I thought this was a Cyberpunk reference and was like "Huh, did i buy the wring cyberpunk? Because that one clearly has vampires while mine allows me to customize my pp"
I played it solo and eventually the grind and micromanaging was more than I was interested in. Good luck finding and bringing 100% blood back to your cells. I had some short lived fun with it but can't say I'll go back.
It's one of the least grindiest survival games. But if you still think its too much you can just change the server settings to see as you fit, its very sandbox friendly. Its prib more designed for a team of players but its not that harder/but its a lil geindier solo yes. Also for bringing back prisoners they added dusk callers in Gloomrot update, no more walking back even tho that wasnt hard solo to begin with. Full release is May 8th, its time to see this game at itXs full potential, even tho its already a gem among survival games in its early acceas

Are you going to play it multiplayer or single player? I played it single player, but I did not have a great experience. The main problem was the performance, it constantly stuttered/froze, and there was a bunch of rubber banding due to "connection issues" (despite playing offline). Beyond that there's a lot of settings you'll want to tweak, because in single player they're effectively just time wasters. Some notable ones are the ability to fast travel while carrying resources (you're always carrying resources) and the inventory stack size (you're always running out of inventory space, so you want maximum stack size). You may also want to increase the resources gathered by servants to the maximum, because that system is built assuming that they'd keep gathering while you're offline, but that only works on an always-online server.
I can kind of see people adopting vampires much the same way as cats. I mean think about it we domesticated cats for the entire purpose of limiting rats and mice if the vampires gonna do the same job why not.

Vampires in V risng is freaking pathetic, hit weak af, like you're lv 51 and could only deal 11-14 damage to boss but you take 40-80 damage from a normal archer mob
I feel like its time to re-do a vamp out of the vamp circle in my dnd campaign (,to have an odd one to make the others look more sinister). I think Gary feels quite apt...

The vampire survival mechanics are a neat twist on survival games. It feels a lot like Valheim tbh, but with top-down fighting.

Great game but man does it need some content, my buddies and I beat it in 2 or 3 days on a merciless pvp server and we crave more content.
