  • Thanks for joining us for another charter in the British Virgin Islands. This marks our 12th charter in the Caribbean over the past 30 years. We live in the Midwest, so going to the Caribbean for a few weeks a year takes the edge off of Winter. We were invited along on this charter by some friends who needed some crew to fill up a cabin. My wife was all over that!
Jodi and I arrived on Tortola three days before our charter. We are both retired so we thought we would lengthen our stay in the islands. The rest of the crew arrived on Saturday and we stayed onboard the boat that night. I recommend staying on board the night before. We were able to get on the boat at 5:00 pm. Prior to that we did all our provisioning and hit the liquor store. The next morning we had a quick charter briefing and check out and we were on our way.
In this video we make a short hop over to Nanny Cay on Tortola to Norman island and pick a mooring ball, snorkel, paddle board and relax for the afternoon. We headed into the Pirates Bight restaurant to catch the NFL playoff game and danced the night away.

Thanks for watching! Cay is pronounced Key in the Caribbean.
