  • This is the last video in our British Virgin Island Sailing 2020 series. Make sure to check out all 6 of the videos in the Playlist. Jodi and I were lucky enough to spend a few weeks in the BVIs sailing and enjoying the amazing Caribbean weather. This was in January, before Covid19 locked everything down, so I am feeling lucky we did this trip before all the madness started.
In this video we leave Foxy in Great Harbor on Jost Van Dyke and head four miles back to the east to East End Harbor. Here we do some snorkeling and see some amazing sea life. We then set off to explore and experience the Bubbly Pool. This is a natural cove that funnels water in from Atlantic Ocean waves to make a natural jacuzzi pool. It is just a short half mile hike along the shoreline north of Foxy's Taboo restaurant and bar.
We came back to the boat after our hike and had a quick lunch before we set sail for Marina Cay. We hoped to be there in time to check out the Scrub Island resort but it started to rain so we picked up a mooring ball at Marina Cay.
The next day we got going early to get some of our crew back to Nanny Cay. Brenda, Lynn, Tim and Michelle were leaving us to fly back home to Minneapolis out of St Thomas.
Jodi and I were lucky enough to be staying a few extra days with Carey and Cristina who were kind enough to ask us to continue sailing with them. No arm twisting needed!
Enjoy the Video, like it, share it, and Subscribe. It is all free to do and really helps us build the channel. Cheers!

Pirate show pics were neat. Final monologue was nice. Your crew covered a lot of ground.

mikeD Yes, Pirate show is a must! We had a blast! We covered about 100 miles in the week. It is good to move in the morning and play in the afternoon. Thanks for checking in. You sailing this winter?

@@MarkMesserli Outside of COVID, we never had plans to sail this season/year. My goal is to charter every two years. Hopefully 2022. We get lots of hydrotherapy where we live but we miss crystal clear water. Might cruise Bahamas next just for the water. Cheers!
