When I bought my vraska deck I got assassins trophy foil and regular in the 2 packs that came with it.
I was drafting theros beyond death about a year ago and opened foil alternate frame art thing purphoros and a nyxbloom ancient. The worst thing was that i had to give one of them up.
@@irishdrunkass dude i was in a zendicar pre-release the dude next to me got a lottery land and a mythic in one pack. sold it to the shop for the retail value 170 or sth on the spot. cos they would make 190 selling it. (wasn't in his colours) i think he got a booster box and then the rest in cash.

Every channel I’ve watched, this core set is amazing. Everybody is getting amazing pulls. This second box opening was off the charts. Wow!!
I opened a box got a Sorin, all three Chandra's, leyline of the void (both foil and not) cavalier of thorns, several 4-6$ cards such as shifting ceratops, nighpack ambusher, etc and didn't think there was a better box, I was wrong

Happened to me when I picked up my two pre order boxes. Box one was mythic Chandra and foil Kethis in the same pack. Box two was foil Sorin.

Back in m15 I pulled Foil Garruk and normal Garruk in the same pack during prerelease was wild pulled 4 plains walkers in 6 packs

Foil rate is 1 in 45 card (back of the pack bottom left). So 1 foil every 3 packs = 12 foils per box.
How do I get my hands on one of those playmats?
It was a blank playmat at GP Vegas 2016 I believe. All it had was the red scenery on the bottom and someone drew Rudy on it while he was there.

I've seen a few box openings with 3 foil rares since they upped the rate. Pretty fun, but definitely an effort to dilute the value of foils so Wizards can roll out at MEGA ULTRA FOILS at 1:500 cards and corner the secondary market.

1. Agree 4th Q product will be high priced. My company is "magically" pushing a brand new program to close out Q3 and have a good Q4... its ALL for stockholders and profit
2. Sad they increased the foil odds so much. Foil Sorin is only $25 and non foil is $15.

I'm just beginning to get into mtg and I bought the war of the spark Gideon deck, after that I bought like 5 booster packs and what not and I don't know if I should buy the core set 2020 stuff, I've only done like 10 games one on one with a friend, I'm debating if I should figure out the other mechanics of my cards or just buy one of the big boys?

I’ve noticed there are 2 different printing styles of M20. One mimicking modern horizons and one a typical gloss.
Casey D modern horizons had the same issue, if you bought retail booster draft packs they were glossy, if you bought hobby boosters they were matte.
first wave is always top quality, then anything after that is the cheapo printers

Maybe I should have filmed my, punch in floppy taco box opening of core 2020 yesterday. 2 mythic’s and 5 foils. Dude got more in 8 packs then I got in total box! Good for him though! (One tear drops down my face).
Last I checked, the 2 non-foil Sorins run around $15 each, the mythic Chandra runs $15, and the two Leyline Of The Voids run around $16 each. Those 5 cards almost bought one of those boxes, coming in at around $77 for the five of them.
For those of you iffy on the fat packs, I have pulled a Sorin, and Ajani, and a foil Leyline Of The Void - as well as the non foil version - in one box. My Wife pulled the Sorin and mythic Chandra out of another fat pack. I'm not sure on whether or not Wizards is randomizing the fat packs or not, but it does seem that they are stepping up on their value of these fat packs to make them more appealing.

Foils are 50% more likely to be pulled as of core set 20. So if the hypothetical chance is 10%, it's now 15%.

That product has already been announced, Rudy. It's the Eldraine Collector's Packs. LGSs were only given enough to give one pack for every regular preorder and the actual boxes have already sold out online. It was another Mythic Edition in disguise.
