I'm glad you read everything before installing. I've seen them on backwards. Even calipers when you see the bleeder valves at the bottom. Your very skillful and have the knowledge. I know if you took this to an Audi dealer. It'll be way over a thousand dollars easy. Hope these Audi people give you a thumbs up and a thanks comment.

rear Audi wants $2000 fronts they wanted like $3000. It makes no sense at all, they are not carbon rotors so what is that cost for. This car has the bigger front brakes like the hybrid q5. video for those coming

That's crazy what the dealership is asking. The truth about it is the prices are going up. And not coming down. Thanks for saying and your video.@@bobspurloc

After hours and hours of researching, I learned all the caliper bolts are one time use. No YT video even mentioned this. I suspect the majority of the mechanics and DIYers don't even know or care. I decided to play it safe and order a set of 4 mounting bolts N-911-268-01 and anchor plate bolts WHT-010-085. $50 just for the bolts - crazy!!!

Caliper bolts aren't 1 time use. maybe that is some race track standards. they aren't torqued like head bolts where they stretch. it's a bit silly especially since these bolts are almost 2x bigger than a head bolt. you have absolutely no chance to stretch these bolts. if u still cant comprehend how silly that is loctite blue them. if you still dont understand how silly that is. then research WHY someone said they are 1 time use and it's going to be 100% they have no reason, or their reasoning is even sillier. almost as silly as telling a grandma you need to change her brake fluid because its dangerously old that her brakes will be soft on her next track day. money grab lies r real.

@@gransergranser9756 You can get the spin compression tool for loan-to-use at most auto shops. I used autozone's. And if you keep an eye out, you can usually find the 5L jugs of the Mobile 1 ESP 2x 0W-20 vw50800 compliant motor oil too and filters on sweet combo deals.

Did you have to use the Audi OBD tool to release the parking brake or turn the car before pryong open? Or did you just pry it open with car off? I was difficult to tell

well... I didn't test it on these but at first I manually turned them in with piston tool. but that barely did anything. i then used a vcds tool to put it in brake replacement mode.. but I still had to press them in. HOWEVER I believe you can turn them in with the piston tool and then press them in with compression tool or prying with screwdriver.
