at first i thought the little stand came with the app, and i was like "who tf is gonna buy this and carry around a little stand everywhere?" but then he explained how it worked with the phones vibrations and it blew my mind. it's unbelievable that this isn't a staple feature in phones by now, its incredible. its a shame that the company was sold to caravana. great for the entrepreneur, he got his money's worth, but this technology could have gone further imo.

I learned from this episode that Mark is forced to play nice with the other sharks in other episodes by offering generally the same investment as they do. But when he saw this product, he knew he wanted it so he upped the ante all the way up to $1M. But when Bruno suggested Mark and Lori team up, Mark had to ask Lori first if she could afford $500,000. Mark still could've easily gone for majority stake but he agreed to 50-50 with Lori.
I think Kevin’s offer of $90k for a 15% royalty is honestly quite fair. It’s like he’s saying, 'Let’s make money together without diluting your equity.'

He knew the entrepreneur will request to lower the investment as well as the equity. Let's just say both won that deal.
