Most accurate statement on this channel. Literally change the brightness and it's remaster with ubisoft. Some queef will comment something like yeah but the fps is better errrrr. You really can't tell the fps much though
I tbh still say all ac games need a remaster to bring them into modern graphics up to say rouge and black flag .... ac1 ac2 brotherhood revaluation ac3 liberation all need remastered again .... yes again to make them feel modern graphic wise lol

They haven't even remastered it, they just ported it over to current gen consoles.

Death Hunter 101 Have you listened to the entire OST for Rogue???? It’s amazing and severely underrated. Listen to “A Boy Becomes a Man” and “I Am Shay Patrick Cormac.” Those are my favorites.

Its impossible show any diference on the TH-cam, all the comparisons are joke, if you want to see the diference you need to do this in person...
Can't see the obvious bump in resolution and framerate? Or how shadowmaps are of a much higher resolution? Texture detail? I agree, the overall visual difference in terms of assets is negligible because - there is none. The differences are mainly resolution, framerate, shadows, texture resolution, draw distance, particle effects (guns and cannons leave volumetric smoke), screen space reflections in water, and lighting differences.
if you dont see a difference u literally need to go to an eye specialist...

Imagine Rouge remade in with the graphics and mechanics of Unity.
That would be so freaking dope, I'd buy it in an instant. Unity has the best graphics and mechanics of all assassins creed games.
Imagine if they also made DLC for the Rogue Remake too.
Valhallas graphics are way better than unitys. And oddysey and origins have better graphics. Syndicate does as well but has worse lighting and draw distance

It's not the same.
Xbox 360 runs at a lower resolution as well as lower quality shaders.
It's an improvement but hardly worth a remaster, just buy a normal PC at that point and play it there if you ask me.
Better shaders and Anti Aliasing are present in x. Look again.

I don’t notice a HUGE change but little things here and there were definitely improved. Like the pixel trees look better and I found some things look a bit better with improved lighting as well. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.

Toska San It's locked at 30 fps, actually, though it is a steady 30 and never dips below.
The changes are mostly in the way the water moves and reflects, the volumetric smoke, and the lighting.

Its still technically a remaster. Youll still notice pixel breaks on the 360 out in the distance, and on next gen everything is clear. People who are saying 360 is better had their expectations too high, and were just looking for a handful of likes._.
Well if played the assassins creed 2 original and the remastered version you will understand the expectation

I don't think the X enhancement has come out yet. Maybe with HDR? But if you don't notice a difference, start off by upscaling the video to 1080p and look at all the leaves. On the 360, it looks like intense screen tearing all around you, but on the X it's all fixed up which would make for a better, immersive experience
Theyre only doing this because the released Unity and Rogue the same week and nobody bought Rogue because it was on 360 and ps3 lmao

I can really see a difference when I'm running through New York City. On PS3, it would skip and stutter all over due to the draw distance and having a lot of people on the street, while on PS4 it's smooth. A lot of the plants and trees have physics in the remaster - similar to 'AC-Black Flag' - but I do admit I was expecting more. Still love it, though. I'm glad they remastered it so people who didn't play it - or didn't even hear about it - could give it a shot. Edit - Now if they'd get around to remastering 'ACIII' I'd be a happy man. Conner made my teeth itch, but the game itself was amazing.

Assassins creed rogue was better than unity in my opinion I enjoyed it much more than unity but unity had better components and momentum.
Little to no difference, would have expect more from a remaster.

the main thing is that they increased the resolution (and I assume framerate)
you can't really see it in a video like this due to the already low resolution and video compression, but Rogue on the 360 and PS3 runs at 720p whereas this one runs at 1080p
grasscid its still a lazy remaster and hardly qualifies as a remaster.
it exists more to give people on current gen consoles access to the game (although the 360 already had it reverse compatible)
the game is up to par with the PC version now. What more do you need? Of course it's still going to be the same basic game, just slightly prettier than before.

grasscid also no it isnt up to pc cause pc can also do 60 fps which even most basic remeasters do
I'm not entirely sure there's an FPS cap for this game; the original Rogue has uncapped framerate on consoles (and can therefore run at 60 fps on the Xbox One X, so it would be silly if the remaster can't reach that) and I think the reason every video has it running at 30 FPS is because they have it set to 4k; I've yet to see any gameplay videos of the game running at 1080p on TH-cam.
and as for your last point, "basic port" just doesn't have the same ring to it as "remaster". Of course it's not a "proper" remaster, but that's just how marketing works. No one is being forced to buy the game a second time if they don't want to. It's mostly just for people that haven't played it yet, or enjoyed it so much they don't mind buying it a second time.
Reduction of noise, sunflare and anti aliasing were the only things that I noticed

This is like God of war 3 remastered they just ported it over the next gen, but it's really for people who missed out the the last gen console's
Dante Sparda it's backwards compatible. Literally all you had to do was buy it digitally or get a used copy for dirt cheap 🤦♂️
There’s honestly not that much of a difference. The only thing different I can see is that the trees have slightly a little bit more detail. I already have it on Xbox one through backwards compatibility. I am glad users on PS4 are able to experience the game though. I think I’ll only pick up a PS4 copy of the remaster if it’s dirt cheap.
As i remmember AC Rogue didn't work in 60 or even 30+ fps on X360 so i think they comprised AC Rogue in Backward compatibility and AC Rogue Remastered in 4k on Xbox One X.

For those people thinking this is the remastered one on the 1X this is just a backwards compatibility option if you have the 360 copy which I would prefer it's got to unlock framerate so you can play this at 60fps instead of the remastered one only running at lock 30 FPS LOL

Why ezio theme music for this one?
A TH-cam video not in 4k doesn't do it justice. And most people aren't watching it on a powerful moniter. I play on a 4k TV with a ps4 pro and it is great
What was the actual point in remastering this, changes are so subtle i was struggling to see the differences between shots.
The only difference is that they are going to add Bayek and Jacob outfits.
When it said remaster i was flipping out i tought we would see this game with the same engine as in Origins. But no this just an HD version idk.

Ubisoft gotta learn to remaster from epic games, gears of war ultimate edition is the best remaster I’ve seen they even changed camera angles in cutscenes, remodelled every single character and even added new levels
The only thing that really annoyed me about the original was the weird shadows. As long as they've fixed that, I couldn't care less if the game looks vaguely the same.

the 360 one seemed to have much better depth like at 0:42 the remastered looked so flat with unnecessary extra exposure
I never got to play Rogue so I'm glad they released a remastered version but damn the graphics look the same between the 360 and Xbox One X versions.. I'm still enjoying the game though..

i can really see the difference between the two if you look closely one says xbox 360 and the other says xbox one x it's a classic remaster
In certain shots there are differences, however, overall no difference to buy it for.
This isn't a fare test as of that Xbox one x is 4k you gotta done Xbox 360 vs Xbox one s in 1080p

the remastered version has like this weird haze over it , kind of like a fog its weird unless you actually play it . The 360 version was more clearer then the remaster but more pixelated

Again graphics mostly depend on your tv and how you customize and adjust your tv picture settings to your tvs best ability...and if your tv has color space and if you know how to use it like. I do then you will bring your games colors to life i mean. On my 75inch samsung graphics on my ps4 look everything they do on trailer

Its not really a remaster, just a HD update for the newer console
30 fps also. The old pc version was 60fps with native resolution not some half job. This is a good game and a good remaster for consoles, if you have the pc version then you have a superior copy of the game I'm afraid. Half arsed job from Ubi.
