What did you find? Sounds like air getting in fuel system. Before trying to start was the primer bulb soft? Try bleeding the system before starting. There should be no bubbles from the filter bleed screw. Open bleed valve squeeze bulb shut valve squeeze bulb until firm then try to start. If it starts and run right you are getting air in the system. Or start it when it is running right shut it off and restart if it starts and runs right shut it off and come back in 3 or more hrs and see if it starts and runs right.

I’ve had good success with that royal purple diesel fuel cleaner for the stuff at the winery with issues like that

Off topic, I remember ages ago you were working on a bulldozer made in the 1950s. You still got it? That thing was built like a beast.

I sold the CAT D2 dozer. I still have it though... Buyer purchased it in February. Hasn't shown back up to take it... Do still have the 1961 International TD-340 dozer. Flip back a couple videos.

Boy this 4 cylinder looks similar to yammar three cylinder in our John Deere 6 x 4 gator diesel we have a cat tell handler with the same starting issue and no one can figure it out we’ve had the cat dealer out trying to figure out the stupid thing it only does it when it’s really cold outside she’ll crank over run for a few seconds and then die I think it’s bad injectors… because once you get some heat in her she runs great! I would assume if you had a bad glow plug the circuit would break and there would be indicator light I would assume but maybe not?

That's not how the glow plug circuit on the bobcat works. You can have bad plugs and it won't code, the ecu just sends 12v to glow plugs, there is no return to the ecu to generate a code

Is this mechanical injection pump? You got a fuel leak there is air getting into the injection pump when sitting. Either at the injection pump or before it.

I have a T590 doing the exact same thing. Ive done everything you did in this video with the same results. Did you ever figure out the issue? Mine starts on about the 4th-5th crank, real sluggish at first but then comes to life and runs fine. Im leaning toward leaking injector but would like to know if thats what yours ultimately was.

I ended up selling the machine last September. Bought a 2020 T770 in Feb.
