- I love watching interviews with the Downton cast. I particularly enjoy it when Allen Leech does impressions of Maggi Smith, Julian Fellowes and others. so I thought I'd put some of them in one video. Some of them are anecdotal (he's a great story teller also).

Always wondered what happened! Her death was so unexpected and sudden. I assumed she was leaving to do movies. 🤷♀️

It was really a shame that Sybil left the show so early. Her character really brings a lot of sparkles to the show.
@@gemmab8626 Her death was so tragic too. Taught us a huge lesson on preeclampsia though.
No greater scene ever recorded for television than the Sybil tragedy. A new bar was set for ensemble acting. Nothing will ever be more shocking and compelling.

You can see his face and hear his accent when you watch Niall Horan.
He's not only very handsome he's also hilarious. So why doesn't somebody in the business put him in a comedy?
Handsome yes but Ian McKellen does a much better Maggie Smith. Who has never seen DA, btw.

Sadly Michelle dosent sound anything like Mary but she really does the accent so well but was so disappointed she dosent really sound like that.I love Marys Accent

He's very good in an Irish comedy, "Man about Dog", it's extremely funny but also specifically Irish. Was a big hit here, not sure if others will get the accents though. Anyway that's my tuppence worth.

Everytime I see anything to do with Downton Abbey I think of the Graham Norton/Bill Murray/Matt Damon interview. Best interview ever.

Love Downton Abbey and the talent and "class" they all bring to the screen. Amazing writing, balance and timing. It's wonderful entertainment and without the "garbage" seen so often on the big screen these days. Can't wait to see the next movie. Best wishes to all and thank you for the opportunity to enjoy more Downton Abbey.
Tom was one of my favourite guys in DA, and the most handsome one ever.

Always enjoyed any scene he was in ! That mischievous look ! And yes, what a Touch of Class, Downton Abbey brought into our homes, with all the ragged drivel one sees on TV.

I see through the other comments there's a queue for Allen Leech. I claim my place in it! I'm glad I haven't met him yet, as I wouldn't be able to conceal my attraction towards him. For some reason, I always fall for straight guys the hardest.
Enough about me... Allen is as hilarious as he is handsome and charismatic. I agree with the other comment which said Allen should get into comedy. He'd be amazing at it. They should build in his impressions into the Downton scripts lol! Imagine Branson imitating Lady Violet :D
