Hello I’d love a video on the Wrancher Dress Jean for some styling ideas. Just bought these and am looking for inspiration 😊 Thanks for this video James !
I love the fact that you can wear the Camion boots with literally everything it seems. They look fantastic with each style of pants you are presenting here. Really great boots, worth the investment. By the way: I like the Wrangler/Camion combo the most. Looks absolutely fantastic in my opinion.
For the fatigues, I think the ones from p&Co are really nice. They have a good fit and they're very comfy, the only issue with fatigues is the everything falling out the front pockets when you sit down
Great video, James. Really enjoying your videos and getting some excellent ideas for my wardrobe too. Nice seeing the army trousers featured. I recently got a pair of RAF trousers on Vinted and love how they fit.
I still rock the black asos tapered chinos that you used to wear a few years ago. They're my go to for both smart and casual events haha. Great video as always. Think i'm going to cop the urban outfitter jeans
James, thanks for the great videos and degree of details you provide on every one of your videos. I love that you mix clothes from the women’s section in your wardrobe. I also mix it up and wear anything in the store that looks good. It is amazing how many a compliments I get. ❤
I was just thinking yesterday to comment on your next video asking for some content going more in-depth about the high waisted jeans and cropped tops style. I'm trying to transition to it but am having a bit of a difficult time especially now when we have to start layering. This video showed some great trousers I'll be looking into!
Great video as always. Perhaps do a second one showing the other pairs you have and why you won't be wearing them (currently). I have way too many pairs of pants and like the idea of sticking with a reasonable amount of pairs (such as you have done here) to wear and enjoy this season. Have a great week.
To be honest this is pretty much my entire collection at the moment! I have way too many jackets and t shirts, so I need to keep my bottoms collection smaller haha. Have a good Sunday mate!
The lower rear pockets on modern levis is more phone and wallet friendly imo. The older high pockets make my phone or wallet lay at an angle when it sit down instead of laying flat on the seat. The lower pockets mean the contents of the pockets sit more in line with your thighs and not the buttocks, less flattering but much more functional.
I hope Uniqlo brings the selvedge denim jeans back in a regular or relaxed fit, too. They look pretty need in your video and slim fit isn't my cup of tea. So I will look more into wrangler. They weren't on my radar. Thanks for the video and see ya
The BD jeans 👖 would maybe suit some NB dad trainers with an accent sock ...... and consider some classic tan wrangler or levi micro cords ..... Great video and happy Sunday
On the OG109s, I have a modern pair from Natalino, that I got for 40% off. Also lightweight. Really nicely made. Made in Japan from ripstop. You would hope they are well made though since outside the sale they are £195. Cheaper than Orslow for sure but at a level where I'd expect them to be very high quality
I have been meaning to explore wider jeans than just regular/tapered ones and Uniqlo FINALLY added alterations online for Sweden. So I can finally get some that fit my short legs, i'm like all torso and it sucks for pants.
Thanks for sharing James! Do you have any tip(s) on how to make the Merz 215 wear less transparently? I'm wearing a size L, but find that it hugs my chest too closely and showing an uncomfortable amount of skin underneath, which is a shame since I love these shirts!
Thanks James! I personally think high waisted trousers always look great on you. I think it gives off a pure elegance and coolness vibe. And I find your background really fabulous to look at . Very stylish and homely. But anyway I learn so much from your videos. Thanks i really ,really I appreciate tons for entertainment and fashion education.
I got a couple of wranglers. The greensboro are some of the most comfortable jeans I have had. Does run a bit big around the waist though. The Uniqlo Selvedge slim fit jeans are my favorite jeans that I have at that price point. More expensive ones then I would say my raw denim jeans from Asket is nb 1.
This is my third comment now lol. Anyway, just to say, great video. I think a lot of people into menswear neglect trousers because there's more variety on tops but they're crucial to building a good outfit
ayyy I have a pair of GU's two pleat baggy denim slacks and I cant wait to try it on when I get back to Japan! also iirc the selvedge straight jeans are still available in the japanese uniqlo site, last I checked. anyways, good video as always!
Haven‘t seen them in real life yet, but the Maro boots by Josepht also have a similar style and cost about half, while using high quality materials it seems. Maybe worth a closer look.
Those 505s are a nice fit. I'd be interested in what you thought fo Wrangler cowboy cut jeans. I have a newish pair of 13 MWZ from the blue bell range and they look very similar to those 505s. Not cheap though Edit: I wrote this before I finished the video 😂
Late to the video but I’m really quite annoyed at the fact that Uniqlo makes the selvedge denim only in a slim fit! Selvedge definitely looks better in a regular or straight fit.
@@JamesLeung morning james! just checked the japan website for uniqlo - apparently their selvedge with a regular fit is available in japan! even in different lengths and in white as well? maybe a sign for a comeback?
I say its better to buy New levis jeans, and buy the levis premium version its higher quality with better denim. Buy the 100% cotton version and depending on the wash some of them are so smooth soft as well like my washed black levis 568. I think buying old levis is weird, dont know how the last person wore it and you have to hunt for the right size and color. Its way easier to buy from levis online and if it does not fit, easy to return and get the perfect fit.
I disagree, personally. They're pretty overpriced and the quality of both the denim and the build isn't that great. I'd buy new Wranglers (cowboy cut, specifically) or Lee 101s (on sale though, since they can get very up there in pricing) long before buying new Levi's. The older Levi's just hold up better, and are way cheaper.
Congrats on 100k James!! Loved the video per usual
Really nice collection man. I might have to pick up a new pair of the Ken pants. Mine are a size too small but they look great
Thanks! Yeah still going strong, they’re such a great option.
Hello
I’d love a video on the Wrancher Dress Jean for some styling ideas. Just bought these and am looking for inspiration 😊
Thanks for this video James !
Read this in Harry’s voice😂
James & Harry uploading at the same time since quite a while! Two videos to watch and that too, good ones.
🙏
Your styling is always spot on-so comfortable yet so chic!
Thank you! 🙏
Your style is a great mix of confidence and creativity-always inspiring!🥰
The uniqlo salvage jeans fit you like it's unreal. Such a good pair
Yeah they honestly feel like they were custom made for me!
A bit long no?

By the way: I like the Wrangler/Camion combo the most. Looks absolutely fantastic in my opinion.
Yeah they super versatile, a great investment! Thanks for watching
Damn I wish Uniqlo would bring the Selvedge pair back, they look so nice!
I heard they still do them in the Japanese store!
There are so many in Vinted bro, check you can get a nice pair for a crazy low price
@@marcoantoniomarchese4779 Thanks mate, i'll have a look!
my Boy Harry Has never misses
4:32 Wow!! the catwalk totally stole the show!!
Haha he always does 😸
@ no doubt about that lmao 🤣

Thank you! Sounds like a good pick up, love some vintage army clothing.

Thanks for the kind words mate, glad you enjoyed it!
I like this simple and fashionable outfit
Nice Video, man. One question, What's the make of your watch? it looks nice.
Thanks! It’s an old Datejust from my grandad!
Was able to grab the pleated denim trousers for $20 🔥

Glad to have helped mate! 👍
Very good video james mate 👍
Thanks mate. Have a good Sunday!
@JamesLeung you too mate
Your clothing choices always look great because you are so fit! What is your work-out and skin regime?
Thanks mate! Nothing crazy, mainly body weight workouts 3 times a week and just bog standard face wash and moisturiser each day!
Great video as always. Perhaps do a second one showing the other pairs you have and why you won't be wearing them (currently). did u taken the ken trousers in lengthwise?
I was thinking the same
No I didn’t, just wearing them high on my waist!
You’re definitely right about that. Still prefer the look of the vintage ones though!
Those wrangler Wranchers look really good on you! One problem I've always had with them is sourcing them in the UK, how did you go about this?
Thanks! Check Amazon - they regularly stock them
Looking sharp! Well done.
Thank you! 🤩
Hi there, where is your t-shirt from? Looks like a good fit.
It’s the Merz B 215 - great tee!
Where have the Astro Jeans gone :( ?
I hope Uniqlo brings the selvedge denim jeans back in a regular or relaxed fit, too. They look pretty need in your video and slim fit isn't my cup of tea. So I will look more into wrangler. They weren't on my radar. Thanks for the video and see ya
Yes I have a feeling they will come back. Cheers for watching mate!

Definitely agree! Thanks, you too!

They sound good - I think they’ll last you a long time!
What watch are you wearing? So nice!!!
It’s my granddads Datejust!
I have the orslow fatigue pants, and oh boy, I love them!
I bet! They look great

Oh that’s nice, didn’t know they altered pants!
Love the vid!
Thanks!
Thanks James 👏 Are the 505s higher rise than the Wrangler 13MWZ? Does the Wranger sit at the belly button?
Yes slightly higher - only the vintage ones though. I think they changed the fit of the new ones. They sit just below the belly button for me!
Thanks for sharing James! Do you have any tip(s) on how to make the Merz 215 wear less transparently? I'm wearing a size L, but find that it hugs my chest too closely and showing an uncomfortable amount of skin underneath, which is a shame since I love these shirts!
Sorry, didn’t catch the name of the first white tsirt ? It looks good.
Merz B Schwanen 215 👍
I really like Levis 505, but as you said in the video the positioning of the back pockets is awful.
Yes that’s only on the new pairs though - make sure you get a vintage one!
Great selection! What’s the name of the company you mentioned as a possible replacement for the 0G 107 army pants?
OrSlow! I linked them in the description 👍
Unrelated, where'd you find merz b on sale? Didn't think they have any.
From a UK store called the hambledon!

Thanks so much, definitely feel more comfortable in the high waisted pants!
Glad you like the background, it’s one of my favourite places as well!

Never tried GU, looks good though! Ahh that’s good to hear, they’re great jeans. Thanks for watching!
I love the Our Legacy Camion boots but they are too expensive for me. Does anyone know a similar alternative option??? 🙏
I think Zara might do a similar looking boot
@ thank you for your answer!! I will stay tuned to Zara. Greetings from Spain 🙌
Haven‘t seen them in real life yet, but the Maro boots by Josepht also have a similar style and cost about half, while using high quality materials it seems. Maybe worth a closer look.
I saw H&M literally made a copy of the OL Camion. I wouldn't recommend it though since it's not leather at all.
Those 505s are a nice fit. I'd be interested in what you thought fo Wrangler cowboy cut jeans. I have a newish pair of 13 MWZ from the blue bell range and they look very similar to those 505s. Not cheap though
Edit: I wrote this before I finished the video 😂
🤣
I've seen many places that the rise on 505 is less than 501? Is that for only new ones? When did that change?
Yes I believe the news ones have a different shape to the old ones. Which is why I prefer vintage!
I love selvage jeans but I’ve done a lot of CrossFit over the years and my legs can’t fit in them. I need stretch.
Fair point 👍 or could go for some wider leg denim
could you do a video on clothes from zara and whether we should buy clothes from them? and could u list some pieces that you recommend?
Do not recommend Zara, you're better off with other brands
The Levis really look good on you. I feel like my legs are too short to wear them haha, they look better on longer and slimmer legs.
Yeah mine are a little long to be honest. I’ll probably cut them off or get them tailored!
Are the Uniqlo Pleated Denim Jeans warm enough for autumn/winter? Im considering picking a pair up in brown or beige because of your video
Yes definitely, they’re pretty thick!
Love pants but sometimes I just have lots of issues with sizing, I swear some pants are just made for people with bird legs.
Yeah I know what you mean. Really annoying that a 30 isn’t the same for every brand!
A good collection.😁
Thanks man!
Can anyone recommend me a stiff, heavy version of the OG107?
I think the OrSlow ones might be like that
Is this man Eurasian?
Nice pants
Thanks 🙏
James has many pants but I’m his favorite bottom.
Remember everyone, 140 lbs is 10 stone exactly.
???
Thanks, always forget to add that
Lmao
For vintage 90's denim Wrangler is my jam. They tend to be in better shape and the Wrangler tag has a certain charm.
Absolutely agree! They’re so affordable as well.
noice james
Thanks!

OMG!! I hate slim fitted pants and I love your channel but I can’t relate 😭
Late to the video but I’m really quite annoyed at the fact that Uniqlo makes the selvedge denim only in a slim fit! Selvedge definitely looks better in a regular or straight fit.
Agreed!
@@JamesLeung morning james! just checked the japan website for uniqlo - apparently their selvedge with a regular fit is available in japan! even in different lengths and in white as well? maybe a sign for a comeback?

Wide pants with boots are horrendous. Yall instagram people are copying each other wayyyyy too much and call it fashion
