Months ago, I commented that I just perfected my slim wardrobe and baggy derailed it, and you sympathized in the comments. Well, you're absolutely right. Now I've finally perfected some baggy wear, and if we do go back to slim or skinny, I've got a great well-rounded wardrobe. Some days I go skinny, some days baggy. Feels great.
That noise you hear in the distance is the sound of Harry’s ex teachers hearts breaking as they place their samba’s in the bin, the ones who proudly kept tabs on his videos
Definitely agree with heritage style being super popular this year. It’s crazy because I just determined that this is more my aesthetic early last year and then it all of a sudden began popping off. I was just in New York City yesterday and most of the places I went to in soho are leaning into what most people are calling “vintage Americana” which I’m so happy to see.
If you’re tall, why you wearing cropped, if you skinny why you wearing baggy? Wearing things that fit your body shape and size, that is always timeless.
Fun Video Harry, what I did notice is, that just some trends travel the world slower. Something which is hype in Europe was or becomes later on a trend somewhere else. In Mexico I see still skinny jeans but also the wide cloth trend. Have to laugh when I see classic sneakers, those are sometimes hyped but to Be honest, you can wear them before and after cause their are just classy and will never be out of style. Have a great new week and cheers.
heritage clothing is growing in the US and may be here for a while. Especially as most of the clothing and shoes/boots are built to last. I've been into boots for years and love to see more people adopting them
The whole pajamas thing I didn't even know was a thing until I got a Tiktok from some girl saying a colleague asked her if she forgot to change, and she went "it's a silk two piece" it was just pale pink pajamas.
It is a testament of people’s lack of communication comprehension that you repeatedly need to clarify that you saying that a trend is dying down doesn’t mean the clothing piece itself is dying or will disappear.
6:42 In the US, Sambas were only worn by people who played soccer/football. They’d wear them in indoor games/practices. My sneakerhead friends would wear sambas for just that, then Nike/Jordan otherwise lmao
From what I’ve seen on my travels most Americans (even in major cities) are pretty much stuck in casual and comfy clothes. T shirts and hoodies with text/prints, joggers or jeans and gym clothes. I believe Northern Europeans are gradually improving their style with more smart garments like classic coats and such. I hope we move even more towards classic European styles.
Those Puma's have been around for ages , in my generation they were worn primarily to the gym, but I have had them several times .... get your own hype Gen-Z 😁😉💖 Love your vids Harry 👏🏾
it's all about good materials and your fashion should be timeless. I love my Red Wing hawthorne muleskinner boots, orslow jeans and i love to wear apc wool overshirt. Modern lumberjack you could say :)
I think Lemaire might pop off too. I have been really diving into their designs in 2023 and I can see how they might be next especially given their price point. The Real Real has tagged them as an emerging brand which I thought was weird, they feel really established to me.
I feel they are extremely established so that’s weird to me too. I feel their price point is the thing that will make it harder for them to pop off to be honest though. Most people won’t wanna pay those prices
Oh, my Western imposed deity! A few years ago, when I finally resigned to skinny jeans (cuz also, they were the only kind you could buy), they become passé and ugly, I won’t make the same mistake with baggy ones.
A big 100% on crops being a forever style. I'm older than your target demo and have been cropping tees for a decade. Even undershirts. It works with my height, at or below the belt line.
Walking around Target before Christmas it cracked me up how many ( mainly women ) wore matching loungewear outfits with the platform ugg's. We're nearly in the matrix hive mind. That said it is kinda cute.
The problem with speedcats is that they’re not comfortable to walk in. I have a few pairs but I use them specifically for driving, as they’re designed for. I think this trend will be over by summer.
I think Mexico 66 are not easily approachable, as they are sold only on their web or in 4-5 stores in European capital cities. When you can get shoes from other brands in any JD , WB or other retailer. Still my favorite sneaker ever.
I’m not falling for baggy trend but I am not going back to skinny either two summers ago I switched to 501’s and I am just sticking with those for life. You were right about the 93 pair I like those
I don't think bape ever died as a trend. Maybe in the US and the West in general, but it's still a pretty common thing to see in Asia, and very much so in Japan. Personally, I've heard people say that its gotten too popular and that's why they don't like wearing bape anymore.
@@HarryHas imo pants silhouette seem to be a generational macrotrend, and usually change as one generation grows up and the next enters their twenties. so when the majority of millennials were in their twenties, skinny was in, and now that gen z is in their twenties, baggy is in. it'll only be when gen z leaves their twenties and gen alpha starts taking over the fashion scene that we'll probably see skinny/slim be the new norm (as fashion swings back and forth). dunno tho could jus be me waffling

Tbh instead of wearing baggy jeans I recommend the Tide Jeans from COS. They have such a nice high waist wide leg fit, they really compliment my body shape. Look amazing with my Mexico 66s, cant imagine not wearing them. In my opinion a much nicer fit than most baggy jeans. Great Video!
I've been wearing Onitsuka Tigers since the early 2000's. Especially the Mexico 66's. I buy a new pair every few years and they only cost $100 or less before. Now the price has doubled since 2024 when they became "trendy" 😒
If women want to wear boxers it’s fine and at least looks intentional. Men would just look like they had somehow lost their pants to me or perhaps never finished dressing.
I study computer science and the nerdiest people are showing up in joggers or even pyjama pants paired with hiking boots, but with no sense of taste whatsoever, that RUINED the trend for me 😂
When it comes to sneakers it’s best to stick to classic models that will never go out of style. Trendy trainers like Puma speedcat and Adidas Taekwondo do not fit into this category. Stick to air maxes, Jordan’s, converse 70s, adidas originals like campus, gazelle etc, most New Balances, vans old skool ~ you can’t go wrong with any of those and they’ll always be in. Same with trousers/pants. Regular fits will always be in, skinny jeans come in and out of fashion, but I think they’ll always have their place with punks, rockers etc. Baggy jeans have often been associated with hip hop scenes, so those will always be around, albeit less popular than they were in 2024.

Leather is far from being a trend 😂 it's timeless
