about 5 years now and the car is still running top notch. The car is required to use 91 octane or higher but decided to drop to 87 regular cheapy gas since the price for premium really spiked compared to regular gas; that too was about 5 years ago. The car always starts immediately, runs excellent, passes emissions checks as before. No pinging issues due to lower octane fuel so that's why I still use 87 octane, but supplement that fuel with the Lucas. At over 350,000 miles on the car, and only 1 quart of oil consumption at a 5,000 mile oil change interval, I trust its value.

    This is the best fuel additive I have ever found. If you have never used it and are going to put it in use it on the highway and burn at least 3/4 of the tank then change the oil. The deposits that it will remove will end up in the oil for the most part. Buy it by the gallon, use it at on every tank of gas and change your oil more often for the first 4-6 oil changes...

    I have used this product for years and never have to clean the throttle body or injectors in my 300,000 mile truck. Got at least 1MPG improvement when I started using it.
    However, one point to be aware of is that undiluted it will melt rubber. I know this because I keep my bottle of Lucas in a rubber boot behind the seat to keep it from tipping over and some of it will get on the boot which has melted away. So as most fuel systems have rubber hoses etc I would not advise adding any more than the directions say or adding a full tank dose before the next fill as I often did with my wife's car, which now floods and wont start if you top it off. I figure it has melted the one way valve in the fuel vapor vacuum purge line allowing raw fuel to enter the manifold when filling the tank. Once this clears out the car runs fine. Just thought I'd let others know of this potential problem.

    Don't know why there are so many bad comment about this stuff? I think their stabilizer is snake oil but this stuff actually works for most people. The benefits can be seen in older engines with higher milage. The UCL will smooth out the idle, give better response and possibly give better MPGs. Worked in my car anyway! But you will not notice any difference in a new car that is still clean and efficient

    My carburetor float was sticking (causing it to leak out of the overflow drain) in my 1981 Kawasaki kz 750. Put about 2 Oz in a full tank of gas and it unstuck and stopped leaking after running it about 10 mins. made a believer out of me.

    honestly 3 mpg more in three spplications on a 1991 5.0 liter Ford van engine...I used to smell an excess of fuel all the time, no more smell and mpg jumped. I think the injectors were not atomizing correctly and just dripping fuel. Mileage has gone from 9-11 to 15.3! I swear it's true. No wonder they sell this stuff by the gallon. I've never believed in fixes by a can but this product works. I'm 52 I've seen a lot of them take my money without results.

    My 1997 Merc. Villager w/ approx. 200,000 miles was running very badly. Mechanic said one or more injectors were sticking, and it's always best to replace them all. A friend who had been a professional mechanic before retirement said to try Lucas Oil in my fuel at double concentration for two tanks full. Before I emptied the first tank the issue was resolved and I've been using it ever since. It saved me more than the value of the car.
    BTW: When I told him I had been using Marvel Mystery Oil, he said it had gummed up the injectors.

    If your car gets 25' and this boosts it to 26' then you use 4% less gas: in California where gas costs about $5, thats equivilant to a 20-cent discount per gallon, which is an $80 value in fuel savings per gallon jug of fuel additve if dosed over 400 gallons. And by some metrics it can actually treat about 425 gallons!

    I throw 2 oz in at every fill up. I don't drive much now during all the look downs. ( 2 ) suv with small V-6 engines. I get about 2 months now between fillip. I drive one , park the other the swap when either needs a fill up. I get those 32oz squeeze bottles, every now and then when they are on sale BOGO 1/2 off. I'v got a 5 oz bottle I've had for over 10 years to add the Lucas to the fuel filler. I also add 2 oz of Sta-Bil 360 Protection during the winter...

    My 2004 kawasaki zx10 was losing major power at high rpms. I thought the fuel pump was going. Before replacing and expensive part or cleaning it I tried lucas because my grandfather said it was good stuff. My bike wouldn't go faster than 127 because of this fuel issue and was making loud popping sounds from the exhaust from running lean. I had a custom power commander tune bmc air filter and two Bros slip on exhaust. This bike came with over 180bhp from the factory and would hit 186mph. I added this and the first ride I got more power I flew up to the red line instead of gradually getting there. And now after about 5 treatments my bike has almost all its power back and I was almost topped her out but chickened out but she still had the power to keep going. I'm using this in my bike every fill up.

Every fill-up I put a bottle of Power service diesel Clean (40 gallon size) in it, a bottle of Marvelous Mystery Oil in it, and 8 oz of 2 cycle oil. My truck has a clean fuel filter even after 20,000 miles. My truck has had zero lift pump issues and runs smooth as silk. The fuel savings doesn't really excite me one way or another, however, I use this product to hopefully extend injector life. I've already had to replace one injector on my V6 Ranger with 230K miles... hopefully I can delay another failure. I've noticed that the injectors on my Hyundai are quieter when I use it. I think Lucas makes decent products, I have been impressed with their auto trans additives.

    Good Day! I hope you're enjoying a pleasant one. Regarding the small bottles of Lucas, what's the Minimum amount of gas should you have in your tank before using it.? For Example, would you want to, or would it be OK to mix a Small bottle of Lucas with a gallon of Gas? ...or would that be too potent a mix and gum up something... if that's the case, what would be the Minimum Lucas before it might cause an issue? I believe the Max is 25 Gallons(?). Thanks for your time, and the Video.

    Since ethanol additives make the fuel inherently unstable while a machine is stored, I decided to try using this stuff as a fuel stabilizer in my lawn mower. I didn't want to drain the fuel system and risk hardening seals and diaphragms. I left it on 1/4 tank and then used like 5 parts fuel to 1 part fuel treatment (a lot more than recommended). The thing smoked and coughed the next Spring but it worked. Next time I'll try using less and see if it still works. I buy this stuff by the gallon and use it in everything I own. Its very cost effective when you buy it by the gallon.

    Premium gas has a better octane rating that regular. What your octane rating is and what acetone does are two different things. A gas with a higher octane rating means it can be compressed more on the motor's compression stroke without igniting. The acetone mixes with the gas increasing the surface tension of the solution, this helps it create more vapors, making a more efficient burn with better pressure on the motor's power stroke. =) Hope that helps

    Yea some place do provide better fuel than other and some will advertise that. But for where I live there isn't much of a choice when buying diesel. The only real difference between fuel stations around here is how much water is in your fuel lol. I hate saying that but its true. But there is alot of choices here for gas ranging from 87-110 octane and a few places sell what they call turbo blue fuel for race cars and tuners.

    I swear by this stuff. I have been putting it in my truck since day one. Definitely gave it some more pep by cleaning it up and did about 1 mpg increase. Of course now the gas is getting worse so my mileage is back down. Eric Castillo check out using Marine outboard TCW3 rated oil in your gas tank at 1oz of oil to 5 gallons of gas. Google Sarge LS1 using Marine oil in cars/trucks. Many people do this with great results. Much cheaper than Lucas. I use Pennzoil Marine outboard TCW3 oil in my JeepGC and my Volvo XC90 Marine oil is half the price of Lucas and you use less. TCW3 that's Two Cycle.Watercooled series3 oil. burns ashless no worry to harm sensors or cats.

    definitely u should use it in you car. I Have been using lucas oil products for over 5 years. In my 97 tacoma 2.4 it stopped rough idling and ran smooth as hell after I started treating everytime I filled up. It also increased my gas mileage from 23 mpg to 27 mpg. In my 01 Mustang 3.8 I was getting about 24 without lucas and 27 with it. If its running real rough. run some seafoam through one tank and start running lucas through it after that on every fill up. be sure to check your sparkplugs.

    I'm pondering if I should use the LucasOil Fuel System Treatment in my 2009 Lincoln MKS(47,000 miles) or some other brand. Rough idle, runs a bit sluggish... Figured I'd try an additive before getting the fuel system flushed by a mechanic.

    I had a converter going bad and I put this in and it turned the check engine light off. After a fill up and not putting it in the light would come on and then I put the recommended amount in and the light went off. After a month the cat started to plug and I had it changed for 521.00 and the shop said the honeycomb inside had broken. I don't know if it worked or not but my wifes car of the same type is showing the code for a bad converter and after putting Lucas in the check engine light went off. I'm not going to mess with this one I ordered a Walker direct fit for 207.00 and should have it in two days

    I was not a believer. I put a bottle in my 2016 Camry and took a 125 mile trip. I got 36 MPG. No real difference. On the return trip, I got 39 MPG. All highway, no traffic either way. To be fair, I was one passenger less and 3 plus gallons of fuel lighter on the return. About 200 pounds difference. Still, this is the best MPG I've ever gotten. I won't use it every fillup though. Maybe I'll throw in a bottle every 3rd fill-up going forward. I see no need to use it every tankfull.

    I use it - not sure if it does a lot or not, but my car runs better with it and it does help a small amount with mileage - one thing that I discovered just over a year ago - NGK Iridium spark plugs - that is really what has pumped up my MPG on my Hundai - I cannot even tell you - and the POWER of the car is way way better - they give a stronger spark, burning more gas in the chamber and giving you more bang for your buck, definitely worth it, big time. I just picked up some at the auto parts store and had my mechanic put them in. I have a couple of guys I know who drive trucks and put them in on my recommendation - they were quite happy with them, too. I seriously spend considerably less on gas with these.

    • @benaguilar5175
      @benaguilar5175 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I learned about these when I was getting parts at the local auto parts store to do my 60,000 mile services - I wanted to do the plugs, too. I asked the guy behind the counter if there were any really good spark plugs (I was on a roll with the split fire plugs back in the day with my Nova, too). He told me the NGK Iridiums were used by pretty much everyone who works there - so I figured maybe they were onto something. They were only like $1.50 more apiece over the regular crummy plugs. Just be cautious that they are fragile, and gapping them is different than with normal plugs - most of the time you don't need to do so at all.

    • @ZakTheRipper18
      @ZakTheRipper18 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Iridium and platinum overheat more easily than copper and are not as conductive. If anything, they deliver worse performance but last longer. As for the debate over multi-ground electrodes, there's not much evidence in their favor.

    • @ZakTheRipper18
      @ZakTheRipper18 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's a lot of voodoo and snake oil out there regarding spark plugs. A different spark plug doesn't generate more power than before. If a certain spark plug electrode configuration reduces misfiring by lowering the voltage necessary to generate the spark, then your motor will run better, But provided you're already getting consistent spark, it's a myth that somehow "bigger spark = more power." The mixture only needs enough spark to ignite it. If it's already doing that, then a fancier plug won't make it better.
      If you're really trying to change the ignition system, such as when you're compensating for the (desired) effects of engine modding (e.g. an increase in compression ratio), you would probably want to install one of the myriad performance ignition systems that operate at higher voltages, multi-spark--whatever whatever.
      Then again, I drive a '70 GMC pickup with a stock 350. It does have HEI though, and I have no problems with copper plugs.

    I usually pour half a bottle in a full tank in my little Toyota. It smells like diesel and detergent (napalm?) Works well with shitty ethanol laced fuel or sub-normal fuel. Does seem to help some. I added a full bottle (1 quart) to a full tank of gas and got 47 mpg on all highway driving in a 2000 Toyota Echo with 160,000 miles. I also use it as it's cleaning action is not caustic like the paint thinner types. However I WON'T use their oil additive. For me it's Mobil 1 only!

      If you had never read about ethanol in the gas, you would not notice anything wrong with the fuel you buy.

    • @marklangston7710
      @marklangston7710 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** wrong! Mpg are consistently better running non-ethanol gas. My car is a 2000 model and was not designed for ethanol laced gas. I've owned this car for 12 yrs and I know it very well. Tell me have you ever gotten 47 mpg from your vehicle at 160,000 miles?. 3-4mpg better with straight gas with no ethanol

    • @reso1349
      @reso1349 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mark Langston
      Yes you are 100% correct, ethanol fuels up to 15% suck out around 5-6 mpg regardless if the vehicle is designed or better yet tolerate ethanol fuel. Pure gas runs better and more efficient. I just drove an 2011 Cadillac 3.0 V6 SRX from Ohio to CA, pure gas 26.4 mpg, ethanol gas 19.2 mpg. The cost offset for pure gas to ethanol mixed was up to .50 cents a gallon, but pure gas ran better, more power and smoother. Ethanol gas is a money wasting joke.

      Mark Langston My 96 Tahoe with 290,000 + miles was getting 12mpg down from 15. I thought my engine was old and some fool said it was the ethanol. After changing timing chain, I'm back up to 15mpg.

    One more thing, if your car calls for premium only, never put regular in the tank. This will cause premature detonation in the compression. (thats what i was taking about earlier with octane ratings on fuels) This will cause damage to your piston heads as well as valves and if used during high engine load or racing type scenarios it could also blow your head gasket. =( So if you motor needs premium use it, never go cheap on your engine =)

    this stuff is amazing I use it in my high compression motorcycle race engines and it's amazing it's virtually stops all wear at TDC on cylinder wall and my race engine holds Max compression between rebuilds it's lubricate the valves as well between this and the Amsoil everything really remains in spec. I just purchased a Kawasaki H2 and it will be getting the same treatment Amsoil and the Lucas Fule Treatment for the valves & combustion chamber.. I'm glad somebody made of lubricant to put in the fuel for these types of engines

    I HAD A 1983 DATSUN 200 SX 70.000 MILES, ALWAYS WENT 300 MILES ON A FULL TANK FOR YEARS, PUT THIS IN AND WENT 280 MILES, SO I WENT THE LONG WAY HOME, AS I WAS PULLING INTO DRIVE WAY AT 300 MILES, I RAN OUT OF FUEL FOR THE FIRST TIME? I THINK IT MAKES THE FUEL HARDER TO BURN? SO I USED MORE, THE NEXT FEW TANKS I GOT GAS AT 250 MILES, AND SAW A DROP IN FUEL MILEAGE? WHEN IT WAS GONE I SWITCHED TO MARVEL MYSTERY OIL,AND DURA LUBE,I THINK THE DURA LUBE DID THE BEST, AS I HAD TO LOWER THE IDLE,TWICE, BUT THEN USED SOME OIL? BUT GOT MY FUEL MILEAGE BACK? I MAKE A QUART OF DURA LUBE LAST A YEAR, ABOUT A CAP FULL PER OIL CHANGE, IN THE OIL ,AND A TOUCH OF MARVEL MYSTERY OIL IN THE FUEL? SEEMS TO WORK FOR ME..

    Ok guys, Lucas, may help out your pickup truck diesel engine fuel mileage a bit, But you are not pulling heavy loads with them either. I have big rig, with a 600 hp Detroit engine. I pull a low pro stepdeck trailer, and I do a lot of heavy oversize loads..
    I have used Lucas in the past, I never saw any improvements on my fuel mileage at all.. There was no improvements on the pulling Hp / Torque ratio's at all..
    I have found that when I do my oil and filter changes, I take the old fuel filters off, drai them, then add a half quart of dextron transmission fluid in each filter ( 2 ) then fill the rest with fuel, fire the engine and run that thru the injectors and it does a better job of cleaning the fuel system, ( Injectors ) because of the cleaning agents that the transmission fluid has, and Its a heck of a lot cheaper than Lucas..
